Indeed it wasn't easy to show such a vulnerable side of himself. Which was why he was glad that Kieran was so understanding. He knew Kieran had his own demons that he had yet to address. Mostly he was waiting to see if the man would ever confide in him, despite his knowing everything thanks to Abel. Though, he couldn't compare holding himself up to the kind of trauma Kieran had faced. It was a completely different kind of vulnerability.
Sliding off the counter, Jakob did try to move. However his body didn't seem to want to obey. The look he gave Kieran was truly pathetic as was the way he called out to him. He was grateful as Kieran stood from the tub and walked over to him. Jakob leaned against the man as his arm slipped around his waist. His hips ached and his legs felt like jelly. But together they were able to make to the edge of the tub. Hearing the man speak, Jakob nodded his head. "Yes, please." he said, glancing up to meet the man's gaze.
