By the time Kaleb returned he was flipping an omlet out onto a plate and had a few slices of hot toast. Turning to look at Kaleb one brow raised over his glasses. "You look better"

Kaleb smiled a bit. "I-I feel better, thanks." He slipped past Rude to get out some cutlery, but then he paused with one hand on the drawer. "Did you want anything? A drink or something?"

He shook his head and held up a half empty glass of water. He'd gotten what he wanted plus he'd had his own breakfast before leaving Reno's.

Kaleb blushed a bit, he had missed noticing that, but he was glad Rude had been able to find the glasses without a problem. He quickly pulled out a fork, and took the plate over to his small and somewhat wobbly table. "I-I'm sorry, I probably should have eaten something before you stopped by," he said timidly, hesitating before touching the wonderful-smelling meal in front of him.

He shruged. Cooking wasnt all that much of a bother for him so it wasnt like it was an inconvieniance.

Kaleb was hungrier than he thought, managing to get through most of the omelette and two slices of bread before setting down his fork and deciding it was enough. He was somewhat surprised Rude had stayed, but he decided not to bring that up. "Thanks again, for the meal." Kaleb said timidly as he got up and set the plate down next to the sink.

"Sounded like you needed it." He had heard at least half of the conversation between the blond and Reno.

Kaleb nodded, not looking up from the plate on the counter. "Thanks for coming to see me, I-I really appreciate it." He glanced up quickly, looking a little concerned. "I-I don't want to keep you too long, Reno said you needed to go grocery shopping..."

He nodded. "Usually do on my days off." He generally only stocked enough food for a week or so since he wasnt at home all that often

Kaleb bit his lip a bit, he felt worse having Rude drop by on a day off, when he would probably rather do other things. "D-did you want help?" He asked quickly. If he helped Rude collecting groceries, it would go faster and maybe make up for some of the time the larger Audio had spent at his apartment.

He raised a brow as Kaleb offered to help him. Generally if he even suggested Reno help he got laughed at, but then again if Reno had any thing other than beer or alchol in his appartment it was a miracle.

Kaleb fidgeted nervously, with the raised eyebrow over the glasses as his only clue to what Rude was thinking, he had no idea if it were a positive or negative reaction. "I-I would like to help, if I can." He replied. The mage was completely honest, he really did want to help, and grocery shopping wasn't much of a chore.

"If you want to carry bags." He had use of one of Rufus' cars but it was back at his home. He'd have to take Kaleb back there to get the car.

Kaleb nodded, he wouldn't mind carrying bags at all. Although he certainly wouldn't be able to carry as much as Rude. The thought of being able to help lifted his mood slightly, he would be able to repay the other for his kindness, the grocery shopping had always been a relaxing activity for him, and if he went along it meant he wouldn't be left alone again quite so soon.
