Alex was just about to grab Cassie and go, when two other girls walked into the room. Alex turned to look. They were both very pretty, but the dark-haired one that was all fidgety seemed familiar. Alex knew she wasn't an old student here, but the familiarity bugged him. When she spoke however, it came to him.
"Oh my god!" He gushed geekily, "You're! I mean, your mom is...! Wow! What's she really like!?" He had been a huge fan of Elsie's mother's group, even though they were considered 'Classic' Rock. It was like if he'd met Dusty Hill's kids or something. He caught himself them, and calmed down. "Oh, I'm sorry for geeking out on you like that...It's just, you look so much like your mother." His face became almost as red as his hair, and he stared at the floor.

Anthony looked at Felicity and smiled, "Let's try this again, what types of instruments do you play?" he asked. He was curious because she had never told him.

Oh God, he knows who my mom is! Elsie had hoped something like this wouldn't happen, but she supposed it was to be expected when you were the child of a once famous singer. Then the boy apologized, and it made Elsie giggle slightly. He was kind of cute, even if he did think she looked like her mother. "It's okay." Elsie said, "I get that a lot, actually. I guess my mom's just like any regular person." It was a bit odd that Elsie had said so much to someone she'd just met. Normally she would have just given a monosyllabic answer, but something about this boy made her say more than she usually would have, even if that was only a sentence or two.

Cassie watched Alex react to the two girls. She wasn't jelous...at least she didn't think she was. Oh wonderful..... She just kind of stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to say.

Xander still felt a bit odd for gushing, and he hardly dared take his eyes off of the suddenly interesting sight of his shoes. "Lemme at least make it up to you. Cassie, and I were going to get some dinner and watch movies in my dorm. You guys could join us." He looked at Cassie. "Um, that is, if Casssie doesn't mind."

Dayna looked at Elsie, then the boy, then the girl named Cassie. She smiled happily. All of them were nice people in her eyes so far. "I would come, as along as I wasn't intruding." She said, being polite, "...and as you said, if its okay with Cassie."

Elsie was pretty surprised by the boy's invitation to dinner. She wasn't exactly sure how to respond. If she said yes, she'd have to spend more time talking to people she didn't know, but she'd also get to spend some time with a cute guy. On the other hand, she'd have to spend the rest of the night by herself. She usually didn't mind being by herself, but being in a new school was a bit much. After a little bit of mental debating, Elsie said, "I wouldn't mind coming. That is, if Cassie doesn't mind." The last sentence she added hastily. She'd momentarily forgotten that Cassie hadn't said anything yet and she didn't want to impose herself on people she didn't know.

Cassie would have scowled but that wouldn't have been nice. She really didn't like how they put it all on her. "I guess its alright. Though its not my room so I don't know why it would bother me." She shrugged.

"Well arent you just mister tallented." She said while playfully swating his arm. She noticed the waiter was comming back. She grabbed his hand and held it. The waiter walked over to their table.
"Have you both thought what you would like for dessert?" He asked while faking a smile. He noticed their hands on the table and narrowed his eyes.
Felicity looked over at Anthony. "What would you like honeybun?" She said, laying the love on thick.

Alex smiled. "Great! I'll see you all tonight, six-ish. Dorm five. I'll provide the food and the kung-fu movies." Alex had an excellent set up with any place that delivered around here. "Did you still want that tour, Cass?"

"Sure!" Cassie's mood had slightly improved now. It seemed she was picking up on Alex's happy mood. This would have to be catorgized as one of the most interesting first days of school. Of course she would have to call the guys but they could wait till later. If she was going to be here she might as well try and make some sort of friends.

mellomeghan Missy lead her through the halls with Shauna at her heels. She headed toward the cafe that the Ravenwood's decided to put in. "This is Cafe de Raven" Missy said while going to the counter and ordering a cup of coffee and a ham sandwich. (sorry i took so long m-e-g-han!)) Shauna smiled at Missy's introduction, then went up to the counter behind her and ordered some pizza and a glass of cream soda. She followed Missy to a table and began to eat. "So, how does the year at Ravenwood go? Like what kind of concerts, and social events does it hold?" She asked curiously.
