Everyone believes that love is one of the things that you cannot live without. Well at least most of them. She hates all things involing love, except the love of her family. But all the stuff lovey dovey, she makes sure that she keeps away from it. She has seen love, and has seen what it can do to people. That is why she makes sure that she stays far away from it. Sure she has been in a few relationships, but she has made sure that she ends it right when she thinks that is going too far as to come ot the whole love thing. What she doesn't realize that the only reason why she is keeping away from love, is because she is afraid of getting hurt. After so long of seeing love, smiling when it all goes well but then feeling her expression drop because of the pain she sees after a while, she is not risking experiencing love just to try to see what it feels like. That is until she meets him.
He is a music man. Love the music, live the music. And the fact that love is part of music, the whole love songs and all that jazz, just makes him realize that people cannot live without love. He too has seen love in person. He thanks his free spirit parents for the experience of love. Unfortunately, he hasn't really experienced love himself. Relationship after relationship, he has always found himself being the one hurt. All the girls he has gone out with have either cheated on him or has fallen out of "love" and decided to end it before he gets hurt. Too bad he was already hurt when that girl ended it. But he is not going to give up until he meets "the one". And then he meets her at a small town concert. After one conversation with her, he finds that they have so much in common. From their love of music, to what they do on their spare time. Could she be the one for him? But the big question is, will she find it in her heart to let him in? Will he the one to show her that there is more to love than just heartache and that you just need to take a chance because love is the best thing that can happen to someone? (Yeah I know that's corny but come on, corny is love!) Well there is only one way to find out, and it's through you...

I want at least one or two paragraphs with five or six lines in each.
Only post in 10 or 11 size font, anything over those sizes will not be acceptable
No chat speak, L33T speak, *movements*. Word out movements and use proper english by giving me complete senteces.
When dealing with writer's block, I'll allow one paragraph with four lines. But if you dare continue with the writer's block post, you're out.

A little about her:
~ Born and raised by her mother
~ Father left after she was born, for another man

Love Experience (the people they have seen to make them feel this way about love):
1) Mother: Was madly in love with her father but she was left hearbroken when he left her
2) Father: Left her and her mother for another man to Europe, even when he found out that she was born. Looks like he didn't love her that much to stick around
3) Cousin Margrett: She was about to get married to the one man that she loved, until the day she found him in his bed naked with another woman. Wedding canceled the next day
4) Her Aunt Nina: Was in a long relationship with the man she dated since high school. He told her that he loved her and always will. Until the day that he called her up and said that it was over and that he wanted to move on. He even got himself another girlfriend from Japan while he was going out with her.
5) Cousin Jeffery: Was about to ask his girlfriend of five years to marry her. The day before, he finds out that she has died in a car crash. He is now in a rehabilitation home for almost overdosing himself from all the pain he was feeling from losing her.
6) Best friend Stephanie: Loved her boyfriend of three years. They finally DO IT, unfortunately the condom snapped and she is pregnant with his baby. When she tells him, he says it's over and the next day, he's moving to the opposite side of the country. She is left to raise the child on her own, with the help of her mother, Annabelle, and Annabelle's mother.
7) Close guy friend Mark: Was in a really close relationship with this girl that he and Annabelle knew since grade school. Thought that they were going to go far with each other, until he meets the new boy in school. That's when he finds out he's gay. He thinks it's best to tell her and that the relationship is over and that they can just be friends. Doesn't go as he planned. The news that he's gay has brought her to the thought of death and the next day is found in her room, hanging by her neck. When Mark finds out about it, he puts a bullet to his head.

2) Grandparents (mother's side): Both still alive to this day. Will be celebrating their 50th anniversary in less than two months. Have been together since they were childhood sweethearts
3) Grandparents (father's side): Were almost going to celebrate their 50th anniversary but the grandmother died of a heart attack. Grandfather may be crushed, but he knew that she wouldn't want him upset so he lives life the way he would have if she was still alive. He lives for her.
4) Cousin Gregory: Has been in love with the same girl for over three years and has not said a thing to her about his feelings. Until last year when he finally spilled his heart out to her. Turns out that she felt the same way.
5) Uncle Jesse: Is going to marry a woman that he only met a few months ago, but he feels that it was love at first sight.
6) Cousin Rebecca: Is only eight years old, but she already knows what love feels like through her playmate David. They even kissed already, on the lips as well!
7) Best friend Kyle: Went through so many break ups, more than Darren himself, but he didn't quit until he found the one girl for him. Except, he never found her. Instead, he fell for the captain of the chess team. Have been going out since.

