Leah shook her head, satisfied that Kailyn was starting to warm up. She herself was going "Lime in the Coconut" with her corner.

Gwin raised her wand, and wiht a concentrated look on her face, she swished it lazily.
The canopy turned to glistening cobwebs, little beads of dew hanging from them. The comforter was now down (goose!) and a moss green. The crimson pillows turned to diasies, and the head-board a tree.
"Back to nature?" she mused, "Not quite what I thought you liked..."
Gwin looked rather suprizedly at her wand. She had named it Rhea. It meant 'Rivers'.
Rhea had a mind of her own sometimes, and this, was one of those times.
In addition, the night-stand was a stump, covered in moss, and inside the canopy, was a beautiful veiw of the sky. (Changes with her mood- Like the great hall's ceiling.)
Rhea grew slightly warmer in Gwin's hand.
"Wonderful."
Looking around, Gwin sighed with glee.
"Well, my dumplings- I'm going to bed."
And promptly dove into her bed, and in a few minutes was whistling in her sleep. (Lightly, mark you!)

Sirius chewed his toast slowly, trying to catch Kailyn's eye. He glanced at his schedule, and then James's. "James...we have the same classes, right?" He confirmed this silently, made sure he had several classes with Moony, and went back to staring at Kailyn.

Lily came down to breakfast, her bag had split for a random reason that she didn't know of and it had taken up her time. A Professor Mcgonagal handed her the scedule and she sat down. Picking up a slice of toast, she started on her breakfast. Her scedule was packed and could have been impossible to do, for the normal person at least. "Well I guess today will be interesting. I've still got to help Sirius." I've also got to explain to James that I won't take any showing off again.

Gwin woke to the sound of mournful croaking. As she sqeezed her eyes shut, hoping it was a dream, she noticed a particularly wet, slimy, and cold spot on her neck. ( eek )
She screamed, and held the thing at arms lenth, before opening her eyes reluctantly. It was a toad.
But not your average, ordinary, GREEN toad. No- This toad was the color of brown moss, and had large, understanding eyes.
Gwin stormed out of the dorm, waving the toad frantacally, by it's chubby little neck.
"Frank! Frank Longbottom! C'mon out here you great chicken!" she hollered.
Once Frank had stumbled down the stairs, Gwin glared at him rather confussedly.
In his hand was a (more green) toad.
"What's all the fuss, now?" he let loose a trembling yawn.
"But- Your- I- But---!" Gwin sputtered, pointing back and forth between the two toads.
"Oh hang it all! Frank, go back to bed." And with that, Gwin swept upstairs, and got dressed.
Once down in the great hall, Gwin was met by a frantic-looking Ravenclaw.
Talos was wringing her hands, looking under tables, and glancing around worriedly. She turned on Gwin.
"Have you seen Kael?" she prompted. Gwin could barely make out the glimmer of tears in her eyes. Talos NEVER cried.
"Can't say that I have..." she said, patting her friend on the back.
"He's a big guy, hard to miss. You'll find him soon enough." she tried to give a cheerful smile. A sudden thought struck her.
"Do you know who's toad this is?" she glanced at the gianormic toad in her arms.
"No- But I know a way we can find Kael now!" Talos snatched the toad, and held it firmly in front of her.
"Oh great grand-mother toad-"
"Oh my gosh- NO TALOS!" shreiked Gwin, leaping to save the fat toad from its fate.
Talos nimblely dodged. "Fine- But can I keep her, at least until Kael shows up again?" she pleaded.
Gwin nodded. She then set off, free of toad, to the Gryffindor table. She sat down, pondering 'Where could the big guy gone off to?'
She then noticed Sirius. Her eyes widened, and her heart began to beat faster.... Before anything else could happen, she turned away.
She spotted the mashed potatoes.
"Blasted beyond me how these things get here at every meal." she muttered. Then, she dug in.
Adina and Ilana bounded up, having noticed the glance.
"See you've got your eye set on THEE prize." Adina said rather girlishly.
Ilana jabbed her sister in the ribs rather hard.
"Gwin, have you heard about the ball?"

Sirius sighed. Kailyn was thoroughly immersed in her schedule (OOC: Crap, that's god-modding. I apologize.) and hadn't seen him at all. He grinned at Gwin. "So, Gwin, you've found yourself a boyfriend, now?" he said, referring to the large, ugly toad she'd been flinging about earlier.

