Why do they want to join?: The pair originally met up in the kizingo'zaa but soon after their first litter was born the pride went through an upheaval. Asali, frightened by the new rules and personality of the pride, begged her blind partner to take her away. The pair left with their two young sons and spent a long time travailing. The two brothers grew up as rogues and left their parents to find their own way, but Asali still desired a safe home where she and Ozark could settle. Eventually Ozark discovered the Pridelands and Asali knew it would be their home from then on.

Why do they want to join?: After leaving his home in the mountains where he was a social pariah Ozark searched far and wide for a place where he could belong. The blind lion has always been able to see spirits of the dead as clearly as everyone else can see the rest of the world. After following a fruitless rumor of a pride that existed with the ability to see spirits like him he eventually found his way to the Kizingo'zaa who were just unusual enough that he felt less like an outsider.It was there that he met his mate, Asali and the two had a litter together. Unfortunately upheaval in the pride forced them to become rogues again, searching for a new home while they raised their boys. Their sons, now grown have gone off on their own, but the pair have still been seeking a home to call their own. Weary of traveling Ozark hopes that the Pridelands will be a new start for his sweet little mate where she can live safely and happily without the constant strain of rogue life.
Asali was a Healer in their old pride, while Ozark was an Usher. The pair work in perfect tandem and while Asali heals the injured and sick, Ozark, with his close connection to the spirits, assists in making the final arrangements and tending to those near the end of their life with the use of Asali's extensive herbal knowledge. He will also assist her in handling larger and more difficult, lively patients as well.

Why do they want to join?: As a male born into the Ithambo, Laini always knew he would elave his birth pride. Once an adult he indeed left and set about on his own journey. In the process he met, fell in love with, and mated to a female rogue. Sadly tragidy dtruck and Laini was left as a single father to two little girls, both too young to survive without their mother. in desperation he journeys all the way back home and left them with his own mother, knowing the two girls would at least have a fighting chance to survive. But still he could not stay in the Ithmabo without fighting the Umholi, so he was forced to leave again, and not wishing to live a life as a rogue any longer, he sought out a new home. He hops the Prideland will be a safe haven for him and any future family.

Why do they want to join?: Mashriqain once had a fling with a Pridelander named Tultulana, which resulted in oopsbabies and a sort of long-distance relationship. With the Jini-misemi disbanding, now's as good a time as any to actually move in with her mate! And she has (lots of) family here as well.
