Arthur silently walked passed the two nations, not wanting to bring attention to himself. He should probably apologize for being as badly behaved as he was when, in reality, they were something akin to guests. The two had done nothing to warrant being on the wrong side of his temper. He knew this, but something held him back. To apologize was to admit to being in the wrong. He didn't like admitting that he had been wrong. His pride wouldn't let him. So, instead, he walked by as if he didn't see them.

Walking back into the meeting room, he went back to the seat he had taken beside Alfred earlier. Instead of starting a fight like he had before, he didn't even acknowledge the boy. He, instead, opted to crossing his arms on the table and resting his head on them, closing his eyes. His head was still pounding, but he wasn't angry like he was before. He was more depressed.

After this blasted meeting, he was either going to a bar or going home to have a bath and nurse a bottle of aged whiskey that his older brother had gotten him as a gift a while back.

Feliks entered the bathroom with Toris. He let go of his friends hand and quickly glanced around before a disappointed pout appeared on his face, "Okay, maybe they, like, don't have hair dryers (why would the bathroom have hair dryers?! I really have no idea what I'm doing XD) in here, but they, like, should at least have had some kind of dryers. Like, the ones you use for your hands or something..."
The only thing that he could use for his intentions to dry off his friend were the paper towels in the paper towel dispensers....but would that really work?
I, like, might as well try. Feliks thought, flipping his hair as he walked over and grabbed some paper towels. He then walked back to Toris and tried to dry his wet hair.....although he was pretty sure it wasn't going to work.....

Mathias smirked as he pulled Sindre back to the taxi with him.
"Kom nu! I know a way to fit room for all of us!" The others had just gotten as the two of them stopped in front of the taxi. Not letting go of Sindre, Mathias sat down into the taxi. Then in one swift movement he pulled Sinder onto his lap, still smirking.
"The king of Northern Europe can always solve a problem!" he announced as he closed the door.

Gathering his thoughts, he watched Roderich's reaction and his blood ran cold. A fury flashed through his eyes, as well as a sharp shoot of pain. He blocked both out and got to his feet, not looking at Elizabeta. Her face would show pain, he knew, and he didn't want to see that. She didn't deserve being yelled at when all she was trying to do was help. No, but her actions did show him a valuable piece of knowledge. Austria was playing him for a sucker. He was manipulating the most important thing a person had in order to win. Not even Gilbert would sink so low as that.

Walking over to his briefcase, he grabbed it and went over to his younger brother. "I'm not going to stay for the meeting, bruderlain," he murmured, ducking his head a bit and grabbing the black umbrella. Before anything could be said, he fled out the door and hurried down the hall. Once outside, he walked to the empty park in the rain. He didn't open the umbrella. He sat down on one of the benches and stared up at the sky, his black shirt becoming soaked and sticking to his chest.

"Damn it," he choked out, trembling. He ducked his head down, wet white strands of hair falling over his face. His hands clenched in fists and his gritted his teeth in fury. "That b*****d went too far," he muttered, staring weakly down at his lap.

Feliciano's eyes followed Gilbert as he left, a worried expression on his face. He then turned to give Ludwig his worried look, "Ludwig, is it okay he's leaving?"

Ludwig blinked when his older brother walked up to him and leaned over his shoulder to tell him he was leaving. He was unable to even get a word out before the umbrella was taken and the albino left the conference room. He sighed slightly and leaned back in the chair, listening to Italy's worry silently for a moment.

"Probably not," he admitted, closing his eyes as he spoke. "But he's stubborn. He's hungover...maybe it was too loud or something." Ever since coming back from Russia's, Gilbert had been acting a bit strangely. He had odd moments of silence. He worried more. His grew upset over things that never before seemed to bother him. He wasn't sure what could be done.

'You are sweet, aru.' Yao commented mildly, giving a little laugh as he let go of the nation. He felt as if perhaps he had overstepped the mark a bit, himself, and felt a little embarrassed about being so cuddly all of a sudden. 'So, do you feel up to going back into the meeting yet...?' A subject change, that was good. He didn't want to talk about Arthur, and didn't want to talk about... Well, anything that'd just happened. It was... Strange. 'I don't know about you, but I could really do with a lie-down now... It's already been so stressful.' His laugh was again a little nervous, and he tucked a little of his loose hair behind his ears, looking to the door of the meeting. He didn't even know what they were meant to talk about... But whatever it was, he was sure it wouldn't really concern him. At all.

----------

Roderich was becoming increasingly aware of the slight awkwardness whilst being out in the corridor. However, he'd rested his forehead against the wall and refused to look at either China or Greece, feeling his temper waning slowly, but surely. Only now, he felt a mix of emotions, but mostly regret. Regret for snapping at Elizabeta the way he'd done, but there was no regret in what he'd said to Gilbert. And he felt inhumane for that... And that was what hurt enough.

