Glancing at her mate and wondering why he had worded the welcome so, oddly.. Akitana stepped forward once more to take charge, used to welcomeing new members into the Pride, having been a Princess all her life. She smiled warmly at Anastacia, and then turned her eyes to Benton once more.
"Anyone you bring with you would be welcome here." Aki said with a nod. "It is a pleasure and an honor to meet your mate, and I hope we can become friends."

The lioness looked up toward the Queen. She gave a grateful bow to the Royal Couple. "I thank you for the welcome, and I do hope to gain allies in this pride..." Her single feather flicked gently. Suddenly, her head shot back up, worry flooding her eyes. "Oh no...Zeidan..." She murmured gently suddenly remember her duty to her past pride. Though they were scattered, she still belonged to them. "I must go back to my pride and ask for leave..." She winced gently at the word knowing Zeidan would not approve. Anastacia stared over to Benton, sighing gently. "I am sorry...I should have mentioned this earlier..." She looked toward the other pair apologizing as well. "I'll be back when all of this has been taken care of." She bowed to them again, then turned quickly, trotting out of the pridelands toward Hell's Shadows. This wouldn't be pretty for her...

Benton looked a little shocked, his eyebrows raised and looked to the couple with an appoligetic look an bowed slightly before taking off after Ana. "Wait! Wait! Are you sure you want to go alone? I think I should go with you." He was extremly concerned with how this was going to be handeled at this other pride...

She shook her head gently, stopping at the edge of the pride boarders. "Zeidan...he is extremely territorial...I think I should go alone. I'll handle it..." She could see the worry in her mate's eyes. Anastacia sighed gently and nuzzled his maned neck, loving his scent. "How about this...if I do not return in 3 days, come find me." She licked his cheek gently before bolting off toward the forests. For some reason, her heart fell. She wondered if she would ever see Benton again.

Benton sighed and turned around to go back towards Sabastian and Akitana, but the fact that she was going off alone really bothered him. He made sure to notice what direction he was going towards. After he got back to them he cleared his throat, feeling extremly uncomfortable that his mate was going alone. "I'd really love to do something for the pride but right now.. i need to go and take care of something. Sabastian, I'll be back. 3 days.. Right." Raising an eyebrow he nodded down then took off after Anastacia, there was no way he'd be able to let her do that on her own, especially after what happened in her past.

Quarking an eyebrow, Sabatian glanced over Benton. Typically he wasn't one who was worried or nervous about others doing things, unless it was one of his own kids, but something in Benton's voice unnerved Sabastian. "If you feel that..... that it is best, then you must go." He responded with an assured nod. "But remember if you need any help, you do have family here Benton." he added with a warmth in his voice that reasured that fact.

Salania slipped into the den quietly, letting her color slip back into her coat. She kept her eyes downcast, letting her eyes burn holes in the floor as she moved toward the back wall. She was hoping that the wouldn't comment about her anger. Sala laid in the back, closing her eyes tightly.

Akitana blinked as the lioness whirled and trotted away, wondering at the apparent fear in Ana's form, and the strain in Benton's voice. It reassured her little that the large male went with his mate, for they both seemed to be dreading and fearful of whatever lay at the end of their path.
Sending her best wishes- for Aki could wish bad things upon no one- she bowed her head slightly to their retreating backs and bid them a safe return. Turning to survey the Den, she noticed Salania looking particularly upset, and paced over to her.
"What is wrong, Dearheart?" She asked gently. "What has angered you so?"

Salania looked up at her mother, trying to keep the anger from her eyes. "Nothing is wrong, mother." She lied and didn't meet her mother's gaze. Instead she looked past her at her sister and felt her anger spike again. With a barely audible growl, she laid her head back on her paws and stared at the ground as though it was the most fasinating thing in the world.

"I'll tell you something." Aki murmured slyly. "As your mother.. I can see straight through you, even when you aren't being a little ghost.."
She nosed Sala gently. "Come now.. What's wrong? If you can't tell me, we can't fix it.."
Issaria moved into the mouth of the Den, glancing back the way she had come. Benton and Anastacia had passed her on their way out, and both had seemed rather.. Upset? Or at least nervous about something.. Giving a little shrug she flopped just inside the Den, eyes searching the Pride Lands.

"You can't fix it. I have too." She said, raising her head to look at Aki with anger burning in her eyes. "Just because I can turn invisible, doesn't mean I am all the time! I have to show them that!" She spang to her feet, anger running through her like a good drug. She all but vibrated in anger.

Aki eyed her daughter in confusion. "Who said you were invisible? Who do you have to show?"
She wasn't quite sure what had happened to upset her Ghostly daughter, and the way Salania was shaking only made her feel worse. What had she missed?

"No one said anything... that is the problem." Her eyes focused outside the cave. "I don't like it when people ignore me..." She added softly, the anger draining away from her, leaving her feeling hollow. She sank back down ground. "I tried to help Adit, but only he seemed to hear me." She curled around herself, trying not to cry now. "It's like I wasn't even there... but I was... I was..."

Hearing the conversation beteween his mate and one of his daughters, Sabastian glanced over to the two of them and just listened for the moemnt in contimplation. He remembered when he felt like the entirety of the pride lands ignored him. Glancing over to Adit he blinked in displeasure and asked, "Son is that true? Did you ignore your sister?"
"Dad! no, I knew she was there.... I wanted her to try to go back to get help....." he answered in a sigh.... "I guess it didn't help that she didn't understand what my tail flicking back to the den ment." he stated while rolling his eyes.
"You should go over there to talk to your sister to explain why you did what you did my son." Sabastian stated while glancing down to him. "You are still young, you should try to enjoy youre cubhood my son... you shouldn't worry about leading or defending the pride yet..... But I do thank you for what you have done today. now go and talk to your sister..." he stated while nudging Adit over towards the two lionesses.....
Yelping softly he blinked and rolled head over tail closer to Salania and his mother and stopped a few feet shy of the two of them. "Um Salania, I'm sorry for earlier." he stated softly with his head low to the ground as he still sat there on the ground.

Sala blinked in confusion, then glanced at her father. With a small smile, she smlibed back to her feet and closed the space between her and Adit. She nuzzled him softly. "It wasn't you, brother. I knew what you were trying to tell me, but I didn't want to leave you alone with strangers." She looked up at her father, having heard the last of the conversation. "Adit hasn't ignored me, father and he did what you weren't there to do." She added the last softly and dropping her eyes. She nosed Adit again and curled around him.
