When I search for my username in the member list of the guild, I come up as a non-member. why is that?? question question

So many locked threads lately. I'm reluctant to accept some of the join requests sometimes because people write such dumb things, and you can just tell there going to go and break the rules as soon as they get in...and of course, that's what happens.
Too bad there wasn't some way to prevent anyone from posting until they've at least clicked on the thread with the rules and such in it.