Then he heard someone hurry past, and he glanced up quickly enough to spot Gilbert before he went out into the rain.

Had he really frightened him off that much? Roderich felt a chill awash his entire body, and shivered. Surely he should...

No, it was time to amend. And amend, he would. Wordlessly, he walked back into the meeting, eyes on the floor as he fetched his still-wet jacket, throwing it on before leaving again, with nothing mentioned... He'd apologise to Elizabeta later, but right now, it was more important to right the much more grievous wrong that he had committed.

London was certainly a big place... Though he was sure he could find the albino. After all, if he asked around, he was sure that someone would have seen him... It wasn't as if he was hard to miss, after all.

'Excuse me, have you perhaps seen...' Roderich tried, countless times, and most appeared fruitless... Apart from one description of a man in dark clothes and white hair, carrying what appeared to be a case and an umbrella...

'Thank you. It's... Important to me.' He muttered as he followed the direction that the lady had pointed out, muttering soft cursewords at his own stupidity. However, he fell silent as he spotted Gilbert, swallowing a little.

Damn. What was he meant to say in this circumstance...? 'I'm sorry for abusing you. That would sound perfect, surely.' He bit sarcastically at his own thoughts, standing in silence, in the rain, feeling ever so foolish. 'Hey... What're you doing all the way out here?' Roderich asked hopelessly, making sure to pay heed to the distance between the two, which he was sure that Gilbert did not want him to breach ever again. 'Listen. I...' He glanced up at Gilbert, removing his glasses in order to see properly -after all, they were now rain-spattered-, slipping the offending articles into his pocket.

The sight stung, it really did. Gilbert looked... So much different to the Gilbert he knew. This wasn't Prussia, the nation who had openly taunted him and even threatened to capture the Austrian's defeat in a painting to be 'admired' for all time...

This was a person. This was Gilbert. And now, Roderich felt sick.

----------

'A-ah...!' The usually quiet nation yelped a little at the sudden movement, finding himself now in the lap of his best friend. This was so strange... His breath quickened a little in a slight panic, his brain attempting to figure out exactly how he'd gotten here. It'd all been so quick and smooth that he'd not had time to think or react, or even register what the heck had happened. 'W-Warn me... Next time... ' He found himself muttering, cheeks stained with a deep red as the shock finally settled, and the shyness erupted instead.

However, it didn't seem as if anyone else had a problem with it, so Sindre attempted to settle himself, shifting to get comfortable. It wasn't too hard... The Dane was warm and quite nice, and it certainly beat walking in the rain, though he worried that this sort of set-up was awkward for his best friend. 'You certainly have... A strange way of solving problems.' He removed his hat, placing it in his own lap to keep it safe.

----------

'A-ah, Feliks... Feliks, that's...' Toris stuttered a little, looking quite worried by his friend's choice of drying. Surely paper towels would just break apart... And in his hair, no less. Surely Feliks knew that, right?

Of course, as much as he appreciated his friend's help, this was a bit odd. And it was a bit... Odd to have his friend dry his hair for him, though he offered no further complaint. He supposed, if worst came to the worst, he could just pick out the little bits of paper towel, but that would just mean that he'd miss half the meeting. But then again, that wasn't such a bad thing.

"I..I don't know.." Heracles stuttered, filled with embarrassment at his previous sentence. "I mean..if you want to, then I guess we should go back.." The Greek's head was spinning, probably due to his embarrassment.

He almost missed his friend's next sentence, and once again, guilt gripped him. He should have been comforting Yao, not the other way round...he hadn't been through half as much as what the Asian had been through today. Smiling apologetically at the nation, Heracles said "Forgive me. You should have mentioned that you were not feeling so well earlier. Is there any way I can help?"

PostPosted: Mon Aug 23, 2010 1:18 am

'Oh, no, it's fine. I'm always tired.' Yao shook his head a little, wanting to dispel any worry that the other nation had. 'You're the one who's feeling sickly, not I... I'm just a bit worn-out is all. I'm more concerned for your sake, not mine. And as for going back... I'll only want to go back when you're ready to, alright? It'd be selfish of me to want to go back in there. And besides-' He gave another little laugh, finding himself ever so cheered up now. '-You're so much more interesting than sitting around in there. I'd much rather stay out here with you.' He paused, glancing left and right as if fearing detection, before leaning forward to press one little chaste kiss against Heracles' forehead as a sign of gratitude, drawing away almost immediately. 'But your concern is lovely, so thank you, Heracles.' His face flushed warmly at what he'd just done, but he fought it down with a swallow, burying his face into his own folded arms with a timid giggle. 'Sorry.'

