Chand Orion Chand was saddened to see Scarlet leave, but he couldn't go with him since his friend said he was returning to his own dorm room. He had to assume he was on his own and he wasn't invited to go to see Scarlet's dorm room. Hopefully he would get to see the room someday, but not today apparently. For now he will work on moving on from the fact that animals just don't like him and they ran away because of him.

Chand Orion Chand didn't know when he will be seeing his friend, it could be days special place to meet up at. Except for the dorm room that he lives in with his brothers, but he isn't there all the time like now. He does have to return there to sleep after all, he live out in the forest anymore. After walking for a while he decides to head on back to campus. [exit]

Chand Orion Chand walks with his friend to the forest like they did yesterday. He doesn't expect animals to like him because there wasn't any progress in improving the interaction last time. He stops once they have walked past the entrance of the forest.

鶴∙[Scarlet came to the forest with Chand. He looked at his friend curiously once they were there. "Where to first?" he asked with a smile. Chand was the tour guide. He felt like it was a good idea to come back after studying. They could relax and ease up after the work. They had already seen the animals before.]∙鶴

Chand Orion Chand recalls the clearing where Scarlet interacted with the animals and the small waterfall. "I will show you the oldest tree in this forest" he said before leading his down a part off to the right. He assumed it would a place to go to start off this tour. Although it is going to take a while to get there since its towards the other side of the forest despite Chand leading his friend on a short cut there.

鶴∙["It's probably really big, huh?" many of the oldest trees were pretty big. He wondered how Chand checked the age. Did he guess it or did he actually take measurements? "Do you know what type of tree it is?" he asked, "Though I guess I'll see it eventually." There was probably a lot of wildlife in it. It would be fun to check out. Would it be sturdy enough to climb? It had been a while since Scarlet climbed a tree.]∙鶴

Chand Orion Chand let Scarlet ask his questions during their journey to the oldest tree in the forest. "Yes, you will see for yourself" he said to him. Knowing about this tree pretty much clues in how much time he spent in the forest last year. Ten minutes later, Chand leads Scarlet down a different that goes past the clearing they were at last time. They about half an hour left before reaching the large tree with vines hanging off its branches.

鶴∙[Scarlet was wondering if his friend was in low spirits. They had gotten into a couple of fights and Chand got pretty upset in the library. Was he even in the mood to going to the forest? Scarlet hoped that this would cheer him up a bit. Maybe they should part ways to give him a break after this. They could just be spending too much time together. Chand Orion Chand wonders if Scarlet was thinking fo ditching him again in the forest after he shows him the tree. He would start to think that his friend thought of him of too depressing to be around if that were to happen. He was surprised that Scarlet hadn't tried to spark a conversation with some more. "Why did you want to be friends with me, Scarlet?" he asked side glancing at him.

鶴∙[It was good he took some interest in talking. He felt encouraged that he initiated it. "Well, we were acquaintances first so I got to know you. I kept hanging out with you and I thought you were interesting so the next step is being friends" he answered. If they were still considered acquaintances after all this time it would be weird.]∙鶴

Chand Orion Chand listens to his response to find out they had became friends when the get to know part was over with. "So the next step would be good friends then?" he asked side glancing at him as they past the halfway point to the old tree.

Chand Orion Chand thought of over the possibility of the next step being best friends and he wonders if they will ever make it that far. "Well, it makes distance unlimited once commit is made. Would you really be ok with being best friends with me?" he asked looking at him more this time. This was the best way to find out what Scarlet thinks of him.

鶴∙[Scarlet fell silent. It was a difficult question for him. "I don't know. It's practically new to me. I used to have them when I was younger but... ever since I left the village most best friends I made ended up becoming my lovers" he averted his eyes embarrassed "I wasn't that close to my friends so I haven't really had a real best friend in a long time. I wasn't able to make the commitments." He usually had to sever contact with his friends eventually so he wasn't that close to them.
"Do you want to be?" he asked finally looking back at him. Did Chand even enjoy being with Scarlet? They got along well but recently he felt like all he could do was upset Chand.]∙鶴

Chand Orion Chand listens to his good friend's plight of what usually happens when he has best friends. "Sure, you don't have to that happening with me" he promises him. He had given up on the possibility of getting past the friendship zone with Scarlet, he convinced him its for the best to avoid such commitments because he wouldn't want to tie his friend down if he needed to go travel someplace far away. "When you graduate from this school be sure to write back letters when you go back out there to the world"he said to him.
