There will be no flying in the actual paintball game, of course. Riley's deadpan voice called out as the boils took off after West.

"Hey! He's running away!" Lizzy pouted before realizing that Jericho had taken off after the Wrath Demon. It might not be as spectacular as what she saw in her mind's eye, but she couldn't resist smiling and blushing slightly at the "show" unfolding in front of her. Once she snapped out of it, however, she started running so that she was below the two flying boils. Frowning, she tried to aim for West from where she was... But it was hard to aim while moving!

Christof had slammed a helmet on Calder when they entered another room, causing the kelpie to be pretty much blind. You didn't shove a helmet on a boil with that much hair around his face, and not to mention his ears were flattened. The one thing that he did hear was Riley's shouting, and he winced, but only because of her voice. Unlike the others. he was used to Riley being pissed at him and didn't cower when he heard it. Wanting to know what was going on, he started to twist and turn the helmet until he could pop it off. Once once, he started to fix his hair.

Looking about, he spotted Christof looking out from beside the door, and moving over, noticed a whole line of rainbow colored students in all shades of paint standing in a line, looking either scared or just nervous in front of the purple ghoul. "Whipped. The whole lot of 'em." He flicked a invisible whip before going back to examining the helmet.

It was then that Miss M, Junko's other mouth, spoke, and Calder snickered. Sure, he didn't like the head mouth all that much for calling him a pony, but she had balls. More than some of the others. Angered by this, Riley stormed in HIS direction, and he turned in time for him to take the red little do-hickey that Christof tried to give him and SHOUT at him before storming off. That right there made Calder laugh. She was crazy! Noodle Head had lost it. Day one, and she was screaming like a banshee.

He had to see what was going to happen, and found a spot next to Chrsitof. "Your owner is about to blow a gasket." He pointed out, not at all taking the demand to get out to heart. It was a free country, and he didn't take orders from her. When a boil named West was targeted, Calder felt like cheering. The boil had some spirit in him. Calder liked that.

Christof flinched when the cup was taken from him, but relaxed a bit when it seemed it was helping matters... in some way, anyway. He flushed at the snarl from his Mistress, though, glancing back to Calder before obediently snatching the helmet back.

That's right, he needed to sign in to play, that was the rules. Hoping the kelpie had been reading his book, he tucked the helmet under an arm to carefully and slowly gesture 'what-are-you-doing-here-anyway?' in sign, looking increasingly frustrated. He was trying to do his Mistress right, and here was Calder distracting her from her duties! No wonder she was angry!

And he was growing more furious as well, face red still. He needed to get target practice done too, but now he was left *babysitting*.

Calder had been reading the book, and he didn't like the 'tone' that Christof had when gesturing at him. Just because Riley was pissed didn't mean he had to be, and he didn't even do anything. Great. What did he even expect when showing up here? He should have known better. There wasn't even a way for him to be near Christof without Riley taking priority and Christof getting upset over every little thing Calder did as if it was HIS fault Riley had a short temper.

Hands now empty, Calder looked over at his friend, his eyes dark and emotion flat. "What? I can't share an interest in Fitness like any other student here today?" He went to fixing his hair now that it didn't look as if he would be getting a helmet. "Don't get pissed at me because Riley is having a hissy fit. I didn't do anything. I showed up. She is the one that got up in arms about it. Now you're getting all angry at me because she is when just a few minutes ago, you were squeezing my arm and dragging me in here." He pulled a lock behind his ear,

His eyes traveled out a moment. ".........but it doesn't look like she's teaching what I wanted to know. I know how a gun works. You do enough hunting in the woods to at least spot how they work." He glanced at the guns laying about but didn't pick one up. "...So much for tutelage."

He glanced at Christof. "....Go. I'm not keeping you here, Christof. I'm not your master after all. I'm sure you have work to do."

West couldn't do much but continue to fly, considering that he had left both his gun and helmet back on the ground. He also realized, through the pinches of intermittent paintballs and his rather impressive adrenaline rush, that there was no way in hell he was gong to outfly Jericho. He sped on, looking for possible endings to this impromptu game of West Hunt and finding none. Fine.

He fell into a poorly controlled dive, hands held in front of his face like a demented mask as he careened through a somewhat steady rain of paint. Luckily, it seemed that not many of his peers were very good shots, or perhaps the sight of a speeding boil coming at them had caused them to rethink their more murderous tendencies. Somewhere in the middle of the dive, West began to scream, and he kept on doing so as he slowed down near the ground, attempting to grab his gun as he skimmed past. Instead, he continued barreling forward, sliding into the dirt and skidding to a stop a good fifty feet away from the group. He remained still and silent, but his breathing appeared normal for someone who had just propelled himself through the air at high speeds. He was covered from head to toe in quite a number of splotches of paint, but only those first two shots Demi had landed on his forearm had begun to bruise.

Dammit! Astra hadn't realized that West could actually fly, and as jericho took after the demon she had a few moments to sit there and fume some more at her lack of ability to do the same. damn these heavy guns!

Not only that, but soon after riley told them all that in the actual game, flying wasn't allowed. Flying, wasn't allowed.

She was devastated upon hearing this. Her best skill, the once ace she had over everyone else, was gone. If she couldn't fly away she couldn't use her speed to it's best ability. How was she going to dodge all the paint balls? She couldn't run that fast, especially with the chest guard on...

The fairy became quite miserable then, glumly watching west and jericho fly around and also seeing the faint blush on lizzy's face. This seemed to annoy her even more. What did lizzy see in that big stupid dragon? When west suddenly took a nose dive, she flinched when the boil hit the ground and skidded. That looked like it hurt...

