Satoru sighed for a moment as he was beginning to return to Orange Village. He was needing some extra bounty easily, so coming here to get some more shouldn't be hard. Don Krieg and his Pirates were still here from the sign of a large but poor conditioned ship which was Krieg's. Satoru just shrugged and continued on. I hauled in all that gear and now I'm going to get my worth for it and get this stuff." he said. "My extra large bag is very handy now." he said. Though as he walked up, he saw a very overconfident Don Krieg and Satoru saw mini bombs at his feet and sighed. "Not again..."

Scatter Plot 1/3

Don Krieg had a powerful grin on his face as he looked at Satoru. He had seen this kid upstaging Pearl with his own Techniques while everyone else was asleep. Though he thought laying these bombs around to take him out wasn't hard at all. "If you're here for a lesson, I refuse if you can't get out of those bombs while you're unscathed." he said to him. He pointed his fingers down which then caused the bits of the ground to push up. Satoru was just grinning to Don Krieg's surprise while starting to take his own hands and juggle mini bombs. "So it's true then. You are a marine." he said to Satoru.

Scatter Plot 2/3

Satoru just began to sigh and he nodded to Krieg. "Yeah." he said. "Though it's not total because now I have to worry about a guy chasing aftre me to be his nakama who has the Gomu Gomu no Mi." he said to Krieg. "But if I looked at this right, then these techniques seem to link together." he said to him. "I just toss these minibombs down.." he tossed them down ."And then they would just ignite." he said said as they ignited. "Damaging, but not lethal. My Hare no Rai's much more lethal." he said to to Krieg. "So I think you need better damaging moves."

Scatter Plot 3/3

Krieg stayed silent some while he realized Satoru's prowess with teh spear, and he then just sighed looking to see the easiness Satoru found in just sullying his techniques for some time. This was very aggravating to him, but he was going to do better in showing this kid who was the stronger man. Though Satoru had the strength without his fruit, he really wondered if that was the case at all. He just sighed and then looked to Satoru and he cracked his neck. "Just wait here a moment while I go and get my Armor. It contains the last two moves I can teach you. The poison Gas Bomb is the first one. You need a bomb and my Gas mask. So I'll be back in a moment. Just wait here.

Ghastly Poison Gas Bomb 1/6

Satoru sighed listening to Krieg. Satoru hated waiting out of anything, so he was going to have to enjoy this himself. He was beginning to walk around some more seeing as Krieg walked off to get and obtain the armor. This was better than he could expect, so he was going to make the bets of it before he lost his chance for time. He just put on his gas mask and then began to juggle the Gas Bomb around as he was smiling. He was making sure that this could walk out. Now he began to look over at the grass and this was going to better him soon enough.

Ghastly Poison Gas Bomb 2/6

Krieg was slowly walking up the knoll and then as he was wearing his Armor and then he began to grin some. "So I see that you have this kind of stuff." he said to Satoru as he grabbed the Gas bomb while it was in the air. "You're lucky enough that it didn't go off or you'd be unable to train and be easily poisoned." he said to Satoru. Now he was beginning to wonder about what else could be going on, so he began to enjoy the thought of this kid being dead. "OKay, you then take one of the compartments from your armor and then it will work out." he said to Satoru. He took his own bomb out and then he loaded it into a shield compartment. He was holding it and then readied to fire out the bomb.

Ghastly Poison Gas Bomb 3/6

Satoru was just silent looking over at how much the armor itself would weigh. That woudl work better than before, so this was going to be better for him than expected. He started to walk on into a small area and then he was next to Krieg. He took off the left shoulder plate which was revealed to be a launcher for the poison gas bomb. "Well, it seems like a good device." Satoru said as Krieg set one to replace the one Satoru would use. It took the swordsman awhile to get used to how this thing was going to work, but he was feeling better with his accuracy with it.did keep the mask on because he knew it could be bothersome.

Ghastly Poison Gas Bomb 4/6

Krieg grinned some as he realized Satoru was getting the hang of his poison gas bomb in terms of aiming. "There's a trigger mechanism inside that compartment. You can feel around for it and you'll realize how easy it can be to accomplish." he said to Satoru then taking the bomb and he started to look over at the boy. He aimed his bomb out towards teh water. "Observe and enjoy, kid." he said as the projectile was launched outwards as Krieg pulled the trigger. This worked out easily. Now he started to laugh some seeing the large explosion that went out afterwards. "As you can see, it's not hard at all."

