Connor accepted Luka's hand and followed her. Hopefully the truck would still be in decent shape when they returned. The mayor wouldn't be repairing it this time, after all.

"They left a few minutes ago," Curtis answered, "away from the river. There's a grassy plain ahead. They may have gone that way." Sensing Katra's discomfort, Curtis bounded away from the flowing water.

Kat smiled and followed Curtis. Releived when they headed away from the freezing cold churning waters. She sniffed teh ground once she caught up with him.
"So theres what...five of them? I think one has a limp..." She commented as she saw a weird patter of hoof prints on the ground.

They walked in silence all the way back to the room. Luka didn't even bother turning the lights on. She could see well enough. She steered Connor over to the bed, shoved him onto the bed and then crawled in next to him. "Damn skank. I promise never to become a moronic whore."

Yakov just looked at Jeff for a moment. "But she...she cheated on me Jeff...shouldn't that tie be broken now?"

Jeff sighed and suddenly felt a lot older than his lover. He wondered at Yakovs up-bringing. He wanted to know how he was raised and what had been exploained to him.
"No, a bond like that never breaks, not untill death, and some people it carries over into the otherworld. Thats why so many weres take multipul human partners, the ties don't exist past friendship, even with intercourse." Jeff shivered, "I don't think I can face her again, knowing this."

Yakov smiled at Jeff. "Well then, I guess you and I will just have to continue defying the rules." He slid onto Jeff's lap. "And if she ever creates problems again, she'll just have to die." He gave Jeff a long soft kiss. "I won't stand for anything that makes you unhappy."

Jeff let Yakov slide onto his lap and welcomed his gentle kiss. He sure was not in the mood for anything too...sexual that evening especially with the conversation they were having.
"It doesn't work that way Yakov," He sighed holding onto Yakov. "I do beleive she is too dumb to realize what power she holds over me but still...If she ordered me to kill myself I would have to."

Yakov let out an extremely angry snarl. "Not if I kill her first." Fury flashed across his. "If there's one things the little b***h is smart about, its Luka. She's terrified of her. She has to know that she has crossed way too far over the line. I don't think she is stupid enough to try to hurt you again." The fury seemed to refuse to die. "But oh if she does..."

Jeff sighed. He had figured Yakov would have acted this way. He figured it was time to change the conversation. He didn't like seeing his Yakov upset.
"I know...I Know...but..." He looked around the truck, "Could we possibly make it up to the room, I am so thirsty and tired..."

Yakov calmed dowm immediately. "Oh my gosh, of course. I'm sorry." He slid of Jeffs lap, went to tilt the seat forward, turned back instead and gave Jeff a quick kiss. They climbed out of the truck and Yakov checked twice to make sure the doors were locked. He slid the keys into his pocket and his arm around Jeff. "So, I've heard that trying to have a normal love life when you're gay is difficult, but man...this is rediculous."

Jeff cracked a small smile. "You think this is bad? I should tell you stories about the crazy fan girls that follow the band everywhere!" They made their way slowly up to Jeff's room. He didn't have keys or anything that he had brought with him from the concert and then it hit him. He froze, his eyes huge and his mouth slightly a gape.
"My...my baby..."

Jeff started to sway. "My baby...my guitar...she has it..." Tears weld up in his eyes. "She has my shirt...my keys...and...and my baby!" He was so glad he kept his wallet in his back pocket with his nice silver chain attatched to his pants.

Yakov grabbed a hold of Jeff and forced him to sit down before he fell. "Jeff, just calm down. Tomorrow I can go and get everything back from her. You don't even have to come. I'll just go and take them and come back and you won't have to see her. I think I can handle her now...now that I know why I..." Jeff looked so miserable that he had started babbling and lost the power of speech altogether.