Gwin snapped her head around, away from the Splint sisters, about to retort, and to glare at Sirius. With her braids swinging maddly, she rolled her eyes with practiced ease.
"The toad would make a better one (boyfriend) than you." she said slowly, as if talking to a slug. The twins nodded all the while, knowing how Gwin thought it was witty to play 'hard-to-get'.
Gwin waited a moment, pursing her lips rather like her sister did while she thought. It stung for her to say it, but it had to be done. Feeling color rising ing her cheeks, she qwickly turned back to the Splint sisters.
"No- I hadn't heard of the Ball." She shot a glare at Adina and hissed.
"And I have not got my eye on ANY prize."
Adina smirked.
"Well, you see, there's a Hollow's Eve Ball this year- I think it's suposed to be a Masqurade..." The rest of Ilana's blabbering was lost upon the Rogue. Adina noticed Gwin's eyes glaze over- Probibly thinking about the dark-haired boy next to her and tugged at her sister's sleeve.
"Anyways, talk to you later Gwin!" Ilana managed, before being dragged back to the Hufflepuff table.

A hand was placed gently on Nadia's shoulder. "Nadia, Nadia." The soft voice called to her, "Nadia, wake up sleepy head." Nadia stirred. "Come on Nadi. Time to get up."
"Dad?" Nadia kept her eyes closed, "Dad is that you?"
"Yes it is. Now it's time to get up." Nadia sat up and and starred at her father. His soft emerald eyes filled her with abundant joy. She hugged her father tight, as if he might slip away like a shadow.
"Dad it's really you! It's really you!" Just then the room burst into flames and her father disappeared from her arms. "Dad?! Dad?! Where are you?!" The door swung open behind her. Nadia whipped her head around to find a giant werewolf. Drooling it paced around the bed, its eyes like burning coals. Baring its razor sharp teeth, it launched it self at Nadia. Nadia braced herself and screamed,"DAD!"
"NO!" Nadia sat abruptly in her bed, gasping for air. With sweat beading down her face, Nadia grabbed her pillow burried her face in it. "It was just a dream. It was just a dream." She rocked her self slightly, trying to make the feelings go away. This wasn't the first time she had had this nightmare. It haunted her every night before the full moon. But Nadia didn't want to think about that. She got dressed and went down stairs to the Great Hall. Nadia scanned the room for Gwin, and Leah. Finding Gwin, she sat next to her, and started eating, trying to forget everything about the dream.

Sirius grinned. "Yeah, well, pity the toad that gets stuck as your boyfriend." He sat up a little straighter, suddenly. He had thought Kailyn had turned her head to look at him, but it could have been the girl next to her. He sat up, still trying to catch her eye.

Kailyn had had similar dreams to Nadia's, about her Mum and Da. And, like Nadia, she had not enjoyed them. She woke with a fresh resolve, and with her decision made, she was quite happy; she even hummed a bit as she got dressed. Once at breakfast, she paid strict attention to her food, and when she got it, her schedule. She couldn't resist taking a quick peek at Sirius though - just to make sure he hadn't given up. He hadn't, and she ducked her head once again, whispering to Leah behind her schedule. "Is it just me, or is that Sirius person staring at me again?" She said, annoyed.

Biting back a smart remark, Gwin gave an irritated-annoied grimace of a smile. He couldn't let him see her weak.
Again, she was not a morning person, and the sudden wake was wearing off.
She rolled her eyes at the obviousness of Sirius' attempts at catching Kaitlyn's eye.
"Grife, and I dared to think that James was over-the-top stupid." she muttered. She got up, jerking her head for Nadia to follow suit.
Gwin sat opposite of Leah, a glimmer of sadness in her eye. He'd never notice her.
"So-" she yawned mightily. "Anyone got their schedule yet? Early to get them, the easier they change."
She refered to magically changing their schedules to match- If they did not already.
"Kael?" hissed Talos, glancing under the Ravenclaw table for the umpteenth time. The large toad on the table croaked.
"Not you, silly. I'm looking for my friend!" she explained.
"Looks like Lovegood's talking to animals again. Hoping for an Animagi prince?" Sneered Brian Chang.
Talos' ears went pink. The toad snapped it's togue over Chang's horned glaces, smearing them with slime.
"Good shot." whispered Talos, marching away qwickly, toad in her arms.

Sirius let out a laugh. He had definitely seen Kailyn look at him and hide. "I'm still here, Kailyn," he called, grinning. "I swear, I won't burn your eyes out."

Leah had woken to Gwin screaming a rare girly scream, and a toad on her neck. An amusing start to the morning, indeed!
"James? Stupid? Nah!" Replied Leah, smiling snarkily. "Then again, if James is smart, than Sirius is a genius!" She added. Leah felt it important to back up her sisters, always. Of course, all rogues were her sisters.....
She looked at her schedule, than at Gwin's. "Oh, just one class seperate. Nadia, let's see yours." Leah peeked over at Nadia's then, at Kailyn's. "Okay, Gwin - You and Kailyn are in one division, and Nadia and I are in another. So, shall we have fun with the Slytherins in Potions, or hang with the Hufflepuffs in the Hizzie, or Greenhouse, rather?" She laughed. "I think Potions with the Slythers, since we already have Care of Magical Creatures with Hufflepuff."
She looked at the rest of her schedule. Today was Divination....No, they'd dropped out - Experimentations was double with Ravenclaw on Tuesdays....
