Yes, there's nothing quite like buying a Buffalo compas set only to discover that the eraser smudges your paper, the pencil is brittle, and the compas itself falls apart.
New school supplies? Psht. I just look forward to the first month, which signifies the end of warm weather and forces our legal aged youth to wear their short skirts while they can. Wear them girls, and wear them with pride! I salute you! 3nodding

Well everyone, I'm sure you all missed me. I'm back now from a few days in fredericton. Had to pick my girlfriend up at the airport there, then help her move in today. I must say, I thought I'd be more....excited when she got off the plane. I was, but not as much as you might have expected considering I haven't seen her in over a year. But no, I was happy, but not bouncing off the walls happy. It was like, the best day of my life, but you would never have known. I'm not sure...is that good or bad? Probably bad, right?
For a happier topic, I got to see an example of the room I'll be staying in this year. And all I can say is...wow. Chatham hall has some awesome roomage going on. The rooms are as big as my bedroom here at home is, or pretty close to it. Lots of floor space, a bathroom for each room, shared only with your roommate, and did I mention that it was massive? The standard residence room for most universites are wide enough to fit two single beds, and still have enough space in the middle for one person to walk in. And those have to fit two people. My room will be about 3 times that wide. And it has it's own bathroom. How could you not want that room? It was only $300 more than the other much smaller rooms, which is not bad considering. Chatham hall has about 150, or 152 beds in it, and out of the whole school, there's close to 900 beds.
650 people applied to be in Chatham!!! And me and my girlfriend got in, right across the hall from each other. How frigging lucky is that? Pretty damn lucky, in my book.
Another interesting note, Mr. Leahey (sp?) from the trailer park boys was my bus driver from moncton to amherst. Not a word of lie, it was him. Not just a lookalike, cause I wouldn't have recognized him, it was the actual guy, he even said so, and was talking to someone about being on the set of the movie and the filming the series a little bit later in september. I mean, what are the chances of getting on a bus with him as your bus driver? It kind of struck me as odd, but yet, funny. Not only that, but two guys got on the bus and were about to take their seats when a couple of undercover cops got on the bus and pulled them off. They then had them around the corner in handcuffs. About 20 minutes later the two of them were back on the bus, and we left...a bit behind schedule though. Not a problem for me though, I didn't care. Anyway, it was an interesting bus trip home.
I've also come to the conclusion that the majority of people in new brunswick can not drive.

Ihabia I've also come to the conclusion that the majority of people in new brunswick can not drive. That is very, very true. You have no idea how many times I nearly got hit while walking across CROSSWALKS, or walking across parking lots while in New Brunswick.

Slipkn0t Lmao. rofl Buffalo sucks a**. Good thing math is no where near what I'm majoring. If anything at all. What are you majoring in? Math isn't my forte, either. My talents reside in articulating pointless bullshit and arguing. So, I'm working on a major in english, a minor in LWSO (Law and Society), and an eventual trek into law school.

I'm going into art, most likely illustration (advertisements/books etc.). I'd like to go into animation, but I don't have enough motivation for it. It breaks my heart. Truley, it does. Just wondering, do the brunswickans consist of a lot of asian people? We can't drive. It runs in our blood.