Ghastly Poison Gas Bomb 5/6

Satoru just remained still. He moved the shield back and saw the way the mechanism fit his hand in with the trigger easily put in after he was able to make sure this could work. He began to walk around and soon enough, he was able to find the mechanism and as he aimed at Krieg's bomb, his own launched out and detonated with it simultaneously. This was too easy for Satoru as he thens et the shield down and stored the Bomb inside it for later use. "Well, let's see how this thing can work..." he said with a smile. "So, is there anything left here or will I have to go now?" Krieg nodded, and then Satoru walked away with some new moves.

Ghastly Poison Gas Bomb 6/6

"The next technique I'll be teaching you is called Pearl Cymbals, the only difficult about this is where you aim the attack and holding the cymbals in place for a few seconds. To begin-" he continued to explain as he walked over to a large mast that was positioned on the Baratie. "-let's pretend this is the neck of your opponent, simply raise your hands on both sides and than clash them together on their neck just as if they were symbols." As he spoke he gave a visual aid by placing his hands on the left and right side of the pole and than slammed them together like he was playing the cymbals. The mast shook from the impact and it had to be a powerful blow to shake such a large thing. "If done correctly it can make a person black out, it's a good move for battle" he said as he stepped away from the mast extending his hand towards it "You're turn" he said with a smile.

Pearl Cymbals 1/4

Walking over to the same mast he clenched the Pearl Hand Shields tightly in his hands looking down at them and than at the pole. "Just like cymbals?" he asked looking back over his shoulder at Pearl "Just like cymbals only a little heavier" he said with a smile and than stood quiet once again, awaiting for Satoru to attempt the technique. Lifting one arm to the left of the pole and his other arm to the right of it, he tried to keep his balance, but they weighed to much for him and caused him to fall over to the right. Ashamed from failing such a simple technique he quickly stood up and looked up at Pearl, wondering how he would react to his mistake. In his past experience, he'll either be helped or hit, he was hoping more for the helping than the hitting. Pearl simply looked at him, surprised that Satoru hadn't done anything "What are you waiting for?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at him "Get up and try it again". Satoru smiled at his words and quickly stood upright and in front of the mast, readying to attack.

Pearl Cymbals 2/4

Clenching the Pearl Hand Shields tightly once again, he stared at the mast for a short time, wondering where and when to strike. If he waited to long than his arms would get tired, and if he did it to quickly than he would lose his balance and would have to start over. It was all a matter of preparing yourself, but keeping your strength up in the process, truely a challenge for Satoru's strength. Lifting the Hand Shields to the left and right of the mast he knew that he couldn't hold them there for long and he could feel sweat already coming from his forehead. Satoru's arms began to shake slightly and he knew that if any time was to strike it would be now. Gripping the Hand Shields harder he prepared to strike, and this time he knew he could do it.

Pearl Cymbals 3/4

The Pearl Hand Shields collided with the mast with a large amount of force, not only did the mast crack from the force, but Satoru too shook from the amount of force that traveled through the Hand Shields up his arms. Trembling still even when the force was gone he placed his arms back down to his sides and the Hand Shields slipped off his knuckles hitting the wooden floor below with a loud 'thud' "Did I do it?" he asked turning to look over his shoulder to see how Pearl would react for him mastering this technique. "I will admit, you got talent, and I'm pretty sure that was the real thing so I guess you did master that. Hurry up and recover and we'll move on to the next thing" Pearl didn't really care on how Satoru felt, but still he managed to form a small smirk at how such a kid could get this technique.

Pearl Cymbals 4/4

"Alright, now it is time for me to teach you my most powerful technique, one that easily crush a persons bones in a single blow. Simply begin by using the Pear Diver which you have already learned, than you have to strengthen your body so you're able to land head first so you crush their body." Satoru was slightly terrified and intrigued by this technique, on one hand he would learn a very powerful attack, on the other hand he was terrified of landing on his head, couldn't that seriously hurt him? He didn't care anyway, he had to become stronger and this was the only way for him to become stronger by learning. "Now, to help you learn I am going to set up something so you won't seriously injure your head" Pearl explained as he soon walked off to another section of the Baratie. Satoru was thrilled to hear that he wouldn't be getting seriously hurt by practicing this technique, and wondered quietly to himself on what Pearl could be planning to do.

