I think it's that this thread doesn't generally contain baby pandas so it's not terribly exciting to check. ;o
And dang, Aeo, you DO look like a musketeer. =)

Haha!! Thanks girls. Don't really think I look like a musketeer, but yesterday I got a lot of complements on my outfit, and got called "I look dapper". That really boost my confidence level. Enough so that I told the girl that I'm interested in that I'm interested in her, now it's just a waiting game now. emo

Was bored as hell because I'm home alone. So I decided to straiten my hair. I didn't realize how long my hair has gotten until now.

For being taken on my cell phone, I think this turned out pretty good.
Being in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature makes me happy. <3

Lady Pyre Aeolusis Other than, you know, the lack of having a toilet. sweatdrop I assume you piss standing up, so I fail to see the issue. <.< Pissing isn't the problem it's shitting, I've had on two different trips needed to defecate in the wilderness and it sucks.

So a while back I found a couple of old rolls of film. (lol film) Turns out they were from roughly 98-99. One of the pics was somewhat similar to a recent photo. Go figure.
Then and Now.

s**t, Pazzy. Your cell photos turn out better than my camera photos. Then again, I need to buy Photoshop. The photo-editing program that came with my camera kinda sucks. And the lighting for most of these wasn't ideal. I had this project where I had to hang some poem up in a public place and take pictures as proof, but since I hung it on a mirror, I wound up in the pictures, too. So I figured I'd crop and upload a couple because my photos in here are all old. I didn't think it would be so hard to take pictures in the mirror. If I hold the camera where it is natural, then you can't see my face. But if I hold it down, it takes me forever to get it positioned right. And then I have to look up so it doesn't look like my eyes are closed, and since I'm not looking at the camera anymore, it shakes. The one in the blue shirt I was going to use was all blurry, so I had to upload the one where my hair got cut out of the frame. But I can apparently take really good pictures of tiny things. I'll reiterate the previous sentiment that The UFG really does have the best collection of attractive users on Gaia. (I have no idea who said that originally, but it still holds true.)
I'm really terrible with recognition, though getting better what with having to deal with selling them, but that looks like a Sony Cybershot. If so, try and make sure macro mode is off for distance/portrait shots. (Though you probably already know this.)
Also, a tip I only recently started using... don't just press the button to take a pic. Hold it in slightly so the camera can prepare the auto-focus. Hold it long enough until you hear it stop adjusting, then finish pressing the button. Pre-focus really goes a long way to stabilizing an image.
Either way, very nice pics and A+ panda eraser.

Either way, very nice pics and A+ panda eraser. Thanks, Xan. heart It's actually a Panasonic Lumix. And I did use the auto-focus. I think what happened is just that I moved the camera when I looked up. And I was hurrying to get the picture taken before somebody else came into the bathroom since it was some crazy guerrilla poetry assignment. I could probably take a better one in the mirror at home. Then again, the lighting isn't great in my bathroom, so I dunno. My mom could barely handle an analog camera, so I don't think I can really hand it off to her. I had a brown panda eraser just like that one that I opened. His head comes off. That's pretty morbid. I also love that there is a warning on the label that it has "small parts" and is not suitable for children under 8. I had a collection of novelty erasers when I was 2 and I never put them in my mouth.

Ah, Panasonic, a brand we don't carry. Curses! (Kidding. ^^) Well, what I can suggest is toying around with the settings while you're at home. Sometimes different light options (indoor/outdoor/florescent/native) versus various picture modes (portrait/scenery/action) yield better results than what's expected. (I get far better outdoor shots when using florescent lighting mode, for instance.) Though I'm not sure what options your camera offers, so your mileage may vary.
All I really know is that I've had my camera nearly 2 years now and I'm still finding things out that weren't mentioned in the manual.
I think that has less to do with children under 8 being prone to eating erasers and more a result of our society's ever increasing nature to coddle our youth. When I think about how there's a generation growing that will never truly enjoy Saturday morning cartoons, or see the Trix rabbit outwitted once again, or experience the bumps and scrapes of falling out of trees without being treated like a broken egg... well, I start to lose hope for us all. Kids are resilient. Let them be kids! *endrant*
