Axel looked up at him with pleading eyes. "I-I know it's the right thing to do, but, Marluxia, I promised him... I promised him I would come back in a few days! It's gonna take me longer to get Demyx out and social again! He's gonna think I don't want to see him!" he whimpered, eyes tearing up again. He gripped his hair, bowing his head with his eyes shut tight. "I feel like I'm being torn in two..," he whispered in a pained voice. "It's killing me..."
"I know, Riku..," Sora whispered, hugging him tightly, burying his face in the silver hair. They silently cried together for a few moments. "I hope...one day you'll be able to let me closer to you," he added in a very quiet, gentle voice. He combed his fingers through Riku's hair and kissed his temple lovingly before going completely silent again, just holding him.

Marluxia gave Axel no sympathy or pity. "Well, all that I can say is that you'll have to pick one. If you can't get Demyx out of his house of his own free-will in three days, and you still go see Roxas, it'll destroy Demyx. You know that, I know that. But it's worth a shot to try and reconnect with your best friend isn't it? You still have three days, don't count yourself out until you have already collected three strikes, okay?" Marluxia told him softly as he glanced back to the blonde passed out on the couch. "When you get bit by a snake, sometimes it just best to suck the poison out even if it is one drop at a time." The pink haired man whispered as he moved back into the living room so he could sit and watch t.v. while he waited for Demyx to wake up.
Riku frowned a little hugging him tightly back. "I hope so too.... I hope so too.." Riku mumbled a little not sure if he could. Riku didn't want Sora to get attached. He wanted Sora to be happy, and a part of Riku knew there would always been that fear of waking up and being so out of it that he couldn't tell who Sora was. Sora would be so devastated... Riku didn't want to put Sora through that. He didn't want to put anyone through that.

Axel pulled at his hair some more then looked over at the passed-out Demyx on the couch. He walked over to the blond and slid to his knees beside the couch. He ran his fingers gently down his face then let tears stream down his cheeks. He folded his arms on the couch beside the man's face and dropped his head down on them, crying himself to sleep within minutes.
Sora nodded slightly at his words. "I just...I want you to know...and remember...that you're one of the most beautiful people I know...and...and your flaws are the most beautiful part about you because...they're what make you unique. Without them...I wouldn't have met you..." He kissed Riku's neck gently. "I mean every word..," he whispered, hugging him tighter.

Marluxia didn't stop Axel. He knew this was hard for the red head, but Marluxia couldn't just make all this disappear. After thirty minutes, Marluxia was sure that Axel had fallen asleep and came behind him and lifted him onto the couch. The redhead looked so cute fast sleep next to Demyx. "Enjoy your nap you two," Marluxia whispered before kissing them each on the temple. Then the pink haired man moved out of the living room deciding that as long as Axel was right there, it was safe enough to do some chore around the house.
Riku smiled weakly pushing his face into Sora's brunette hair. "Sora.. I-" Riku whispered, but he stopped himself feeling a hand touch him. His turquoise eyes turned back to Roxas's face. He was standing next to the bed with tears in his eyes. He had a drawn pad when both of their attention was on him, he turned it to them. In shaky handwritten was the words 'visiting hours are over.' Riku jolted up a little looking for a clock. He actually had to get up and walk out into the hall, because they stopped giving him clocks. Riku, unfortunately kept breaking them. "Wow.. It really is already three-thirty.. it doesn't seem like it. I-I guess we got caught up in drawing and stuff." Riku said softly looking back at Roxas and Sora. Roxas's eye moved down to the drawing pad before he ripped the page out and handed it to Sora. Roxas had sketched them holding each other.

Sora's heart began to beat three times as quickly when Riku began to say something. He wanted to know what he was going to say. He wanted to know so badly... "Oh... Y-Yeah. I guess I should go, then..." He smiled down at the picture Roxas gave him. "Thank you, Roxy..," he said softly, hugging him tightly. "Love you, Roxy. I'll come visit again the day after tomorrow, as I'm sure you know..." He then pulled away from Roxas slowly and looked over at Riku. He hugged him tightly, too, arms winding around his neck. "I'll miss you..," he told him softly in his ear. He lingered there a little longer, not wanting to let go, then kissed his cheek and unlatched himself from him.

Roxas nodded to Sora knowing that he should have just let them finish their moment regardless of the rules, but he didn't want Sora to not be able to come back. Riku smiled to Sora hugging him back warmly. "Not if I miss you first." Riku said back jokingly trying to bring some happiness back to Sora's face. He really didn't want to go and Riku could tell. The turquoise eyes watched the brunette go to leave. His hand reached out shakily and grabbed Sora's hand, but didn't quite reach far enough to touch the other's hand. After a moment, the hand dropped and Riku turned to Roxas with more tears fulling his eyes. "It's not fair..." He whispered to the blonde getting a silent, unvoiced "I know." back.

Sora let out a small, teary laugh at Riku's words. Then he turned to leave, pulling out his cellphone as he wiped the tears from his eyes. He took a deep breath and called the number Riku gave him. "U-Uhm... Hello. This...is Sora. U-Uhm... I-I was one of the t-twins D-Demyx a-and Axel kept h-hostage. I...I was wondering..," he started, taking another deep breath. "I-I was wondering if...maybe I c-could come over to t-talk to D-Demyx..," he finished in a shakey voice. "A-Axel said h-he was getting b-better...o-or he was t-trying to, a-and I...I want to s-see for m-myself... I-I just really want to talk to him...for Roxas' sake..."