Tarnished Silver Surprise 1/7

A few minutes later Pearl returned carrying a very large object slung over his shoulder. Satoru stared at it in amazament wondering what on earth it could be and where Pearl had obtained such an object. Throwing it down on the ground Pearl smiled up at Satoru "This is a practice dummy, it will represent a real human you are using this technique on and it will protect your head from the hard surface" Pearl explained as Satoru continued to look the dummy over "Speaking of the technique" Satoru replied, looking up from the dummy and back over to Pearl "What was it called again?" he asked wanting badly to at least here the name so he could get a picture in his mind on what the technique might look like. "The technique?" Pearl repetead Satoru's words and than simply smiled at him "It's called-" he paused to build up tension on the scene "-Tarnished Silver Surprise"

Tarnished Silver Surprise 2/7

"Tarnished Silver Surprise" Satoru said quietly to himself, running the words over and over in his head and trying to figure out what exactly this technique involved, but no matter how many times he repeated it in his head and sometimes out loud he couldn't even get the faintest idea of what it could mean. "Could you show me exactly what it is?" he asked, anxious to learn this powerful attack, but to learn it he would have to see it first. "Certainly" Pearl replied in a cheery voice as he stepped a few feet away from the dummy "Wait! Don't you have to stand right next to it so you don't miss?" Satoru shouted out, that's what he thought you had to do so you didn't miss. Pearl began laughing hard "No, in a real battle you can't get that close without risking getting hit, you need to do the Pearl Diver at an angle and make sure you fall right on the dummy. Now let me demonstrate" Pearl explained as he took a deep breath, eyed the dummy, and began preparing to demonstrate.

Tarnished Silver Surprise 3/7

Raising both of his arms above his head he took aim at the dummy laying on the ground a few feet infront of him. Continuing to hold up the Pearl Hand Shields for a few more seconds until he felt it was time Pearl slammed them on the ground below them, sending himself flying into the air. While in the air he aimed himself above the dummy and as he was falling he made sure that he would land head first on the dummy. Satoru couldn't help but flinch as Pearl began to fall faster and faster increasing the amount of force that would hit the dummy. After about a minute of falling Pearl's head slammed down hard on the dummy's stomach causing certain areas to rip open and a few bits of stuffing to fly out of going everywhere. "Well" Pearl said as he stood back up and looked back down at the dummy that was now ruined. "Didn't expect to do it that hard" Pearl explained as he chuckled to himself "I'll be right back with another one and when I return it will be your turn" Pearl said as he ran off to another section of the Baratie. All Satoru could do was just blink and could hardly imagine doing such an attack.

Tarnished Silver Surprise 4/7

Satoru simply watched as Pearl dragged another dummy from who knows where and only when Pearl talked to him did he snap out of wondering where the dummys had come from "Are you ready?" were the words that entered Satoru's ears and all he could do was simply nod to this. In truth, he wasn't ready, he was terrified of getting harmed, even though he already knew how to perform the technique, he had learned all the information needed and now it was time for him to try it out "Alright" he said stepping about two feet away from the dummy, making sure he knew the exact location of the dummy. "Whenever you're ready!" Pearl shouted to him, excited to see if such a kid could learn his most powerful attack. Satoru stared one last time at the dummy and than at the ground below him, taking a deep breath and gripping the Pearl Hand Shields tightly he lifted them high above his head and prepared to use the technique, now confident that he could perform it.

Tarnished Silver Surprise 5/7

The Hand Shields were heavier than normal and he wondered if it was just his fear making them heavier or if he was getting to tired. Now wasn't the time to think about resting though, he had to perform this technique for Pearl. Bringing both of his hands down he slammed both hand shields on the ground, sending himself flying high up into the air. As he began to fall he positioned himself to what appeared to him as the correct place where the dummys stomach was. Doing somewhat of a half flip he made sure that he was falling head first right towards the dummys. Feeling himself gaining more and more speed his heart began to beat faster and faster, wondering if he would survive such an impact or not. Than it came, he could feel himself colliding with the dummys chest, it didn't hurt as much as he thought it would, but it still hurt. Staggering to stand up he looked down at the dummy he was standing on, stuffing had gone everywhere, and from the looks of it he had done the technique correct, now it was all up to Pearl to tell him how he did.

Tarnished Silver Surprise 6/7

"Very well done, you performed the technique perfectly, and now I have nothing more to teach you" Pearl said to Satoru who was now standing a few inches away from him "Thank you for everything you have taught me" Satoru said, slightly sad that he would have to leave, but happy that he had learned powerful moves to learn in battle. "I will be honest, when I first met you I didn't think you had what it took to learn these, but here you are learning them, go on your journey" he nudged Satoru forward towards his boat and Satoru simply smiled. Stepping into his boat, he placed the hand shields back into his bag and began sailing away to a new teacher.

