Annabelle looked up at Darren, cracking her neck a bit. Rubbing the back of her neck, she chuckled nervously. "Uh yes. At my house. What about you? Did you eat already?" she asked, ignoring Alex's snickers and his pointing finger. "Now now Alex! Don't you know that pointing is a no no?" Kyle said to Alex from Annabelle's peripheral even though she saw that he and Steph had a wide smirk on their faces.

Darren shook his head, "N...no not yet, that's why I asked you". Darren looked down at the little boy who was giggling like mad. He had to admit, when he got married he wanted a son just like Alex. He was such a cute kid, he just wanted to hug and squeeze him.

Annabelle smiled up at Darren and got up off the step. "Well then we should get you something to eat. Come on," she said as she reached forward and took his hand, entwining her fingers around his and pulled him up. She led him to the kitchen, which she founf easily thanks to Alex who took her other hand and led her to the kitchen with Kyle and Steph whispering in the back. Annabelle knew all too well what they were talking about but she did not care. At this moment, his hand felt perfect in hers. "Auntie Anna? Is Uncle Darren your new boyfriend?" Alex asked as they walked into the kitchen and he took a seat at the table. Annabelle blushed a small shade of pink and looked down at hers and Darren's hand. "No Alex. We're just friends," she replied then let go of Darren's hand and went to sit beside Alex, hugging and tickling him playfully. Alex giggled hard as he squirmed under Annabelle's hands. The boy was so cute when he's ticklish.

Darren smiled at the little boy, he was just so cute and he couldn't help but smile when he was around him like this. But his breakfast was getting cold fast, slowly eating what he had on his plate and sucking down a glass or oj, Darren whipped mouth. When the little boy asked if Annabelle and him were boyfriend and girlfriend, he was quiet amazed that the little boy even understood what that meant, it made his stomach a bit tense. But it didn't make him love children any less.

Annabelle was beaming down at her godson (yes she is his godmother). He was just so cute and knew how to light up a room, just like his mother. Looking up at Steph, Annabelle smiled at her lightly. The girl returned the smile, but Annabelle knew it was for a whole different reason. "Auntie Anna! How come you and Uncle Darren aren't boyfriend and girlfriend?" Alex asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist. Annabelle did a little aw under her breath and hugged him back. "I don't know what you're mommy is teaching you!" she glared up at her best friend then looked back down at Alex. "But Auntie Anna doesn't want to hurt Uncle Darren like she did all her other boyfriends," she explained. "But do you like Uncle Darren?" Alex asked, his puppy-like blue eyes stared up at Annabelle like X-rays. She looked over at Darren for a quick second then looked down. "You're just like your mother! So nosy! Why don't you play!" she said with a laugh and pulled Alex's arms from around her waist. Alex pouted then jumped off the chair and ran to Darren. "Play with me?" he asked in his cute little three-year-old voice. She had to admit, from her angle, Darren looked like the perfect father type with Alex standing beside him at the counter.

With all the question that the little boy was asking, it seemed apparent to him that Steph hadn't missed a step explaining things to her son, when Alex ran over and begged Darren to play with him, his heart just seemed to melt. Bending down Darren picked up the little boy with ease, "Hm what should we go play", he thought for a moment then looked over at Kyle, "How about we go and wrestle with Uncle Kyle, you know how big of a softy he is". The little boy smiled and nodded his head, placing a finger on his lips Darren tried to keep the little boy quiet as they went to go find Kyle.
The thoughts that ran through his mind just before he ran off to go help Alex go beat up Kyle was when the little boy had attached himself to Annabelle's legs. For that brief moment, it looked as if Anna would be the perfect mother figure someday.

Annabelle could not help laughing as Kyle screamed like a little girl and ran off away from Darren and Alex. Alex was laughing uncontrollably as he ran off, chasing after Kyle. Annabelle looked up at Steph as she made her way over to her. "So best friend! What's on your mind?" the girl asked. Annabelle looked right at her friend and sighed. "None of your concern. I'm going outside for some air," she said as she got up and walked out the back door and stepped into the backyard. She had to admit, his was better than hers.

Darrn yelled as he tackled Kyle "Get him Alex". Alex giggled as she started to tickle Kyle. "No stop, this isn't far. Two again one".Kyle laughed like an idiot as the little boy kept tickling him, Darren laughed to as his friend begged for them to stop. Several things hand fallen but Darren's mother just shook her head and went to go sit with his father in the living room.

Annabelle sat herself in the shade of the fence on the other side of the yard. She took deep breaths, taking in the sweet scents of Darren's mother's flowers. Jeez this garden was so much better than hers. The grass here was green green green. While at hers, you could see some brown here and there. The heat was bothering her a bit, but she didn't mind. The peace and quiet was good for her right now. She actually needed some time alone. Inside though, Annabelle could hear the giggles and laughter and playful screams from the guys, most of them coming from Kyle though. But whenever she heard Alex, she could not help but think about Darren and the way he looked like a father.

Darren fell hard to the ground, panting he sighed, "Kid your gonna kill me, I don't know how you do it or where you get it but you have a lot of energy". Darren smiled up at the ceiling, his chest heaving up and down. Alex just giggled and sat on his chest, "Because mommy gave me sugar before we left the house" the little boy giggled as he poked Darren stomach, making Darren laugh softly.

Annabelle took another deep breath. She could not handle the silence, but it was peaceful all the same. Then suddenly. "AUNTIE ANNA!!!" Annbelle jumped at the yell. It was so not expected. It took her a moment to realize that it was Alex calling her. With a sigh, she got and walked over to the house again. When she came into the room where Alex was, Steph was laughing hard to herself. She then turned her eyes towards the guys and raised her eyes. "Auntie look look! I pinned Uncle Darren down! Want a go?" the cute boy said. Annabelle grinned at this, looking at the guy he was sitting on. "Do I want a go? Do you think Uncle Darren can handle me? Cuz I think he'll lose!" she said, winking at Darren.

Darren laughed, "Well I just think Anna is saying that because she's afraid of me. Oh maybe she's the one that's afraid she might lose". Darren started to tickle the little boy his chest, making sure that he couldn't get away. "Auntie Anna, help me. Help!". The little boy screamed for her, his hands reaching out for her, but he was giggling all the same.

Annabelle grinned brightly at Alex then shook her head. With one last deep breath, Annabelle went in. "Oh don't you dare tickle torure my godson!" she cried out as she grabbed Alex but as she tugged she slipped on the rug and fell on top of Darren. "Ow where did that rug come from!" she groaned then looked to her side. She was so close to Darren now. A smirk. "You're screwed!" she whispered as Alex cheered her on as she wrapped an arm around Darren's shoulders and then started poking his side. "Go Auntie Anna!" Annabelle laughed hard as she started to tickle Darren, sitting on his lap now.

Darren laughed like a mad man, "Alright you asked for it little girl". Darren laughed, turning on his side her tried to pin Annabelle down. Though he was doing well in the field of tickling her, he hoped that her sides were as ticklish as his were. "Alex you next little man. Alex screamed and ran behind his mother, Darren only laughed harder

Annabelle was doubled down laughing now. "Ugh who are you calling a little girl!" she said through laughs as she struggled to get out of his pin hold. But it was no use and she could not stop laughing. She looked up into his eyes. "You are so going to get it!" she said as she fumbled to the side and pinned him down now. She was now poking at his sides again, her legs at either side of him. "Go Auntie! Go!" Alex cheered from behind Steph and Kyle.