Marluxia startled slightly hearing the phone go off. The pink haired man quickly ran to the noisy device and picked it up. "Hello?"He asked quietly peeking into the living room. Axel and Demyx were thankfully still asleep. As he listened to Sora, he moved outside onto the back patio as his voice wouldn't disturb the two. "... Sweetie, I don't know if that is possible... yes, Demyx has been doing better, and he has stopped all the horrible, horrible things he used to do, but he is no way ready to see you again. He heard Roxas's name today, and had a psychotic breakdown... almost killed himself and hurt both Axel and me when we tried to subdue him. Maybe in the future, but I'm sorry, but if you somehow find out where we live, I won't let you see him. I won't risk pushing him into something he isn't comfortable with not after all the crap Axel pulled today. If there is nothing else... I think I should be going.. Demyx and Axel are sleeping and I don't want to wake them up." Marluxia explained truthfully protecting Demyx.

Sora felt new tears building up in his eyes as he listened to Marluxia speak. He nodded, a few tears falling down his cheeks. He took a minute to try and steady his voice. "O-Oh...th-that's alright... B-By what you're saying, I g-guess Axel isn't allowed to see Roxy for a wh-while then... U-Uhm... Would...would it be alright if I c-called to check in l-like once a week? I-I'd just like to know how Axel and...D-D-Demyx are doing... S-So I can keep Roxas u-updated..." He took a moment to sniffle and try to wipe his tears off of his face. He sniffled again. "S-Sorry for bothering you," he said softly, wiping his face again. "I...I wish everything didn't have to b-be so complicated..," he added in an even quieter voice. "U-Uhm...when...when you think it's okay to...to let him know... I...I want D-Demyx to know that...that I...I'm gonna try and start forgiving him for wh-what he did... I just...I want everything to be alright again, and..." He paused for a moment. "And the only way for that to happen is if he's forgiven...by me, Roxas...and himself. I...I want to help him get better, but this is the only way I know to help him, so..." He trailed off then, not sure what else to say. "J-Just...let him know that...that I want him to try to forgive himself, too..."

Marluxia frowned a little not really thinking that communication with Sora was such a good idea, but he figured he had to give the poor baby something. Marluxia didn't want Sora, Roxas, Axel or Demyx hurting... It was just a bad situation all around. "Well that is very brave and tremendously nice of you to feel like you ever have to forgive him. I know most people in your circumstance with Demyx would have tried to hunt him down and have him put away without ever attempting to forgive him. "And yes, you can still call this number to check up on Axel and see how Demyx is doing, but please until Demyx is ready, can you not leave any voice-mails on the answering machine or answer if Demyx picks up? Just for now. I don't want to freak him out like I said. He really has gotten better now that he is on ALL the medication he needs to be." Marluxia said hoping that this plan would work out for all of them this way.

Sora nodded, though he knew Marluxia couldn't see. "O-Okay... That sounds good," he said softly, wiping some of his tears away. "Th-Thank you. I really appreciate it. I just wish everything was easier than this. I-I want to get everything fixed as soon as possible..," he whispered sadly, "for everyone's sake..." He paused for a bit to steady his breathing. "U-Um... I guess I'll call back every Thursday? Is that okay? Probably around Noon. Maybe you can keep Demyx from answering the phone that way..."

Marluxia nodded a little mentally making a note in his head about Thursdays at noon. Usually noontime was when Demyx ate lunch then shut himself up in his room to do his yoga and take his afternoon naps if he was feeling tired, so noontime for the call would work. He would have to tell Axel of course, but that was okay too. Axel probably would be excited about it. "Yeah that sounds fine, honey. Well I better go before someone catches me out here chatting your ear off. You and your brother take care of yourselves, okay? Bye." Marluxia said softly as a farewell before getting a bye back from Sora and hanging up the phone.
The pink haired man after hanging up, slipped back into the house to find it luckily just as he left it, with both Axel and Demyx asleep in it.

The next day, Axel stirred in his sleep. He blinked and then buried his face in Demyx's chest for a few moments at the light. "Mm... Marly?" he mumbled, sitting up slowly as to not wake the blond up. He looked around as he sat there. "Marly? You still home?" he called softly, not wanting to get up in fear Demyx would wake up alone and freak out again.

Marluxia stood from the computer desk in his room at the sound of another voice. All the bruises from Demyx's meltdown made it very hard for him to sleep. He had gotten at the most three to five hours of sleep. He was actually currently chatting online with a few people he knew from work and other various places. Marluxia rarely got to go on outings anymore besides work, so online he tried to remain as active as possible to he didn't lose touch with anyone he truly cared about. The extra time online had really helped him to get caught back up with the inner circles of his friends' lives.
As entertaining as it all was though, Demyx and Axel always came first if Marluxia could manage it. It was the reason, he was up out the chair so fast hearing the other voice for sure. "Did you need something sweetie?" He called softly as he walked down the hall seeing Axel's head up over the couch. The pink haired man did have a feeling it was in fact Axel. Demyx didn't really take high doses of anything to serve his needs, and Marluxia didn't actually proportion the tranquilizer for him. He just grabbed a random one out of the medicine cabinet. Marluxia wouldn't be surprised if he didn't walk up until the afternoon. It was still sweet that Axel was trying to be quiet to keep him asleep.

"I really need to pee...but I don't want to leave him alone. I mean, I know he probably won't wake up for a while, but...can you sit with him for a minute?" he asked softly, looking up at him with guilt-ridden eyes. Though he just slept well into the morning, he looked extremely stressed out and unhealthy. He had dark circles beneath his eyes like he hadn't slept at all and they were bloodshot from crying himself to sleep. His shoulders sagged with his whole body as he sat there, glancing back at Demyx. Axel actually looked like he was making himself sick with stress.
