Brandon smiled. "It makes integrating you into the pack easier...although...we could go around him to Katrina...then get her to tell him over the phone. She wouldn't let him be mad at us."

Brandon scooped up Talia and ran the rest of the way to their room. He gently laid her on the bed and kissed the bite mark on her shoulder.

Talia nodded. "Yeah. At least it's not as close as when Kyle changed." She sighed. "This is gonna suck but it'll be worth it in the end." She pulled him in for a kiss.