Annabelle woke up early on this Saturday morning. Looking down at her clock, she saw that it was only seven. Ugh you have got to be kidding me! she complained in her mind as she kicked the blankets off her legs and dragged her feet over to the bathroom. Just as she was about to close her bathroom door, Annabelle heard a knock on her door. Groaning, she slowly walked over to her door and opened it to find her mother there, already in her business suit. "Oh good you're up, listen I have to go to the office early so will you be alright by yourself?" she asked her. Annabelle smiled weakly to her mother. "I'll be fine. The concert doesn't start till later in the afternoon so I'll find something to do to entertain myself!" she answered then closed the door behind her. Just a minute ago, she had completely forgotten about the concert that her best friend had persuaded her to go to. Sure she was a music fan, but since she graduated high school, she wasn't really in the mood to go to concerts like she use to. But then again, the only reason she was really going to the concert was to break up with Erick, boyfriend number thirteen.
Ten minutes later, Annabelle walked out of her bathroom wearing a cute black V-neck sleeveless top and some dark blue skinny jeans with black and white polka dot flats. As she fixed her bed, Annabelle heard the sound of cell began to play "Apologize" on her desk. She walked over to her desk, eyeing the person on her caller ID. Stephanie it read. Just recently, she had given birth to her son, the one thing that drove Allan away. She sighed, and flipped her phone open and placed it in her ear. "Yeah?" she said in a blank voice. Annabelle had been friends with Stephanie since they were in junior high. They did almost everything together. That was until Steph began to go out with Allan. That was when she became the third wheel, even though she herself had her boyfriends, but none of them lasted, thanks to her. Annabelle never really got what her friends were talking about when they said love was the best feeling ever. Sure it was, but the only love she felt was the love for her family. All this lovey dovey s**t was not her thing. As she laid back down on her bed, Annabelle listened to the plan Stephanie had for them for the concert. It wasn't that big of a deal, it was a sort of fundraiser to the church and these juniors at the local high school were asked to play for the fundraiser. The only reason she decided to go was because 1) she actually heard the band before and they were pretty good 2) Stephanie would not shut up about it and 3) Erick was going to be there and she wanted to end their relationship.
Once Stephanie hung up, Annabelle walked down to the kitchen and made her breakfast. Nothing special, just three pancakes and some orange juice was enough for her. Right after she took her first bite, Annabelle felt her cell buzz in her back pocket. She had a new text from Erick. Can't wait 4 da concert! Goin 2 b kick a**! is all it said. Annabelle rolled her eyes and just placed her cell on the table. She wasn't going to reply to that, since Erick wasn't going to be a part of her life anymore in t-minus eight hours. Until then, Annabelle was going to have some alone time to think about afterwards, when she would move to New York next year for her first year at NYU. After this year, Annabelle was all set to move to New York. Start anew with no worries. Her dream to become a journalist getting one step closer to her. And there was one thing for sure, she was not going to get attached while through it. No boyfriend, no lovey dovey, just her and her passion for journalism.

Darren's eye's fluttered open slowly to the smell of pancakes, slowly sitting up, he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. A soft knock on the door came directly after, "Darren, love are you awake"his mothers soft voice cooed from behind the door. Darren smiled at how kind she was. "Yeah mom, I'm up" his voice was low and groggy from sleep. "Well breakfast is almost done, so get dressed and we can eat together"his mothers voice hinted a bit of a smile. Darren groaned and lay back down for a moment, quickly shooting up as he remembered the concert he was supposed to go to. ' Did Kyle ask me to go or not'. As if answering him, Darren's cell began to sing. 'Poison' continued to play, with sleepy eye's he looked over to see 'Kyle'sprawled across the front. Quickly Darren picked up his phone, "Darren's half way house for the mentally insane, how may I help you". Kyle started talking in a blur, but Darren knew everything he was saying.
About 10 minutes later Darren came down in faded black jeans, with large holes in the knees. A tight black t-shirt hugged his defined chest perfectly. His mother and father smiled at him lovingly, he smiled at them in return. "So Darren are you going to the concert with Kyle. He nodded quickly sitting on the opposite side of his father, "Yeah I am, I think he said that he was going to pick me up around 3 or something". Both his parents just smiled at him, so many thoughts ran through his mind at once.

Annabelle was back in her room, working on a little fake column in her latop when she heard the honking of her horn just outside her room. She leaned forward to look out her window to see her best friend Stephanie, in her car, waiting. Annabelle smiled and got out of her bed, locking her laptop then closing it. She ran down the steps towards the living room. "I'm heading out now!" she yelled to her mom then walked out the door right after her mother cried out about the whole be home by one thing. Once outside, Annabelle grinned at her best friend then stepped into the car. "How's little Alex?" she asked her best friend. Stephanie smiled. "He's fine. He's at his grandmother's right now so it's all good!" she replied then started driving.
After about fifteen quiet minutes in the car, Stephanie parked at the mall and smiled. Annabelle looked at her with raised eyebrows. "What?" she merely asked. Stephanie shook her head and got out of the car with Annabelle. "Erick is getting the boot tonight isn't he?" she merely asked. Annabelle rolled her eyes and just walked into the mall. She did need to look for some new clothes, a few skinny jeans and a few tops. So she headed straight to her favorite store with Stephanie at her side. Just four more hours till I give Erick the boot! Erick it's over! she thought the whole time she and Stephanie walked to the store, arm in arm.

