"It seemed implied that you hated me, really, the way you always yelled." James smiled at Lily's acknowledgement, noticing her own shock at herself for saying such a thing about 'that p***k Potter.' "So...do you think...you and I could be...you know...friends?" he asked hopefully. Even if he was doomed to only be friends with Lily for the rest of his life, at least she wouldn't hate him.

A little amazed at how Sunrise told Black, Melony raised her eyebrows. I always wondered that too! Any girl in Hogwarts would date Remus! But...
Sirius looked at the table. "He's just... Remus... Well..." He was trying to find any way. any other explaniatation to keep away from Remus's 'condition.' "Remus just studies a lot. He thinks he has no time for dating." Ha! That is a way to explain it! Even if its lieing, we have to keep Remus's secret.

"But everyone has time for dating! Even if it's just studying together! It just seems to me like..." Sunrise sighed slightly, "...there's something more in him. Nothing bad or anything, just...different." She shook her head. "Listen to me, I must sound so stupid and ferhoodled. I think I'm going to go outside for a bit, maybe go flying." She got up from the table and left the Hall.
"Where are we going, Lily?" James asked as they left the castle.

Watching Sunrise walk out, it took a minute for Melony to see that she was alone with Sirius. She tried to look around for anyone else, but she couldn't see anyone around her. Alone. With Sirius.
Noticing the same thing as Melony, Sirius smiled. "So it's just us now." He scanned her looks. Long black hair, that looks so soft... He wanted to run his fingers through it. Those gray eyes, they could suck you in. He wanted to fal deep in those eyes. But a bit of his old self came back to him. This girl is just like the others, remember? You just want a snog.

"Well, I should be going." Melony stood up and grabbed her bag. Looking at Sirius's face, he looked troubled. But Melony couldn't help but agree with all of his fan girls, Sirius Black is cute. Black hair, that fell into his eyes... His eyes! They were gray like her's, but they were much darker. Snapping herself out of it, she started to go.
Out of impulse, Sirius grabbed her wrist when she was just about to leave. He stood up and looked down at her. "Um, bye then." He then let go, and she left. Sirius was mentally kicking himself to death. All I could say is, 'Um, bye?!' Am I Sirius Black?!
