Toole dove and when he got close tot he target, he exhaled a smigen the smoke plumes visible briefly before he cut loose in a reddish orange streme of flame that had black smoke smelling of sulfur.

Toole took a small break after his 5th pass to give his throat a break. "It seems the northern army is about here. They will more then likely attack the forces holding the escape route back to the delta and cut off their retreat. That would be the logical course of action, but they also might sweep down through the city given how long its been breeched. I've about 6 more passes left in me before I must quit or risk being unable to speak for about a week. I'll pick passes with the most targets possible."

Toole stalled into a high overview position before flicking his tail which made him slide in the airsideways before pitching himself forward to dive on the street he choose.

Toole looked back after feeling the weight of Akuma drop off, and he didn't pull out as he wanted to, instead he folded his left wing and gritting his teeth as he reached out and grabbed a passing lamp post. this spun him around, his tail ripping a giant gash in the opposing side of buildings. Once he was turned he folded his other wing and dropped onto street his talons grinding up cobblestones as he slid to a stop. His arm hurt like hell from the force of being pulled nearly out of socket, but he changed momentum and started bacfk up the street towards Akuma.

However those around him impeded his progress, he had to swipe, and blast them away with magic. He came to the realization that he might not make it to Akuma in time to stop those about to kill her. He roared his fury and fought twice as hard vainly trying to put off the same tragic end he witnessed once before.

The group stood over her laughing as they rasied palms to kill her, the arc of lighting crawling up their arms as they prepared a massive amount of energy to make sure this opponent would stay dead. "You killed a good portion of our kin, i would love nothing better then to watch you suffer slowly, but we have business elsewhere."

"YOU HAVE BUSINESS WITH ME!" Sorrow charged out of the shattered remains of a building and leaping over Akuma she cut the first down using his body to shiled her from the discharge fromt he others. She laughed as she spun forwward. She killed to more before she stood facing another who had her dead cold in his sights. She stared him down, and he curved his lips in a smile with Akuma on the ground between them.

Sorrow turned her eyes to look downt he street briefly. "Goodbye..." He sort of furrowed his brow in question, and glanced the same direction Sorrow did just as a street lamp impaled him and sent him flying. Toole stepped up looking rather pissed and worried all the same, he had black marks on his scales, and seemed to be dealing with pain rather well though it was visible in his eyes.

Sorrow moved her sword over her stomach and bowed to them both turnign to go. "Sorrow wait, help me get her up on, if she could have gotten ups he would. I will not leave her here to die, I owe her that much and so do you." Sorrow slid her swords into her belt and reached down and picked Akuma up from under her shoulder. holding her steady she moved around front and picking up on her waist she folded her over a shoulder. "Prolly hurts like hell, but sorry its better then the alternative." Sorrow went the long way by walking up Toole's tail up to his head.

Toole waited long enough covering their postion in a circle of high flames. Before leaping upwards and getting the hell outta there. "Sorrow, have you run into her father at all as you moved through the city?" Sorrow shook her head; "I passed so many vendors fighting i wouldn't know what he looked like, its brutal on the ground and their is no frontline anywhere except the palace. Merril is taking up position there in the courtyard while her heavy hitters try to breech the doors and get in." Toole growled; "We find her father, and we end this once and for all."

Sorrow leaned over; "You can guess where, so get going, he'll take care of Akuma once there."

Toole landed at the spot, and Sorrow carried Akuma down the same way she went on Toole. She drew her swords while balancing Akuma on her shoulder. Stabbing them into the ground she slid akuma down gently to sit against the flats of the blades. She stepped back nodding to Kaos and joined Toole who was keeping an eye out for roving bands of enemies.

Sorrow looked at the shoulder a bit more close and some of the burns on his scales. 'Maybe you should ask for a round of healing yourself." Toole shook his head; "I'm fine Sorrow, once this is over i'll seek the attention i need."

Sorrow turned and walked over pulling her swords out of the ground. "Too many are your sorrows, the dragon weeps at his inferiority, and the questions lead to heartache." Sorrow shook her head; "You asked, you got, figure it out, and you might learn something."

Toole sighed; "Whomever wants a ride has 20 seconds to get on, or they walk the 3/4 of a mile to the palace and through all that flack."

Sorrow shook her head; "Toole felt helpless at you laying there in the street, he didn't want to see you die again, and was unable to reach you in time." Toole growled and took off rather suddenly leaving Sorrow behind.

Toole climbed as high as he dared yet could see the city in slight detail. A rookie empath could feel the hatred and anger boiling out of him. "Sasurei Sasou Lamente." His twin swords were proportional to his size, and he dived on them, wings swept back, and twisting a wing just a bit up the ground began to spiral. The whistling of his blades grew in frequency as the speed passed anything Akuma had felt on any of the passes they made.

The palace stood out the lower they got, toole shot violently left pulling hard up and the groan and popping of his joints fromt he G's he was subjecting them too. His move was to avod a bolt shot up at them as he came around to get back on course and rolling to avoid another shot fired up at him as he pitched into another dive. A sickening relishment, a teasing fancied his angry mind. and the turns got more frequent as they neared the walls and toole leveled out, he moved his swords to point forward and bean to impale those unable to move out of the way in time.

Merrils group fired their volley and Toole rolled over the force causing those bodies on his sowrds to slide back off the end and fling to god only knows. He climbed high a bit and noticed three people at the gate, but he cared less at this point and dove to land in the second courtyard.

Right as Toleranth ran through the gate there was a large blast of light and everyone was gone, and the buildings were fine, "there, you happy?" Ive looks back with a smile and whispers, "this may be a war, but that doesn't mean i'm out to kill as many people as i can." she closes her eyes and the sword stops glowing. she wobbles over to a building and collapses, "go on. i'll be fine. sorry i couldn't help more..."
