"no no no .. i was just thinking of one of the other's that lives at the castle. He can sneek around really well so i was thinking that even without the place being big it might be easy to miss everyone else"

"Oh," Kaleb said quietly, still looking sheepishly at his book. "I've never lived with anyone other than my family, and it's been a long time since I've lived with them. It must feel odd to live with people you don't know, and possibly haven't ever seen."

"I dont really think about it." She shruged. "I've got my family there and the other's are either fun or they are hiding away so i guess it's never really been a problem"

Kaleb idly traced an intricate diagram in his book with one finger, glancing up at the barrier keeping them dry. The rain hadn't ceased yet, but he didn't mind. "Do you know if Demyx, Luxord and yourself are the only ones in your family who can do magic?"

"Dont know." She scrunched her nose as she thought about it. "I dont think Vivace has ever thought about it and if Requiem does it's probably something nasty and i dont see the other girls enough"

Kaleb kicked his legs a bit more, his toes creating little scuff marks in the ground. "If they did know magic, you'd have someone to practice with at home too." He grinned. "Magic is much easier to study in large groups."

"I'll have to see about it. My brother's and sisters arent really friendly with eachother, cep Viv but he's too much of a spaz for me to want to trust him with magic."

Kaleb thought about that for a minute. "If he would be interested, I'm sure there's lots of harmless magic he could learn. Besides, it might give him something to focus his energy on."

"I think i'd rather give him a squeaky ball." She giggled and pulled her legs up under her to sit cross-leggged. "He couldnt hurt anyone too bad that way"

Kaleb blinked. "I bet if you gave him a shiny squeaky ball, it would definitely be better entertainment than magic." Her actions reminded him of his own sitting preference, and he also tucked his legs up. It was likely he would sit that way until they went numb again.

"I should look for one. Maybe a shinny gold ball that i can toss down a hallway and see how many walls he hits while chasing it." She grinned. "Yea, i think that's an idea"

Kaleb almost laughed a bit himself at that thought. He couldn't really imagine Demyx bouncing off the walls going after a shiny ball, but perhaps that was a factor of age and experience. Or perhaps he didn't know Demyx well enough.
