no she didnt it was by accident, she accidentally grabbed your foot by accident she couldn't control it she was hoping that you could save her by you stopping the pit from sucking her in... trust me it was purely accidental...

Peace... -Janelle could still feel her eyes. She didn't want people to know the real reason why her eyes change colors so she tries to calm down but she couldn't- I think all that waters getting to your head. Stay out of it! -Janelle says this almost demoncally. She leaves the beach trying desperatly to calm down-
