the movie proved to be more corny than Mikki expected, it was about this ballet dncer who's only dream is to go to france, but then she meets this guy, falls inlove, then marrys him, he gets shipped off to war, leaving the girl all his money, she goes to france, takes more dance classes, falls head over heels for her instructor, she finally gets her big break and dances for a huge crowd, but that same night, her instuctor proposes to a french girl.... half the theater was crying.
"can you believe this?" she leaned over and asked Kieth

Mikki smiled, "it was the only thing showing!!" she retorted, she scoffed as the main character was about to return to the airport but her instructer stopped her, claiming his undying love

"well, seeing as the girl just slapped her instuctor, got on the plane, and is now in the arms of the husband who was in the war.... i think the movie should end in 3..2..1.." and as if on cue the screen froze as the husband and wfie kissed and the credits started rolling

"when i get to be middle aged, will i cry when i see this movie?" Mikkette asked as she watched all the middle aged women leave the theater blowing thei noses and talking about how 'lilac' wasn't so lonly anymore
