She groaned gently at the voices. Her eyes only half opened, her eyesight blurry. "Mmm..." She managed to let out a low whine. "I do not object..." Her voice was barely audible, her eyes beginning to close again. Her breathing was getting ragged and her throat was extremely dry.

"Very well." He smiled.
Ferrian carried the exhausted lioness to the Den and settled her on some of the hides from past kills, which now kept the cave floor comfortably soft. He fetched one of the dished leaves the Pride used to hold water for sick lions, and filled it from the river, setting the water near her along with a haunch of antelope.

The lioness winced gently. Her tail gently flicked as she somehow got enough energy to get up. Staring into the water, she slowly lowered her head and began to drink it slowly. The meat, however, was what was interesting her. Without another moment's hesitation, she dug her teeth into the meal. Her energy slowly returned as she began eating. After a few mouthfuls of meat, she would go to the water and take a few laps of the cooling liquid. After a long while, the meat was gone and so was the water. The magenta lioness was sitting up licking her paws clean. She stared over at the male that had brought her here. "I...I want to say thank you for helping me. I owe you my life, I am in your debt." She bowed to him, full of respect. "Name what you want and it shall be done..."

"A king is not great and kind for the rewards it will bring him, a king is great and kind because it is what is in him, for him to be. I am what I am, and ask nothing my lady.. Do you have a name?" Ferrian rumbled, giving a slight bow.
The lesson he echoed was one of the first his father had taught him. One of the first codes, or rules of being a Prince, King, or Leader. 'You are not what you are because you want the rewards, but simply because it is what is in you to be.'
"Sano... Could you go fetch my lady for me?" He rumbled to the young cub.. "I believe she was seeking me out earlier."

She gave a gentle smile. "You truly are a wise leader..." Her flakes gently waved as her ears twitched. "My name...is Leanna...and you, kind sir?" She rose from her bowed state and twitched her tail. Taking in the details of the cave, she gave a gentle sigh of relaxtion. This strangely felt like home...like she should stay. Her eyes turned back to the male infront of her. "If I am not being too forward...I wish to stay. Something tells me that I should stay...will your king be displeased? If so, I can always leave." She looked past his frame to the entrance of the cave, the savannah seeming a little deadlier than usual.

Sano gave a nod to Ferrian, and bowed to the new lioness. Bounding out with his cub energy, he hopped out to go find Lady Wistaria, Ferrian's mate. As he skittred out of sight, he thought back to the first time he met her. She seemed quiet, but he had a feeling that she would lead them as well as Lady Fayloa had, a time ago. If not better, than she had. Shaking his head to chase those thoughs away, he hurried to find Lady Wistaria.

Watching Sano dart off, Ferrian smiled and turned back to the lioness.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Lady Leanna, I am Ferrian, Crown Prince and acting King for Cyan Serenity.. The Pride welcomes you if you so wish to stay, and our King.." He bowed his head.
"My father is not well, and will probably not be King for long.. The loss of his Queen wounded him greatly, and if his heart can pull through, he will not want to lead without her by his side... And it will fall to me."
He faced her with a smile. "So please, do us the honor of calling you Pride Sister, Huntress, and friend. Welcome. My Queen will be along shortly, once young Sano finds her."

"Likewise, and...I am sorry to hear your loss, Sir Ferrian...The loss of a loved one, especially a mate, is the toughest feeling on earth. I feel the same hurt everyday...I even wonder if I have a heart anymore" She stared into nothing it seemed thinking about her two lost loves...shaking her head, she gave him a gentle smile. "But enough of sadness. I hope your father will pull through this atleast. It would be horrible to lose him, since you have just lost your mother...I will do what is needed of me. I can hunt, watch the cubs...anything just ask." She got up and stretched. Noticing how filthy she was, the female gave a gentle sigh. "If I may...where can I find the nearest water hole? I am in need of a thorough cleaning..." Leanna looked over her dirty body with her many cuts and bruises. The one shining scar upon her left thigh was now dull and barely noticable under the dirt. Even though Leanna was tired, she wanted to start over her life. Third times a charm...right?

With a small smile, Ferrian gave a nod. Turning, he gestured with a paw at the falls. "If it pleases you, the lower of the falls there, is a nice wading area.. Most enjoy it, or you could use the river... "
He turned. "I'll be up at the King's Pool, if you have need of me."
With a bow, he took his leave, moving up to the higest wading pool and the largest of the falls, where it would be easy for him to watch for Wistaria.

She smiled gently. "Yes, that would do nicely. Thank you once again, Sir Ferrian." Leanna bowed to him and then stepped away. Soon, she reached the falls. The breathtaking view of it all seemed to overwhelm her. Sprays of the water gently brush against her fur as if to taunt her of the joy in a swim. Giving in, the lioness jumped into the water, the clear liquid coming over her body. She swam around, the dirt and dried blood soon coming off her fur revealing the real color. Her scar glowed silver gently as she came back toward the shore. Leanna shook the water off her fur, coat now clean. The lioness began to groom herself, drying to dry off as much as she could. This place was truly paradise...yet there was a mournful glow tainting it...she sighed gently looking up to the sky. "Fates...why have you brought me here to stay? What am I do to with this broken pride...when I myself am broken..." She sighed gently looking down. "Fates...help me to bring this family back together...as well as mend my heart...

Wistaria was making her way back towards the den, steadily. A sudden fleck of familiar blue-gray some distance off, but quickly growing closer, caught her eye. Sanoshi?

Sano scurried across the lands, looking for Lady Wistaria. Climbing on to a rock, where he knew he could see her, he spotted her fimilar coat. Jumping off the rock, he ran through the thicker grass to get to her, popping out right before her, he grinned, and bowed.
"Lady Wistaria, Ferrian wants you. He's at the King's pool."

Watching Leanna give into the crystal water's call, like all lions did in Cyan Serenity, Ferrian gave a smile. He stepped into the King's Pool, sighing as the sun warmed water soothed his paws. The falls he knew were cooler, but he was content to pace in the warmer shallows for a few moments, and look down the falls and river's path.
He knew Sano had found Wistaria by now, and soon she would be at his side, and the thought gave him comfort.
Even as he wondered where his brother, Inishiro, had gone.
"Sun Antelope." He grouched. "Where have you gone now Ini?"

Wistaria took a step back as the kitten darted through the thicker portion of the grasses, smiling warmly at him. Cubs always had a way of endearing to her, and Sanoshi was no exception. "My thanks, young Sir Sanoshi."
Her course settled, the violet lioness was quick to head straight towards the King's Pool.
A pair of eyes came to fall on Leanna from a distance, a faint frown spreading across the cub's muzzle. Tengai had come for a quick dip in the waters, hoping to take his mind off of things (at least for awhile)... but he hadn't expected to find a strange lioness there.
He hesistated awkwardly. Usually, he wouldn't have hesistated to go bounding over and chirp a hello (and find out just who she was). But with all that had happened, he hadn't exactly been his typical pinnacle of curiousity. He almost wanted to turn around and walk off like he hadn't seen her in the first place.
... but weak as it was, curiousity still won out in the end. He stepped lightly forward. "Um...?"

Sano gave a bow, and watched as Lady Wistaria head toward the King's pool. He gave a cubbish grin and darted back through the thick grass, heading toward the waters where Lady Leanna was. Doing all this running aroung was making him very hot, and he wanted to go for a dip, and talk to Leanna a litle bit. Try to figure out a little bit about her, since she had arrived so strangly. Grinning, he spotted the waters and with a spirt of energy, he raced over and lept in, the cool water rushing over him.