Darren had gone back up to his room after the dishes were washed and put away. Now he had absolutely nothing to do, he flopped back down on his unmade bed and began to count the cracks in the ceiling. He quickly lost track of how many he had and gave up, turning over onto his side to look out the window opposite his bed. A long sigh escaped his beautiful lips, 'I have to find the girl I'm destined to be with, she has to be out there somewhere...but where. The sun shone brightly through the panes of the glass, leaving the room with a soft summer glow. Things had been so strange and yet so normal for him when he had gotten him nothing here had really changed, it was so timeless. '4 hours needs to hurry up I'm gonna die if I don't find something to do'. Still nothing interesting came to mind, at these moment's he wished he had a little brother or sister to bug.
After about 10 minutes Darren fell asleep in his cozy, quiet room. The sun still bathing the room in a gentle glow. Scattered dreams danced around in Darren's sleeping mind, about the girl he would marry and who he would fall in love with. All of it seemed so real there but in reality it was just a dream. But to him, at the very moment, it was his reality and he didn't want to wake up from s dream so sweet.

Annabelle walked back to Stephanie's car two hours later. She had five bags full of clothes for New York. Even though she's not going to move to New York till next year, she was jsut trying to be prepared. Suddenly, she felt a little tickle on her butt. Her cell was buzzing. Placing her bags in the back while Stephanie put her bags in the trunk, Annabelle reached for her back pocket and took out her phone. She got a text from the director of the concert, who she was quite aquainted with, even though she dumped her son a few months ago. She sighed, reading the message. Anna sweetie, can u & Steph c** over 2 da church 2 help set up? it said. Annabelle smiled and immediately texted back. Sure thing! C u soon! She then snapped her phone shut and got into the car. "Bert wants our help!" she merely said to Stephanie then put her seatbelt on.
Ten minutes later, Annabelle walked with Stephanie into the chruch. She was so glad that Erick wasn't around. She would hate to be around her future ex-boyfriend before she would dump him. Just then, he felt arms wrap around her shoulders. She smiled and hugged Bert back. "So where do we start?" she asked after she let go of Bert, giving his son Bryan, a friendly smile. Bryan smiled back but immediately looked away when he started blushing. Annabelle rolled her eyes and walked over to the stage, assigned to help the band set up. She looked at the new drummer, who was the younger brother of ex-boyfriend number eight. He gave her a small smile then went back to fixing up the drum set. Annabelle smirked and went to help the lead guitarist set up the microphones.

"Darren!" His mothers voice woke him from the nap he had managed to catch, "Yeah?!". He in-turn called back to her. "Kyle is here", Darren's eye brows pulled down into a frown, 'What is he doing here, we still have' he looked down at his watch to check the time 'At least 2 more hours'. Darren stood quickly, taking the steps as quickly as he could down to the living room. Kyle sat smiling at the edge of the couch, quickly turning his head to look at Darren "Yo Darren what's crackin", were the first words out of his mouth. Darren sighed and decided to be a smart a**"Well so far my neck, fingers, and toes, and I think that's about it".Kyle just slapped his forehead. "I didn't mean it that way you jackass, I meant whats going on with you". Darren just shook his head as a reply, Kyle had always asked the same question whenever he came over, and always got the same reply. "Well why don't we go upstairs and play so Guitar Hero". Darren just sighed and led the way to his room.
After about 10 minutes Kyle had become frustrated, and could now be caught pouting on the bed, "Dude you ******** rigged this game, don't ask me how but ya did". Darren just shook his had and chuckled, "How in the world can I rig the game when I barely know how to set up a computer hm, besides it's not my fault you suck at playing the guitar". Darren broke out into a hysterical laugh, Kyle in turn tackled him to the ground. A furious wrestling match broke out between the two. Darren's mother just shook her head as she hummed softly to herself.

"Annabelle don't be a b***h! You can't dump Erick just after a few months with him!" Antony cried out. He was ex-boyfriend number seven, but he was one of the few that she still talked to like they were just friends. Annabelle rolled her eyes and went back to testing the microphones. "Whatever, I just don't feel the same way about Erick as I did before. So it's going to be over," she merely said then went to bring the extra cords back into the box. "Yeah but if you dump him and you go to boyfriend number, what number are you on?" Antony said, creasing his eyebrows trying to think. "Shut up, get out of my business!" she snapped at him then went back to the stage.
As she stepped onto the stage, Annabelle bumped smack into boyfriend number five, Jay. She looked up at him and smiled at him sweetly. "Hey Jay! How's it going?" she gasped, giving him a friendly hug. She forgot how hot he was, especially his eyes. Sighing, she walked over to the speakers and worked on making sure that they were right. "I'm alright, just that college is really getting to me," Jay replied, looking her up at down. And that was when she remembered why she dumped him. Annabelle rolled her eyes and walked over to the back of the stage to check if there was anything she could help with.

" I won't....let you beat me....you....monkey" . Darren and Kyle had been holding back bends for more then 10 minutes now. Kyles body had begun to shake with fatigue, as was Darren's. "We'll see look who's....shaking more" Kyle teased as he readjusted his hands. Darren laughed and also moved slightly. Loud foot steps could be heard coming in from the living room, Darren's father peeked his head through the door and frowned. "What are you boys doing?" he asked in a deep, raspy voice, all Kyle and Darren could do was smile. His father shook his head and left, both of the boys could hear Darren's father say, "Honey you should go look at the boys, this would be a true Kodak moment".
