When Xanthe heard him speaking from his room, she stopped. his fault? She was confused. She heard everything he had to say. She sighed and leaned against the wall. Her body became heavy ans she slid down. "She does love you...you just...you just can't see it like i do..." she said softly knowing he couldn't hear her. She listened carefully and she could hear his breathing slow down, he was asleep. She sighed and fell asleep herself.

Alexandria wagged her tail and licked her muzzled lightly. 'Oh well i ran into another werewolf, i think she was part of a clan.' She told him. This wolf seemed rather happy and carefree, he acted more like a wolf than a human. She figured he had been a wolf for a long time and hadn't changed back into a human. She wondered what he looked like.

Travis nodded. 'Well maybe you can find them somehow. I'm sure they wouldn't mind another pack member.' He didn't refer to himself along with her for he wasn't planning on joining another pack any time soon. She didn't seem like much of a loner, so he guessed that she would probably leave him soon. He never got too attached to anybody, always knowing that sooner of later, they would leave him for someone or something else.
Vixen jumped as a scream came through the intercom. "Vixen?!" her mother's voice yelled through. Vix sighed. "Yes, mother?" "OHMYGOD!!! Vixen!! Let her through! Let her THROUGH Jenkins!!!!!" Vixen laughed as she could almost picture her mother strangling the security guard as he attempted to press the button to open the gate.

Kane woke up finally in his bed, his eyes were still slightly heavy. He felt his face, he had been sweating in his sleep from his dream. A night where it was raining, the day his family was murdered infront of him. He knew why actually the vampires wanted his sister, because she had something different in her... She was a mix breed, infact not even his sister. He shunned the foolish thought in his head and opened his door not noticing Xanthe right now. He had a fresh pair of clothing draped over his right arm as he moved his body to his Bathroom to shower. The noise would probably wake Xanthe. He entered the bathroom and turned on the shower to almost scolding hot water basically, along with undressing to get in it. His sister was not vampire or human... It was a very odd thing, she was not even his sister, but he had to lie to her or she may remember killing his family. He got into the shower to clean the sweat off his body finally.

Xanthe had been awake for a short while. She had waken up to Kane's grunts and groans. He had obviously had a nightmare. But she stayed where she sat and decided it was best to not wake him at this moment. So when he woke up and casually walked past her to the bathroom, she sighed and stood up and went into his room. She fixed his bed and decided to make a small snack for Kelsey and maybe even Kane, if he would have any. She made some cookies, oatmeal and chocolate chip. She had convinced the guy at Potbelly's to give her the recipe for them. More like her friend from Chicago had convinced him...such disturbing memories... she thought shaking her head and then chuckling. She heard Kelsey run into the kitchen and nearly diving for the cookies when Xanthe lightly slapped her hand. "Nope! Not before dinner!" She said smirking. Kelsey stuck her tongue on and then laughed. "Sooooo....whats for dinner?" She asked. "I donno, you tell me." She replied. Xanthe put the cookies on the counter and then picked one up and took a bite. "Yum...nice and hot..." She said melting. "Hey! not fair! I want one!" Kelsey said trying to grab one. "They are too hot for you, you would burn yourself." She said pushing Kelsey back. She laughed and broke her a piece. Kelsey tried and it and then her eyes went wide. "HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT!" She screamed fanning her mouth. Xanthe burst out laughing and Kelsey continued fanning her mouth.

Kane sighed as the water burnt off his troubles in his mind and he hit a mood of relaxation or Harmony if you prefer. His body was almost red from the water's temp. and he was a bit blinded by the steam surrounding now the whole bathroom. His body moved almost on its own as he turned off the shower and the running water sound would stop along with the door opening sound would be heard. Kane would exit the shower yawning as he walked in just a towel forgetting about company and that the kitchen was rather close by to the bathroom... He headed towards his room, as he opened it and turned on the lights as he entered and shut the door a little more then half way. He dropped the towel and picked out clothing seeing the clothing he brought to the shower was dirty and was placed in the basket there.

Xanthe had been facing the hall. When she saw Kane walk out of the bathroom naked with the steam trailing behind him and all, her jaw dropped. She saw him enter his room but her jaw did not move. Kelsey looked at her confused. "Xan-ee? you ok? Xaaaaaa-neeeeee?" Kelsey said waving her hand in front of Xanthe's blank face.

Kane sighed as he grabbed some random clothing now, along with shaking his body to make his hair messy again, because he hated how when you put on a shirt, it smoothed it down. He then exited his bedroom and stretched a little and said, "I smell food... Kelsey what are you making?"

"Kelsey isn't making anything." Xanthe said blushing when she saw him and then turned around to the stove. "I baked some cookies and I'm about to make some spaghetti." She said going over to the fridge and grabbing the ingredients and beginning the cooking. Kelsey looked at her confused about the change in mood and expression. When she realized what it was when she saw the steam from the bathroom, she gasped, covered her mouth, giggled and ran out of the kitchen to the TV room.

Kane looked confused as Kelsey giggled and Xanthe acted shy like. He then said, "Hmmm Spaghetti sound perfect to me I guess." He looked at her curiously now thought and went on, "You know Xanthe your red a little, you ok? Getting sick or something?" He went and put his hand on her forehead to feel her temp.

Xanthe laughed. "Its no use. We don't get sick, unless we are poisened of course. And checking my temperature is useless, we are constantly blazing hot." She said smirking. "And, next time, remember to use a towel after you leave the shower." She smirked and felt herself blush. She bit her lip them turned around and went back to cooking. "Good thing Kelsey didn't see you, or else she probably would have fainted. Good thing I see that nearly everyday from my pack, or else I probably would have passed out like you did earlier." She said chuckling and blushing.

She made a face, 'no thanks i rather be on my own. Packs don't stick for me.' she said then looked around. It was getting late and she had yet to find a place to rest for the night. She glanced back at him, she knew he wouldn't come with her if she asked him. Even thought it would be nice to have a companion, even for a little while. 'I need to find a place to rest.'

Kane turned a bit red at the thought of her seeing him.... He then said, "I... uh..... Well... I guess we are even then or something... Though don't get any ideas. Its unhealthy you know for a young girl as your such." He smirked a little and thought it could make her faint and kissed her lightly on the cheek hoping it had some effect.

Xanthe's heart skipped a beat. She turned bright red but she smiled. "Awww you're such a sweetheart to care for little ol' me." She said teasing. She knew his intentions and it was slightly working. Her knees buckled a bit but she stayed strong. She felt her breath quicken and she shook her hair over her face to hide the redness.

Kane smirked a little as he saw her reaction and said, "Ah... what is it Xanthe? You look all red you know, should probably work on your hot temperature problem I think." He did it once more on the other cheek and wondered if she would turn into a cherry or something of the sort if he was lucky. He then said as he patted her on the head, "You can take my bed though tonight, I am going to sleep on the couch." He went to walk off and watch the Telly with Kelsey.
