He'd arch a brow at the sign, then smirk after taking another bite of the chocolate and munching in the air. Once he was done he'd swallow, inhale slowly, then exhale even slower. He'd of closed his eyes during this process, and opened them again only when he felt content, right after his sigh.

"Aries, eh? So you're a fire type...not a rare type, but a rare sign. It's a pain in the a** to be born on an equinox..." He'd snicker a bit, then bend down while still hovering to grab his book, not from her but instead just able to turn a couple of pages back to show her Aries in the demonic world. It probably didn't help the writing was also in a demonic language...

"All right, so the sign for Aries is the ram, or even the minitour, right? Right. Well, it's more or less the same in our world, though the name's a little off." He'd point to the picture depicting the minitour, though this particular one ought to look familiar to anyone that was familiar with Hell. "According to the Big Black Bible here, if you're of demonic heritage n' you fall under the sign of The Beast, you're about as high up the demon ladder as it get sin terms of hierarchy. Your sign being a Cardinal sign means your power, even dormant, isn't something to scoff at."

He'd remove his hands from the book and begin to float on his back, looking at her with his head tilted back to see her upside down. "So there you go. You're one of us to some extent, n' even if it's just one one-thousandth of your blood, it's powerful. Thing is...your powers resemble Pestilence, and yet your sign shows your more of the War type. Maybe you're just the whole apocalypse rolled in to one individual, waiting to bring about The End at the right time." He'd shrug his shoulders and take another bite of chocolate while closing his eyes, not seeming the least bit surprised by her results.

Nimm listened as he explained. This was an unexpected development that she didn't see coming at all. She watched him flip upside down and take a bite of chocolate. Oddly enough she wasn't really sure how to take teh news, she felt oddly indifferent if not a bit more curious about something. "Would this mean that one of my parents wasn't entirely human?" she asked.

"It is a hereditary sort of thing in 99.9% of cases. Sure, you get the one that's born a demon with human parents, but that's always because some higher-up in the underworld's trying to do something they shouldn't; the whole Child of the Devil thing." He'd take another bite of chocolate, munch and allow this piece to slowly dissolve in his mouth.

"I'm going to guess one or the other has some amount of demonic blood in them...but the further back you go, the closer you'd get to the Big Bad Nasty ever religious person wets themselves at the name of." Finding it hard to savor and talk, he'd just chew and swallow before continuing. "You got a Devil's blood in you, not just a demon's. Dunno which one...given your powers and such...I might just say the Morning Star himself. He's really a good guy at heart, you know...just has some issues with the discrimination in both heaven and in the world of humans." It'd make sense he felt obligated to help and protect her if he was right about all of this...unlike Kain and the others, he took his demon heritage very seriously. If she were indeed of such hierarchy, then he'd no doubt die for her if she asked it.

Nimm's lips quirked in a sort of smile. "I'd bet money that it was my dad." she muttered, wondering which of her parents she'd inherited this little gift from. "You mentioned that it was dormant. whats that mean?"

"Dormant would mean it's sleeping...well, more correctly, it's waiting. If you're showing signs, that means that your power is wide awake, but your ignorance of it is keeping it at bay. Awakening it would require...well, I'm not really one-hundred percent on that one. It's a bit different for every demon; it took the Morning Star's fall from Heaven to awaken his powers. I discovered my own powers separate of those I was made from through experimentation. Then there are some demons that just belch fire and there they have it."

He'd reach over his head and down to the book once more, flipping through the pages again. Again, all of the words may look like gibble babble to her, though the diagrams may help her. He'd take another bite of chocolate, then tuck his clothes in as he hovered upside down. His coat would fall off along with his staff...whatever. He'd just eat some more chocolate and point to the diagrams. "There's different methods for awakening your power. In a way, it'd be your dear father's fault your mother is sick, y'know? Was he just gonna wait until he was on his death bed, and when he saw you one last time just hit you with one hell of a surprise? That ain't healthy..."

"I wonder if he even knew, given the way he snapped and all." she shrugged. Nimm looked at the diagrams, but wasn't in much of a rush to start messing with powers she herself barely understood at the moment. Another thought did occur to her though, as she realized it was getting somewhat lighter now. "The sun will be up soon, do you wanna head back for teh forest or something?" she asked.

"Where we go now is completely up to you. If what I've said is right, I've no right to say where Her Majesty goes and doesn't go. I've no right to advise her, either, but I will forever protect her." He'd float gently back down to the soil and look at the coat...he'd soon tear the sleeves off, making sure he could differentiate himself from Kain as much as possible. He'd take the Grand Grimoire and instead of placing it in to his coat again, he'd close his eyes and focus. The book would soon become a small orb, which the crystal of his staff would soon absorb in to it's center. Now, he simply needed to summon and un-summon the book.

