Well, now what was he supposed to do? Connor's head spun as he eased down to sitting on the floor and heard the shower start. The lack of steam told him that it was cold water. They only had one more day until his first transformation which, while he was NOT looking forward to it, seemed to be the understood night that the two of them would finally be free to each other. But could they last?

"Come on, it's just a little ways to my office," Curtis encouraged as he opened Katra's door. He moved quickly so as not to let her fall out. "And we won't even have to stop by the house before we go this afternoon. I got everything together and in the trunk while you were in classes this week. Less waiting for us." He smiled, trying to be encouraging as he walked her to the office.

Luka literally crawled out of the bathroom soaking wet. She peered around the corner and saw Connor sitting by the door. She continued crawling and plopped onto the floor next to him. "So...yeah."

It was hard to hear Luka with her words muffled by the floor, and it was also difficult to not laugh at her while she lay there, still and soaking.
"What are we supposed to do until tomorrow night?" he asked the wet lump that was Luka.

Luka tilted her head towards him. "Well, seeing as how this is the second cold shower I've had because of you, I'd say I have my routine down. I suppose I could just convince myself that you are perfectly capable of making these decisions, but I won't because I'm too stubborn and even I can't convince me of anything."

Kat tried her best to stand up straight and walk like a normal person. She almost fell over a few times and wondered if this was what it was like to be drunk. Once in the office she smiled. "You...think of everything, don't you...or maybe it's just because you want some..." She laughed as she walked over to his desk and slumped down onto the floor near it. It was too much for her to stay awake and her heavy eyelids finally surcombed to sleep.

Jeff's sleep wasn't filled with nightmares for once. Instead he snored and a little dribble of drool slipped down the side of his chin.

It seemed that Jeff was sleeping alright, so Yakov crawled of the bed. He went to the sink and had a glass of water and then headed into the bathroom.

Jeff climbed out of bed. Attempting to get to his wrists was not working, at all. He looked around for his razors and noticed they were gone. The only thing left was his last plan. Jeff walked over to the window and started to pull the screen off. He'd promised himself this after what she did, what he alowed her to do. He was only a danger and a burden to Yakov.

Yakov came out of the bathroom to find Jeff starting to climb out the window. "Jeff! What the hell?" He ran to the window, grabbed Jeff around the waist and pulled him back into the room.

Jeff faught back against Yakov, shouting, "Stop! Let go of me! Let me go!" He kicked back at Yakov and clawed at the arms around his waist.

Yakov threw Jeff to the ground and sat on top of him to hold him down. Jeff was still fighting him so he smacked him across the face. "Damnit Jeff. What do I have to do to prove to you that I love you and want you to live?"

"Why do you love me?! Don't love me! I've done nothing for you! I don't deserve you! I don't deserve this life!" Jeff yelled back at him and tried to squirm away but Yakov was firmly planted on top of him.

Yakov leanded down and grabbed Jeff's face and forced him to look at him. "You really want to know why Jeff? Before you, I was misserable. Before you, I was just wandering around looking for new girls to score with. You, however..." Yakov took a deep breath. "You are happiness. In your arms, I feel at home like I was made to be there. Everytime I look into your eyes I see happiness waiting for me. You are my happiness Jeff. How dare you try to take that away from me?"

Jeff burst into tears and clung onto Yakov. "I'm so sorry!" He sobbed as he looked into Yakov beautiful eyes.

He was somehow more comfortable with Katra sleeping under her desk than in his car. Curtis shuffled around his office, getting things ready until it was time to leave for his first class.

Kat blinked slowly and registered where she was. She could sense Curtis moving about the room and guessed class hadn't started yet. She crawled out from underneath the desk and sat down and yawned. "When does class start?..." She rubbed her eyes.
