"Exactly." Kaleb said in an almost exasperated voice, frowning and reaching up to chew on one thumbnail. It was a good thing he didn't drink, looking like a minor would have gotten really annoying every time he went to buy alcohol. Even the most legitimate photo ID would still be rather unbelievable.

Kaleb sighed, letting Reno's gesture soothe his irritation. "I-I should be used to it by now, really." He said, going back to chewing at his thumbnail. He could only vaguely remember telling Reno how old he was when they were out drinking, but that memory was more than a little fuzzy around the edges.

So much for soothing irritation. "You know that's not very nice," he said with a huff, shifting to sit up slightly.

Rude reached out one arm to wrap it around Kaleb too. "Don't listen to him. He's a jackass"

With both Reno and Rude's arms around him, Kaleb had no choice but to settle back against Reno's chest. "I-I'm sorry, i-it's just a bit of a sore topic for me."

Kaleb nodded, at least there was that. "It's not much consolation, but it does count for something," he muttered almost sullenly.

"See .. all nice and good" He leaned back against Rude and tried to stiffle a yawn. He shouldn't be tired after only being awake a few hours or so.

"Good's good though." Then again with how thin he was, even with the muscle, it didn't seem like he ate a whole lot either.

Kaleb didn't reply with anything more than a little nod, but felt some minor irritation rise up again when he felt his stomach growl. It always had to choose the most inopportune moments. Still he only had a small breakfast that morning, and didn't have any of Rude and Reno's sandwiches since it wasn't so good to practice on a full stomach.

"Hungry?" He opened his eyes to look at Kaleb. The blond hadn't gotten any food for lunch so it would make sense.

"A-a little, I guess," Kaleb said, blushing a bit. He could go for at least a week with only one meal a day, and yet it always seemed like his stomach enjoyed complaining at him right when it would be most embarassing.
