a bunch of av art i did the other day         IKNOW, I WENT ON ASPREE COS I NEEDED DRAWING PRACTISE is it just me, or do all my drawings look like they were done by different people? gonk XD And here's, I dunno, a quick 5min doodle selfportrait thing i did to update my deviantart icon cos i was starting to hate the old one. D:

It's funny, sometimes artists resemble their drawings, proportion-wise... Like, if an artist has really long thin legs, a lot of times she'll naturally draw long thin legs on all of her characters. Or, whenever I see people with really amazing eyes, their drawings always having really amazing eyes too, even if they're not very good at drawing.
Of course, I imagine once you're a skilled artist, you can alter your tendancies...
But isn't it odd that gorgeous-looking artworks and characters usually have a gorgeous face working behind them? x[
[Maybe not so odd, as gorgeous people would see their gorgeous selves in the mirror everyday, so they'd know exactly how a gorgeous character should look.]

my drawings often have squarish faces, and people used to always say it was because i started drawing anime first, but in reality it's because i have a stronger jaw and high cheekbones and overall not an oval head at all, and my charactors follow suit, as a general statement.
haha.
*scans the drawings she just submitted*
errr... yeah. More or less every single one of these charas has the same long, strong jaw and me, my mom, and most of my siblings. LAWLZ