Heracles smiled warmly. "You really are adorable, you know?" he said to the blushing nation. He gently pulled Yao's hands away from his face, before leaning in and gently placing his own kiss on the timid nations forehead. Blushing slightly himself, he gently ruffled his friends hair. "What are you apologising for?" Heracles asked, chuckling slightly. "The only thing you've done today is be kind to me, so there's no valid reason for you to say sorry." Removing the cat from his shoulder, Heracles once more placed the creature into Yao's lap, still laughing softly at his friend's embarrassment.

PostPosted: Mon Aug 23, 2010 1:50 am

'A-adorable...?' Yao blinked, eyes widening a little at the slight change in situation between the two. 'I... Th-thank you.' It was a word that he'd not heard in a long while from someone else's lips, and it had not been ever directed at him personally. Cats were adorable. Bunnies were adorable. But him...? He held the cat close to himself, nuzzling the soft fur gently as he sat, deep in thought for a few moments. 'Heracles...' He was unable to think of anything to say, and instead fell silent, resting his head on the nation's shoulder, closing his eyes for a few moments. 'What are we doing?' He wanted to ask, but he supposed such a question would be recieved terribly. 'I don't want to move just yet...' A soft, contented sigh left him as he smiled warmly, though he could not bring himself to open his eyes. 'Don't go without me, will you...? I don't want to be left here by myself, aru.' He absentmindedly reached to place one free hand on top of Heracles', his other hand stroking the cat in a rhythmic fashion.

A warm, contented feeling rose within Heracles as the other nation leaned against him with a small sigh. He, too, closed his eyes, and rested his own head upon Yao's, allowing his own sigh to slip between his lips. "I already told you, Yao..I'm not going to leave you..and I don't want to move just yet, either." Heracles spoke softly, his voice little more than a whisper. Slipping his hand out from under Yao's, the Greek wrapped his arm across the small man's shoulders, and gave them a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry..I'm staying here."

PostPosted: Mon Aug 23, 2010 2:27 am

That was unexpected move, and Yao felt his face burning up again at the closeness. Then again, he couldn't bring himself to move... He wanted to forget that he was China, and forget the altercation with Arthur... And Heracles offered some of the best comfort he could possibly ask for. However, he was becoming increasingly aware that this could potentially be upsetting for others... Like Japan. And Japan was his little brother... This was surely one of the lowest forms of theft. After all, from what he knew -or heard-, Japan was very close to Greece. And in a mere few minutes, Yao had settled himself in the situation, like a cuckoo chick (Of course, cuckoos being famous for leaving their eggs in other birds' nests... And then the hatchling would 'dispose' of the other eggs or chicks), and he felt guilt grab hold of him again.

But this was just so much worse. He thought of Japan, and trembled violently. He loved his brother dearly... But he -Yao- never had this sort of opportunity to be so close and friendly with another nation, so quickly... And not only that, it just seemed so... Comfortable, too. As if nothing could possibly hinder it... And that's what hurt most of all. He couldn't possibly put his own wants above Kiku's.

By this point, the Asian was crying. Not noisy sobs, however... Just silent tears of frustration clung to his lashes, occasionally rolling down his flushed face. So many things were in the way of this... And surely, it'd not be allowed.

Bitter realisation made him feel much more sickly than before.

Through Heracles haze of contentment, he became aware that something seemed to be wrong with Yao. Looking down, he saw..tears? What was the matter? The Asian was not only crying, but trembling violently too. "Yao?" The Greek spoke softly, not wanting to upset his friend anymore than he already was. Gently, the Mediterranean nation turned the Asian's face towards his own, in order to look him full in the face. "What's wrong...?" Just as gently, Heracle wiped away the tears rolling down Yao's face, all the while looking at the nation for any sign of what was troubling him.

PostPosted: Mon Aug 23, 2010 2:56 am

'I-I... Am the worst brother i-i-in the world, aru...' The Asian bleated his guilt without another thought, the flow of tears getting thicker and constant. 'K-Kiku... Oh, K-Kiku... He's s-so fond of you and... I c-can't...' He trailed off with a little hiccup, lowering his gaze from Heracles'. 'He's... He's... M-my baby brother... I... I'm a fiend...!' He shook, sniffling a little. He supposed he probably looked quite pathetic, crying like this, but it was just so quick and confusing... He couldn't bring himself to even think of Japan. It hurt him to do so, like his heart knotted up tightly at the very mental image of the boy... Well, the young boy he'd found. How he could betray such a child... He didn't want to think.

"Sh..it's ok..you arn't a bad brother, or a fiend..why would you think that of yourself?" Pulling the distraught nation even closer towards him, Heracles gently began to stroke his hair, murmuring soft noises of comfort. The Mediterranean simply could not understand why this had come over his friend so quickly..but no matter what the cause, Heracles would make sure that the problem would be solved quickly. It distressed him greatly to see his new friend so upset.
