Kaidan
Yes...Soft Ballet consists of the same type of bandmembers as Devise. Two keyboardists and a vocalist. That is the band. AND THEY ARE SECKS.

Ken Morioka is the GAYEST guy I've ever seen. He's as gei as Ao. <3

i could have SWORN that soft ballet had a drummer or a 4th member @__@

to me, its a double edged sword. speaking where "you"="band"

one one hand you are getting a lot of promotion by going to cons and such and a lot of people who go to cons have a lot of money to spend, thus giving you money and more fame in another conuntry. It is really hard to plan shows in other countries so i think they are doing the best they can to promote themselves

on the other hand you got a fan base compiled mostly of morons and will be labled as a "con band" or worse. also if you believe yourself a good band with something to offer... you are kinda selling yourself short only taking the slightly more easy way out where your show is being worked on by people who are 90% amatures with show setups.

there are others things out there and some of you have mentioned them already... but yeah... thats all i can think of right now.

Tokyo Jihen is Shiina Ringo's band. They play different music than Shiina Ringo's solo releases, even though the same members were her backup band. This is because the backup band now has a chance to change the direction of the musical output.

So is anyone going to any shows?

I want to see Peelander-Z this weekend, but the only way we can go back home is by Greyhound again. I fscking hate them.

I'm debating on whether going to see Mono in ******** is a good idea. It'll be a pain in the a** to get there and back though. Maybe I crash in my friend's dorm. She's at Villanova. lol

Also, Krush? crying I hate Pittsburgh.

Don't hate on Philly.

Just because you suck doesn't mean Philly does, too. biggrin

NYC rules. If I lived there, I'd be seeing a show every night.

I love NYC. I wanted to go to NYU but 1) I didn't get accepted. 2) My dad wouldn't let me go anyways.

What's so great about NYU, anyway?

Aside from being close to so many clubs.

Plus it has an excellent public transporation system, doesn't it? I wish Pitt had a decent subway program going on.

It's pretty good, I guess. I know Philly's working on improving it's subway system. There are nicer buses, too.

I'm so bored I could play Diablo.
