The only thing that had changed in the room was the addition of a few new faces, a not dead rat king, and a helping of candy scattered about. Pumpkin pills? Maybe! Without another thought she plucked one up crushing it in her mouth. It wasn't healing her, but she felt a burst of something inside her.
If she had a heart and a properly flowing blood stream it would have been a shot of adrenalin.
In her case it was more like an over-abundance of that cold fire in her gut that was FEAR. It had to go somewhere right? Why not at the rat king again? You know, the one stealing her part from earlier.
Again.
Rat-tat-tat, her sword snapped at the ground cleaning rat goop off it before her FEAR erupted from her hand again, covering a brief part of the sword like her mace had done back on the island so long ago. She ran forward again bouncing off a chest left on the stage from the bedroom scene before digging the sword deep into the rat kings side. The blade snapped and Sammy fell rolling away with only a hilt and a tiny fragment of her once noble prop sword.
"I'm going to miss using one of those." She said with a pout before tossing the hilt to the side. "Back to brawling I guess. Suits me just as well."
My HP: 18 Damage Dealt: 10 (Y2 Battle Cry) Collective Damage to Boss: 94 Anything attacked/attackers should note: Secretly mourning the lost of her BFF prop sword.

Eyes wide at the other students' battle prowess (and also more than a little bit embarassed over the growing pool of vomit at her feet) Emily begins back out of the theatre, 'Um...I'll just..." flushing, she dropped her head down, "...go get help."

The thorns begin to make sluggish progress over the carpet again, giving The King a p***k or two. Barth pocketed the needle and thread as Christof lurched off to try to further punch the thing into submission. He had weathered the stitching with surprisingly no whining or moping, just a lot of sharp breathing and occasional abuse to his theater seat.
"Was-wasn't that the...girl from the cornfield?"

Fed up, Christof kicked the Rat in the stomach before staggering away, this time back towards Calder. "Will-stitch-you-up-to-but-somewhere-safer!" He signed frantically, still panting as he eyed the creature warily. HP: 40/40 Damage: 4 Collective Damage: 100

Sammy moved through the room taking a spot beside Barth, she nodded at Christof as well before turning to the sloth demon. "Emily is her name, she was the one... the hunters took back then." She glanced towards the Rat King again keeping a watchful eye on him should he decide to do something.
"She's been held up in her room since that trip, I honestly can't blame her. Had it been any of us we might be the same." She frowned a bit glancing around, where was that Claymore Hel was using during the show....

Edel re-entered the theatre to see the Rat King still... alive and attempting to terrorize.
She was just a little disappointed that the fight wasn't done yet. With a little sigh, the frost demon lazily flung an ice dagger in the Rat King's direction.

THE RAT KING

Status: The Rat King begins so swing it's arm around, throwing the foxfire off! But Jove's fur gives gives him a soft landing, curse you puppy-thing! The giant rat gives of an irritated shriek and goes to lie down in the corner, away from the horrid students. It looks like it took a lot of damage. It also looks like it's sulking now. This is not a new round but you may attack again! However the rat king has a headache and doesn't seem to want to play anymore. ):

Again the Rat King seemed to slink off to the side, this time it was sulking more then playing dead. So without another word the undead ghoul started to march her way over to the Rat. Eventually she was over into the Rat Kings corner arms crossed under her chest staring down at the kings face. Very slowly she nudged it's nose with her boot.
"Hey. Rat Face. Look at me. Can you talk? I want to ask you a few things. Either that or we can continue to beat the crap out of you. Your choice."

My HP: 27/40 Damage Dealt: 7 Collective Damage to Boss: Anything attacked/attackers should note: Calder looked up when Chrsitof went by, quickly signing in a way that Calder almost didn't understand, before he gave a smile. "No problem. I'll be...right here." This seat was nice. He was just going to ...sit here for a while.
As Barth mentioned a little ghoul from the cornfields, Calder looked out to see Emily, and smiled. "hheeey. HEY. Hey Emily!" He waved to the ghoul, thinking back to the island where he so desperately wanted to keep her safe. Ghoul had to be safe. She was going to get hurt, and she just got home.
Holding his gut, Calder moved up and slowly moved to the Rat King. Bad rat. Going to hurt people. Feeling faint, he went over and gave it a hard kick. Yeah. "Stay away from Emily." He huffed, swaying slightly.

Christof grunted. There was no point in continuing the attack.... but he gave the rat a firm kick as well anyway before grabbing Calder as though ready to haul him up- if he didn't weigh as much as a horse. A careful, loving drag towards Barth and the door would have to suffice since neither seemed to register his firm belief they needed to *get out of there*. Tybalt wasn't sure what do anymore, let alone think. One moment the rat king was ready to try and kill them all, the next? Moping in a corner.
What the hell was going on here? The last Joy creatures he had fought were much tougher than this. Annoying as hell, mind you, but they didn't give up like this one had. Whatever, better for them he supposed and the perfect time to make an exit.
Shrugging, the black dog walked over and plucked the wisp off the floor and headed for the door. Maybe they could go find some answers elsewhere. Besides, he had just about hit his limit for tolerating that peppermint stench.
Exiting!

and then...
...the music stopped. And so did the Rat King, collapsing lifelessly to the ground. No amount of prodding or poking creates a reaction. All is still.

Alwine looked at the lifeless Rat King and held a hand to her neck. They had done it! She glanced over at Calder and Christof once, then back to the Rat King. Then she looked at the boils once more before eagerly clapping her unseen hands.
"You did it! You struck the final blow! The Rat King is defeated!"
After a moment of applause, she slowly lowered her hands to her sides and quietly whispered: "Now what?"