Riley wasn't shooting, but she was feeling a sense of victorious pride as her fellow members took fire to West at her command. When he came barrelling for them, she followed his path with her eyes, turning swiftly once he'd overtaken their position and passed them. Her arm rose sharply, one fist in the air to signal a cease fire.

Stop. She murmured, and dropped her hand. West was.. covered in paint. Her favorite part, however, was that he still looked pretty cocky.

Deep down, Riley liked West.

But there was no time for that today.

You look like a rainbow. That's something worth laughing at. She taunted in amusement.

Can we get back to target practice now? As in, shooting the targets, and not each other? Or can you children still not be trusted to play nice with your new toys?

Mot had been using the actual targets the whole time. Sure, there was apparent nosies and kafuffles behind him, but he was too buys playing with this paint-ball gun to care. It was so different from his Fear-fueled weapon!

Then Riley's voice practically exploded in his brain.

Mot cringed, looking back to the mindflayer and dropping his gun. What'd he do?....oh.. It was then he noticed the chaos. Paint. Everywhere. Mot followed the crowd front and center, just as told. Good gracious, quite a lively bunch!

Junko's little mishap caused the boil to look on with a brow raised. Mot had no idea Junko had a second mouth, and figured she just had a whole lot of balls to call out like that, until Riley shoved something behind her head. Odd.
It was then that West was called out as the new target. Well, if you say so! Mot readily picked up his gun and took aim, firing at the moving target gleefully. What fantastic practice!

Once that was done, and West was covered in paint, Mot sighed happily, and moved to go back to target practice. "This club is awesome."

Shehk hadn't really been keen at shooting at the wrathful demon, shouldering her gun at Riley's outburst (as opposed to putting it down), if only because she was relatively paint free (she hadn't shot -anything- yet!) and was sure she could get away with not pissing the mindflayer off in that instance.

At least she'd been hopeful she wouldn't piss off the mindflayer in that instance.

Never the less, she had at least crouched to AIM at Westus when Riley had ordered it so, the barrel of the gun following his movements (quite losely, Shehk was not a master of aiming or using any sort of firearm) in a tracking motion despite the fact she never actually pulled the trigger to fire at him.

It was good for practicing to aim. Ammo was precious, she wasn't about to waste it willy nilly.

Never the less, she rose again when Riley told them to stop, putting one hand on her hip and grinning widely.

"I'm ready to try firing this thing properly." Shehk answered to RIley's inquiry. Although it would be likely that the gun would try to take the Pricolici out in a heartbeat from even minor recoil. Not everybody was suited to use a paintball gun, afterall.

As soon as paintballs started flying inappropriately, Altair ducked and covered, looking for the skinwalker to get in a few shots before the club was called to order. To his great chagrin, he couldn't find the skinwalker in the midst of the sudden chaos, leaving him spoiling for it when Riley finally stepped up and yelled at them. At least West was drawing all of the fire so that he could move off in search of his preferred target. He was splattered with a few stray rounds, but the incubus managed to avoid the brunt of the fighting, and straightened finally when the sound of pressure-driven pulls ceased.

He surveyed the damage done to West and grinned behind his helmet. Oh yes. This game was going to be fun. His only regret was that he hadn't fired his gun a single time, but at least he'd saved it for Nukpana. He twitched an ear at the sound of Shehk's voice, his grin turning salacious, and hefted his gun.

"Now that the kids are done playing, me too," Altair agreed, turning towards the targets. He lifted the gun to peer along the sight and fired off a shot at one of the targets, paint splattering to the right of dead center.

Jericho knew there would be no actual flight in the game, but that didn't stop him from continuing to tail West in the air. It was too bad the guy didn't bring his gun up so there was no epic aerial battle. Then, suddenly the demon had decided to dive straight to the ground. The dragon dove after him... only he actually pulled up before smashing into the dirt.

Landing somewhere nearby, he looked over towards Riley as she made her way towards the fallen demon.

"Don't worry Riley," he said to her, "Though.. we might be needing more ammo soon."

He was sure he wasn't the only one who burned through shots during that little hunt.

Glancing down at West, he offered a hand to see if he needed any help getting back up.

Looking up from the ground where Bul had ate it, the half beast saw West had been a few colors different now than he was a couple second ago and started laughing in sheer enjoyment at how fun that just was- the whole surge of energy to attack one target. Yeah theyd be a force against the NAP team.

Slowly he pushed himself up noting that Riley had commanded them to stop which was probably a really good thing. Bul brushed off the parts of himself not covered in armor and took a moment to stretch before carrying his gun in a less wildly offensive manner and a more 'careful Im gonna try shooting now' way. He was low on shots but for now it would make due.

It was always so much fun when the prey tried their best to run during the hunt. The Boil was enjoying the thrill of shooting a flying target as he pulled up his visor to get a better look at the dragon chasing West down.
West had wings, who knew? It was something the hound didn't expect, he had frilly little wings. The thought gave the hound a little snicker as he lost his line of sight on the target, no point shooting wildly right?

It didn't really matter much as the boil soon after went careening to the ground, in a multicolored spectacle. He wouldn't make jokes about it yet, He would, but not yet. It looked like Riley wanted them to get back to stationary target practice, he agreed reluctantly that enough excitement was had. Hitting a moving target was fun, but not if you can't aim right in the first place, and the bullets he fired at West in the air didn't fly true to their target sadly.

With that, he adjusted the fit of his armor and checked the bruise that was slowly growing on his arm with mild dissatisfaction before hoisting his gun and his body back to his former spot.
