Aeryn thought about his comment about not having the right equipment. He thought of his house that they were going to, there was quite a bit of equipment there. It was a haven to Aeryn. There was everything needed to stage a band, no matter what genre, and also an orchestra. He loved music and needed all teh equipment for all of his own concerts he performed. He thought of his next concert, it was in Wales and was for one of the dukes. That was in about a couple of days. He would tkae a private plane there with all of his string intruments because the duke loved strings. He would get a pretty penny for this performance. He looked over at Shino and wondered if he knew how to play any other intruments than guitar. He almost hoped he didn't He would love to teach him some of his favorites like the flute and the cello. They were elegantly beautiful in their sound ranging from a mournful song to a cheery tune.

Aeryn smiled to himself, wondering how he figured out that he wasn't exactly human. He wasn't full elf though and really didn't have any of the features. He had the ears, but thanks to his long dark hair they were concealed. Maybe it was his actions, the thought kind of unnnerved him. he didn't like that he was able to be pointed out as different. He made a bit of a sour face as he thought this. "Hmm, so why do you think I'm not human?" He glanced at him with a playful smile on his lips and a curious quirk to his eyebrow.

Aeryn still had the playful smile plastered on his face as he began to blush. He became thoughtful and couldn't believe that Shino was that perceptive. He looked at Shino and guessed that since he already knew that he wasn't completely human he might was well spill his guts. He sighed and gripped the steering wheel a bit tighter. " You're right, I'm not completely human, I'm also part elf. But not only that, I'm also kind of blind in my left eye." He wasn't going to elaborate on that though, it brought back painful memories and he would rather that not happen just yet.

Aeryn chuckled to himself. If Shino had only know the things he had seen in his twenty three years of life. He thought about how Shino explained elves, and it did seem logical. Many people had threatened him and tried to gang up on him but even with his left eye he still defeated them and made them fearful of him. He never really meant to but it couldn't be helped sometimes. He never really knew what elves were supposed to be like since his father died... but oh well he fared pretty well on his own.

He heard Shino groan next to him and immediately replied "Is something wrong Shino?"

Aeryn's delicate eyebrows mashed together in a mask of confusion. He said it was nothing, but why is he blushing such a deep red and having a strain to his voice? He glanced over to Shino worried, for what he didn't know. He looked over at Shino who was looking down. He followed his line of vision and blanched. A deep red crept all the way from his shoulders to his cheeks. It's ok, it's ok, just calm down. He kept his eyes on the road, although they were twice the size they were originally. Aeryn didn't know how to react to this situation, and didn't really understand what it meant.

Aeryn heard yet another groan and realized now what it was from. He didn't really know how to react to something like this, he had never had anyone be excited around him. He was so flustered that he didn't even know how far away his house was. They have been driving for a bit but he did live in the middle of nowhere. He shook his head to clear it and cleared his throat. "We are still a ways away from my house." He said this as he pulled his old car over. He dared to look over at Shino and aw his face. He turned yet another deeper shade of red and chided himself. Shino's face made a spark of thought light in Aeryn's mind, but didn't really have the effect that Shino was going through.

Aeryn watched as he left the car and slumped back into his chair. Whoa, well that was....interesting. He wouldn't really have guessed that would have happened or that Shino was attracted to him. Yes, Aeryn was also attracted to him a bit but he was looking for a friend, not a lover. He chuckled to himself wondering what he had gotten himself into. While he was waiting for Shino to come back he thought of one of his compositions. It was soft and sweet in the beginning but near the middle it became more of a hard=sounding song. He played the piano and cello in his mind to this song, his fingers finding the notes on the steering wheel. Hies different shaded blue eyes were closed and his hair spilled onto the steering wheel.

Aeryn waited and waited and soon began to worry. He wondered what could be taking him so long, he should have been done by now. He soon debated whether or not he should check up on Shino and decided that he should because the worse thing that could happen would be that he caught Shino in the middle of something and he thought that would be better than anything that was going through his mind.

He sighed and opened the creaky door to the car and slid out of the car. He placed his feet on the asphalt and began walking in the direction he had last seen Shino walking. As he walked he didn't make so much as a whisper, even though the ground was littered with twigs and rocks. He kept of walking until he heard voices. Voices? this was bad. He sped up his pace and soon saw Shino on the ground restrained and two guards, one with his pants almost down. He came up behind the two and in a calm but clear voice threatened them. Anger resonated behind the calm and his blue eyes blazed. "And what do you think you two are doing?" He was going to hurt these guys, he was very mad and that was something quite rare. When he was mad, it took a lot to calm him down.
