That's not pre-Wanted material, Rolf. It wasn't a bunch of people being purposely malicious, it was just a case of stupidity grouping together and enjoying itself for awhile before being sent to a place it better fits, like the Chatterbox.

Perhaps the correct term is not so much 'purposely malicious' as it is 'constantly malicious'. The people you mentioned as people we might want to watch were swift.the.fox, Vice_Master04, Crazy Nick, mankvill, Tetsuya Normura, Zchen, SB992, Dashren Nolan, Seabeast13, and Inmate#666. I've never really seen swift.the.fox, mankvill, Zchen, and Inmate#666 around, so I can't comment on their general behavior. Tetsuya Nomura has a storied history here in the pre-Wanted list, so I don't think it's any question that he belongs on the list. Vice_Master04 and Dashren Nolan I have seen around, and from what I've seen they are generally agreeable people. Crazy Nick and Seabeast13...I really have no idea how you're putting these two in the same league with Tetsuya Nomura. Crazy Nick made one post insulting the idiot creator of an idiotic thread; I do not feel that is at all grounds for making him someone to watch, particularly when he acts fine in threads of a non-idiotic nature. Seabeast13 essentially was commenting on the pictures with the exception of two posts, one of which wasn't even that insulting. Judging from what I've seen, Seabeast is agreeable in normal discussions as well. In SB992's case, he was indeed spamming and pretty off-topic, as he said himself by declaring the thread a wannabe chatterbox, but he's a Paladin. That makes him a moot point, for his conduct will be judged by the High Council.

We are Paladins; we have an obligation to act more upstandingly than your average member, to aid newbies, and to help the mods control threads like this. We are required to try to correct the wayward individuals in the forum. But, we can't make everyone a perfect little angel and we shouldn't try. People are going to flame stupid threads, and 99% of the time those stupid threads (and their stupid authors) are going to deserve it, whether the thread was created jokingly or not. This was a stupid thread, and a few folks who have been alright people in generally non-idiotic discussions flamed it. Some of them may have gone too far, yes, but the idiot posted at his own risk; I feel he deserved to get burned for it.

Maybe not. But if you really want to go around hounding every person who's ever flamed an idiot for his idiotic thread, good luck because you are going to have to hound every Paladin, every VGD poster, and perhaps even yourself.

Very well. If you want to watch them, watch them. Just don't expect me to until I see what I believe to be good reason to do so. Did you try telling any of these folks (nicely) that what they were doing wasn't really beneficial to the forum? I think that kind of step should be taken before you bring them to the attention of the list.
