That bit of news made Tetsu want to run away with Kikala and just look for those packs, but he kept that restrained, "Hey...the hawks finished," Tetsu said grabbing the hawk and putting the fire out and letting it cool, for a few minutes, "You might want to let it cool for a bit...it's still hott."

Kikala kicked away the firewood, with still an ember glowing on it. She ignored that and scraped away the ashes, leaving a soft warm scoop in the ground. "Are you cold?" she asked Tetsu, who without fur would freeze in the snow. "You can change back to wolf form or sit in here," she said. Kikala sniffed the bird. "Pretty good," she observed and tore off a wing, which was still quite hot.

"See? Told you, but you might want to be careful, it's still a little hott." Tetsu said watching Kikala just ripping the wing off, then gently grabbing his wing, and yanking it off licking it a little before eating it.

Kikala almost laughed when she saw the dead hawk with no wings. She wolfed down the last bits of hawk in 5 seconds, and licked her lips once, smearing some on her nose.

Tetsu licked Kikala's face getting off the stain she had in her lips and continued with his licking showing affection to her.