Realizing he'd ate the rest of his...fifth or six bar, he'd pull out yet another and remove the paper, stuffing it in to his pocket in respect of Nimm's garden (rather than tossing it at some bum as usual) and peel back the foil before he'd chomp in to the frozen treat. "So. Where to, Your Majesty?" Again, he took the demon thing very, very seriously.

Nimm smirked. "How about not calling me majesty for starters, please?" she asked. "That just makes me feel awkward." she admitted. She looked to teh house a moment, biting her lip. "If you don't mind the dust and stuff, we could stay inside the house till teh sun goes back down."

"Fine by me...Nimm." Now he felt awkward. He'd shake it off and remove the staff from his back and aim the crystal at the little home. It'd let off a beam that would surround the house, and Singe would soon move the staff to face himself. The house would siphon his life force, allowing it to become what it once was and make him rather tired. He'd place the staff back on...his back, and proceed to slowly make his way to the house giving off a loud yawn on the way.

"No need for the dust n' whatnot; no need to allow it to decay like that. Siphoning energy form an immortal's not gonna do anyone any harm..." Another yawn.

Nimm watched, a bit confused till she watched how things started to repair themselves. She watched him yawn and followed after him after a slight pause. "You like the house, don't you?" she asked, smiling a bit. She thought back to the last time she'd come out this far. It had been last spring, and it was only to get strawberries too. She'd never actually attempted getting into teh house before.

"Huh? Oh yeah. I'm actually quite fond of it; I'm not a fan of big places with expensive crap. I'd rather have some cozy with only the things needed to survive." He'd let out another yawn and push the door aside, though he'd only make it was far as a window. Peering out, he'd soon find himself hitting the floor like a brick. Between the restoration of the house and dawn's effect on him, his body was about as useless as a gun without bullets. He'd manage to squirm enough on the ground to remove his coat, and eventually his shirt, revealing a very well-toned yet pale, scared body.

"If you're all right with it, I think I'll just...crash here. If something happens I ought to be able to draw upon my second worries; I promise you there's nothing to worry about your ma---...Nimm." He'd smile to her and lie down beneath the window and use his coat as a blanket to shield his bare chest, arms and face from the sun. He couldn't help but think a coffin in a cellar would be appropriate for him at a time like this...

Nimm jumped a bit as he hit the floor, not expecting that. She was about to ask if he was alright, before he confirmed it himself. She took note of the scars he had, and briefly wondered what had caused them. Giving a nod she looked to the couch and grabbed a pillow, going over and handing it to him. "There's blankets upstairs still if you want one." she said quietly. She couldn't remember, but she imagined that floor was drafty and none to comfortable.

"I've spent most of my life sleeping in boxes meant for the dead. The floor's about as comfortable as one of them; don't let the cushioning in those damned things fool you! It's too thin to be comfortable...besides, I always preferred those old makeshift wood coffins. Though, there's a story revolving around those I need to tell you someday that involves myself being mistaken for a coffin of drugs and shipped across the world..." Stupid s**t even happened to him on rare occasions. "Thank you for the offer, but this coat's as much as I need. I prefer to go without anything covering me honestly, but I need to keep out of the sun.

He'd take in a deep breath, inhaling slowly and exhaling even slower while he closed his eyes. This was by far the most comfortable he'd been in God only knew how long. Sure, the springs were relaxing, but he was comfortable here with someone he cared about in a home he'd always dreamt of. Sure, the floor scenario could use some work, but even at that...it was like a dream to him.

Nimm nodded and moved to stand up, looking around the room a bit. Things were the same as when she'd run away, save for the fact that her father was contorting in painful muscle spasms on the kitchen floor. Moving to teh side of teh couch she took a seat wither her back against it and took the book she'd grabbed from the library. This wasn't anything as cryptic or important as teh book Singe had taken, but it was still a good story. "Camelot" was scrolled across the cover of the book, and inside it was written in old scroll style. She stayed quiet, picking out the parts of the story she knew, and using teh old pictures inside to fill in the blankets.

It didn't occur to her that she too had stayed up most of the night, and day prior, and she soon fell asleep while reading.

[]†[] Time Skip! []†[]

He didn't sleep much, or at least not as much as he ought to. Still, the sun was beginning to set and that was all that mattered. A good twelve hours...what really surprised him, though, was the little girl passed out on the couch. He'd smile a bit, finding it kind of cute before making sure there was a blanket covering her neck to toe and tucking her in.

He'd take the book from her and go to set it aside before looking at the title of the book. He'd arch a brow and sit on the ground in front of the couch and quickly skim through bits of it. "How the hell'd a book like this manage to hide itself in the...I shouldn't be asking this. After all, the Grand Grimoire was just sitting there!" He'd shake his head, wondering why the hell someone had wrote about that place though. There'd been arguments since the 15th century centered around Camelot's existence, but when you're born well before that century and lived out your life in Britain nonetheless, it's easy to light up other's eyes when you tell them it exists.
