Marcus looked at her for a few moments when she grabbed his hand and chuckled slightly. "Sheesh, being sappy isn't goin to help either, but if it makes you feel better about your own helplessness then go for it." He continued to walk, again leaking madness into her at a very slow pace, hoping to feed the seed more. "Wonder if I can find those wolves you were talking about earlier."

Marcus looked at her and grinned softly. "Then Marcus is doomed. As for the wolves, they will come if they sense possible prey." Marcus cut his hand and then walked around and rubbed his blood on various trees before hiding and then jumped up into a tree and waited.

Marcus stayed up in the tree and continued to stare down very so often, not seeming to care that Nerine was there. "You know if you stay down there and the wolves show up and are hungry, they'll probably attack you and I'm not going to help you if they do." He sighed as he leaned back and stared up at the sky through the trees.

Marcus could see easier than Nerine could and saw a wolf, sniffing around and trying to figure out where the scent of the blood was coming from. He grinned wildly as he tried to think of what he could do to take the wolf, figuring he could keep it as a pet. He could be seen in the tree actin like a predator about to pounce on its prey.

Marcus ignored Nerine as he stared intently at the wolf. When it finally came far enough into the clearing, he jumped off the tree and landed on the wolf, catching it in his arms and rolling around on the ground. He struggled with the wolf for a while, getting cut and bitten every so often, but not letting up till finally it lay down from exhaustion. Marcus grinned as he picked up the wolf and started to carry it back towards the house, acting like he had just gotten some kind of trophy from a long expedition.
