((continued from Red Rain)) Ayana paused and turned away, "I understand, Benoni" Her voice was... lacking, lacking her usuall emotionfilled tone. She entered the lands, and continued to walk, eyes set foreward on nothing in particular. She tried really not to think about it but sighed, walking in a steady pace through the thick grass.

"Take a walk. I need my fresh air, ya know?" Cayimmi answered Kila, a brow raised in faked superiority. Actually he was just... irked. No food and no attention? No fun. So, he'd have to entertain himself. The cub headed down to the river's shore, keeping an eye peeled for any morning rodent. Nothing. Zip. "All asleep? Darn!" he grumbled. Even more annoyed, he reached the water border, peering inside.

Benoni sighed, upon entering his lands. He let a roar rip through the silent morning air, his snapped his jaws shut. He watched Ayana continue on forward, he shook his head, branching off. He headed towards the river, the pride would need food soon, he stumbled upon Cayimmi. "Hey Cayimmi." He said with a grin, his masked the torent of emotions running through his mind. "Want to fish?" he asked.
Niobe's ears perked at the roar, it was...snappy. Deciding against leaving the cave once more, she lowered to her belly, pulling the small cub between her front paws protectively. "What is your name?" she asked the small cub, she nuzzled her ear softly.

Angel stoped spinning. "I'm ok! This is fun!" She didn't notice the other cub leave but did notice the new one being brought in. She ran over to the new cub and pounced on her. "Hello I am Angel! What's your name? Lets play!"

Niobe glanced at Angel, she nudged her with her muzzle. "Calm down small one, let her catch her breath. She's new still.." Niobe fluttered her tail so that Angel could play with that until she got food into this small one.

Ayana sighed and walked once again down the line of the river, crossing where it was shallow and laying on the opposite bank. Her eyes filled with tears once more, but she shook them away, the tip of her muzzle falling into the water. Her ears flattened and she stared into the water, her emerald eyes shimmering.

Cayimmi looked over his shoulder as the troubled Benoni came to him, looking right back to the river. "Yeah, but the fish keep fleeing away." he groaned. There was always the detail that his paws weren't wet. After all, the cub had been munching his own conflicts rather than really fishing, and such was easily seen on his face, a frown showing through.

"What is wrong Cayimmi?" Benoni asked as he lowered to his tummy, he glanced at the river, it was fat with fish who were ready to spawn soon. "You tell me your troubles, I'll teach you to fish." He placed one of his paws into the water and left it there, the fish darted away and around it at first. "You have to let them become used to your presences in their world." He said, looked to Cayimmi.

"I'm sorry." Angel sat by the new cub and started licking her face. Then she got up and walked over to Kila and curled up beside her. She then started to purr and rolled back and forth to be cute.

Cayimmi pondered on the offer, lying down and dipping one of his own paws on the river, as Benoni. "I s'ppose it's fair and square..." he mumbled, twitching his flecks, "It's kinda funny though, seems like everybody got a blue start today..." the cub added. The purple one had noticed a certain heavier atmosphere in the air, though more from the emerald lioness than Benoni himself. "Do I have to be obnoxiously cute for everybody to like me?"

She had nearly smiled as she was graced with more soothing words and gentle licks, vaguely reminded of how her own mother had once doted on her. It was... nice.
The tiny cub seemed to shrink into herself at the snappy roar, ears back once again. She was glad for the lioness' comforting prescence as Niobe drew her towards her, but the roar still danced fresh in her mind. What is whoever it was was angry? What if --
At Niobe's question, the kitten looked to the lioness for a moment, ears still back. She slowly shook her head, mouth moving as though to produce words... none came.
After Angel's playful assault, though she didn't mean it in a malicious way, the kitten hardly seemed to know what had happened. She shook furiously, confusion and fear dancing in her eyes.

She nodded, she hadn't any idea what was going on everything was going by so quickly. She had heard Benoni's roar announcing his prescence with the same female again, she lay down confused and a bit dazed as well.

Benoni glanced at his paw, a fat fish rubbed against it. "See...once they get like this..its easy." Benoni quickly moved his now clawed paw into the side of the fish.
He grunted as he withdrew his paw quickly smacking the fishes head against the earth, killing it. "Best to kill it quickly." He noted, he watched the small cub. " I like you Cayimmi, i met a cub the other day...a young male...i didnt like him at all." He nudged the young male with his nose.
"Lets catch more fish, and head back?" Benoni now used both paws to drag fish in on the land. He continued to bring in a couple more now. A good dozen or so, he waited for Cayimmi to bring in his own breakfast.
"Can I call you Fae?" she nuzzled the small cub, she lifted her head and looked at Kila. "It seems my brother is home, wonder where him and Ayana went to.." She tilted her head to the side for a moment.
"You make me think of a delicate faerie." She said as she rolled the small cub over in her paws, and nuzzled her small tummy with a smile. " My brother is home, he shall adore you Fae." She purred as she kept her close to her body for warmth. Hopefully she could hunt later to feed the small dears.

Ayana closed her eyes, lettnig the sound of the running water fill her ears. She really didn't know what to htink anymore, even about herself. THe one memory that she was told by Abasi that she now remembered on her own made her... not really know what to think anymore. Her tail fell from swaying, making a small thud on the ground. the cool water from the river brishing over her muzzle.

She calmed again as Niobe tended to her, the faintest shadow of a smile slinking onto her face in return. She nodded slowly. Yes, Fae... that name would suit her just fine. Not to say any name the lioness suggested would have met any real protest, but the ring of the word appealed to her.
The newly christened Fae slowly allowed herself to relax a ways, exhaustion slowly overriding her fear in the prescence of the kind lioness. She rolled to a side and buried her face in Niobe's fur, tail curling. Worry still plagued the back of her mind, mostly centered around the owner of that roar. But she was just so tired... and if she closed her eyes, for a moment, she could almost imagine she was back home, tucked safely in her mother's paws.