Tarnished Silver Surprise 7/7

With that Patty got offended at that comment and then pulled up his shirt sleeves saying “You want food? I'm gonna make you EAT those words.” Pearl chuckled slightly and then said “I'm am one hundred percent indestructible!” Patty chuckled and then said “We'll see about that.” With that he brought his arm back and began to wind it back building up force. Finally Patty reached his maximum point of strength and then with all of strength slammed his hand into Pearl's shielded belly.

Tarnished Silver Surprise 1/7

Though when his hand hit the shield a loud crack noise rang throughout the entire the restraunt. People shrugged there shoulders in pain going “Ohh...” Patty fell to the ground writhing in pain. Pearl then took his hand symbols and put them on the ground saying “Now who's eating what...” with that he brought his symbols back up and yelled out “Pearl Diver!” and then slammed his cymbals on the ground causing him to fly up into the air. He looked down at Patty and smiled widely.

Tarnished Silver Surprise 2/7

Patty looked up at the man with wide eyes. It was apparent to Nessa that he believed he was going to die. That look is a look of contemplation, thinking about life. Like everyone says right before you die your life flashes before your eyes. Nessa needed to leap into action because Patty would surely die underneath all of that weight. “Now Patty, suffer...TARNISHED SILVER SURPRISE!” with that Pearl went crashing down towards Patty. Patty covered his face with his arms yelling “Tell me when it's over!”

Tarnished Silver Surprise 3/7

Nessa stood up and then yelled “Stealth Walk!” and with that ran at Patty with all of her speed and pushed him out of the way of Pearl's attack. She was just in the nick of time to as Pearl came slamming down onto the boat deck causing all of the wood to splinter and crack. It would seem that he was about to fall right through to the bottom of the sea but as luck would have it that wasn't going to happen. Patty looked up at Nessa and then realized that he had been saved by a fifteen year old girl but he didn't care.

Tarnished Silver Surprise 4/7

“Oh thank god you were there! I surely would have been crushed under the immense strength of his Tarnished Silver Surprise!” Nessa chuckled lightly patting him on the back saying “It's okay big guy, let it all out.” Though as fate would have it Pearl getting a face full of wood wasn't enough to stop him. Slowly he stood up and looked up at Nessa saying “You'll pay for that you pint sized b***h!” Nessa was shocked to hear this, she had never been called anything so vulgar before in her entire life!

Tarnished Silver Surprise 5/7

Nessa stood up leaving Patty to his own devices “Look her you shivering junkyard! You have no right entering this restraunt and trying to bully everyone with your shields. Your nothing but a great big bully!” Pearl's eyes narrowed at Nessa. Now he was pissed and was going to end her if possible. “You think I'm a great big bully huh?” Pearl said with a sharp tone of anger present in his voice. Nessa didn't budge mentally though as she simply “Yeah, you got that right, that's exactly what I think of you!”

Tarnished Silver Surprise 6/7

Pearl was utterly silent. For the first time in his entire life someone had spoke out of turn to him. Ever since he became Pearl the Indestructible Shield no one messed with him. He was practically a king in the East Blue. “Well then, if that's the way it's going to be then I guess I'll just have to end you. I know just how I'll do it. I'll take my hand cymbals and then I will smash your puny, pathetic, skull until your brains pop out from in between. To me you are absolutely nothing! NOTHING AT ALL!”

Tarnished Silver Surprise 7/7

Nessa sighed lightly and then said “I'm sorry for cutting open your leg without knowing the full story.” Pearl's smile became even wider as he held out his hand saying “Friends?” Nessa smiled as well looking into Pearl's face and then back down at the hand. This was a moment to be remembered. Two enemies becoming friends in less then a minute of meeting, what a sight.

Pearl Surprise 2/2

Nessa then reached out for his hand saying “Yes, friends.” Though there was pretty much no time to react as Pearl quickly brought his hand away from Nessa's yelling out “PEARL SURPRISE!” and with that sent his hand shield directly as Nessa's face. Sadly it connected perfectly and the pain behind it was practically unbearable. Nessa went flying out of the restraunt straight through the wall and out somewhere else. She landed somewhere far off in the ocean. She looked around and the Baratie was no where in sight. “That son of...” Nessa said lightly to herself as she began to swim out to somewhere close.
