The four tentacle spears slammed into the ice, getting caught while cracking the wall, to where the tentacles could easily jerk free.
When Oriana looked at Auren, she saw him crouching, before standing to his full height and yanking the tentacles out. From her point of view, she saw the wounds seal themselves, the flesh knitting itself before her eyes.

 Then the armor did it.

A dark aura seemingly surrounded Auren as he started changing. First his left arm, the same sword that was holding Discord grew monstrous, plated with chitin and metal interchanagably, the hand forming into a claw. The changes spread across him, armor enveloping his head and face while everything that was seemingly 'normal' about him disappeared. His chest was replaced with some seething glowing mass enshrouded in armor. His feet became claws themselves as they split. Discord grew monstrous, a single glowing orb at the hilt while the blade became real.

His right hand remained normal, strangely, and Dissension remained the same.

The Einherjar's Wings disappeared, replaced with seemingly wavy black flames in the form of his wings.

Auren growled with a wierd distortion to his voice. Far more primal ababd alien at the same time. "Oriana, she is a Shield. This means that if I were to throw a Sword at her, we'd both lose. Conventional attacks will slow her down. We must decapitate or destroy her head for victory. Otherwise this is all a waste of time."

He looked at her, his eyes remained the same, though they were cold and fierce.

"If we don't co-ordinate, we're both dead. I am a Sword but what happens when you throw the perfect offense at the perfect defense? The sword loses."

"Wait for my signal, then aim with your most powerful attack at her head. Understand?"

She trembled and nodded, "Alright... I'll do my best." Oriana peered around the corner and waited for his signal while she let the power of her lapis reach it's full potential. It's aura curling around the room coating it in a thin frost.

"Good." Auren grunted and disappeared with a small snap, having moved faster then she had ever seen him before.
The next second found Auren entangled in the tentacles, the two monsters engaged in a massive duel. Swords flashed out of Siriyana's wings to impale him but were easily deflected, parried, or simply slashed out of the way.

Despite his monstrous form, he moved with an unearthly grace and ease. However, despite his best efforts at being a swirling death machine, one tentacle, then another slipped through his guard, impaling him and slowing him down.

Of course, that was Auren's plan. To get close enough to threaten the other Huscarl while Oriana waits for his signal and kill her.

Eventually, he was slowed and stopped completely, unable to move while tentacles punched through him and entwined him.

There were enough that they lifted him in the air.

"NOW ORIANA!" he roared as the tentacles started straining to tear him to pieces.

The ice wall fell down and absorbed into the icy ground at her feet. She had her arms flexed at her waist, slowly bringing them up, the ice swirling up around her. She threw her arms foward her eyes glowing a blueish white. ice shards flew straight for her head and more shards just formed at her head and flew through it completely severing it from the body.
Oriana huffed and fell to her knees, satisfied with her power. she looked at the head on the ground and collapsed from exhaustion.

Auren dropped to the floor when Siriyana lost her life. He looked at Oriana with a smile in his eyes, knowing that she couldn't see his smile. Standing stiffly from so many injuries, he slowly yanked out the tentacles and looked at the dead monster on the floor, before limping over to Oriana.
"Thanks Oriana. Saved both of us and probably everyone else in this building." he said quietly as he kneeled next to her, taking a defensive position.

"Now, do you understand why I was so angry? I am a monster but monsters like that poor Valkyrie are a completely different league. They need to be killed as they transform, or they wind up something like that."

Auren stood up slowly, sheathing both swords. As the adrenaline faded from his system, he gradually reverted back, bloodied. "I owe you my life, that's what it gets down to. I guess we're even?"

Giles ran out and grabbed Oriana, "Lady Oriana! Are you alright?" She looked up at him and smiled, "Yeah, just tired. Do me a favor though..." "Anything My lady." he replied. "Don't get involved with other species. You have to remember you're in the gate city and whatever happens here can easily pass through into other realms. I don't need that happening." Giles lifted Oriana into his arms and carried her into his study where he laid her down on a sofa like bed and smiled, "I'll do my best Lady Oriana."

Sinis has become a maverick to our people who has gone too far. He has broken our pilgrimage by running off by himself. The only way to stop him is to incapacitate him and bring him back home where he will be publicly executed in front of everyone. If I can not do that, then he will die here... I will not be stopped either. Guen if you get in the way I will not hesitate to destroy you."

Auren followed the pair quietly, relaxing as much as he could, his wings still glowing lightly. After Giles stepped out of the Study, Auren grabbed him by the collar and lifted him casually.
"...Are you insane?" he growled. "Do you know what you could have done!? You could've created chaos on a scale unprecedented. That poor Huscarl girl was insane. She could have easily wiped out the entire city district and then some. And you kept her as an EXPERIMENT!?" he finished roaring.

He took a breath. "That woman was a monster. A monster. Not anything you put together in your piddling little lab if she retained her sanity could've hold a candle to her, you arrogant sonuvabitch. Now you better damn well tell me right the ******** now what ELSE you have stashed around in here in this god-forsaken shithole."

Auren's wings were fully alive again, his anger getting the best of him.

I believe he was in Rodasia. As for other experiments... I have rats... Lots and lots of ******** rats... A few cats, and Some jeweled animals for my own experiment... Which Oriana isn't too pleased about, but she hasn't done anything to stop me so i keep it up." He concentrated on his core temperature, and became so cold that Auren had no choice but to release him, "Now. Take the lady from here. Get her in bed, and feed her. She should be your main concern if you're her body guard... right?" Giles smiled and walked down the hall to his room.

Auren snarled. Oriana was fine. He could sense that other then exhaustion which he could not cure... He quickly marched up again, grabbed him by the vest and dragged him into the battle ruined foyer, where Siriyana's form lay surrounded by tentacles.
"Sorry state? Look at that. Take a good long look. Now imagine if that thing was rampaging through a town. Those tentacles extend as far as she wants them, and are strong enough to punch through full plate armor."

"Look at what you brought into your city." he hissed before releasing him and seeing to Oriana.

After slipping quietly into the Study, he sighed heavily. "Giles, is an idiot." he said bluntly.

"He brought in a monster into this city. Had he been an idiot, and had she not been calm until I arrived, we could've come to a ruined city."

"Figures as much, Oriana." He looked down at her with a sad smile. He had killed one of his own today.

Auren took her hand lightly and squeezed it reassuringly. "Sadly, for a Huscarl... my kind before I became a monster... That is their fate. You... transform into one of those things... and hope, hope to Goddess Latera that your trusted comrade and friend end your life there... while you are still Lateran."
He had a distant look "I was lucky, I suppose... I dodged that bullet of fate, and fled Latera before anyone found out of my transformation besides my training partner. Ah well. All lost time, I suppose."

He leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "Now you don't worry about that. That's ancient history, my dear."

...The ******** did I do that for? he asked himself.

It seemed right. came another voice.

(>< good god... now he's crazy too...?)
Oriana blushed softly and looked away, "Well, I'm glad no one found out about your little secret... you seem to control it better than... most do." she stood up and rested an arm on Auren, "Do you think you could help me down to Vadim?"
