dennussieee xD heart <333 Would you be able to fly for free to England? o_o' ZOMGOMG YOU LUCKY BIATCH. Take me with you. mad Yeaup, only bad thing is flying standby. It's free, but you can't get on if there aren't any open seats. So we pretty much have to pray that people will miss their connections so we can fly places (which I don't like wishing bad things on people, so I'm torn)

starrenite SoulRanger important as in... awaiting for the call that'll let me live with my significant other... whoa, that IS important XD!! indeed.... she lives in the US... and i'm stuck in the freezes... erm... i mean Sweden... and i wanna be able to be with her without any troubles and stuff... so i'm waiting to see if i got a green card... if i got it... i'll get a call... if not... i'll have to wait another year... confused crying confused

dennussieee Aaah, so it's a bit hard to get a flight booked in connection with the one you're HOPING to catch? Flying standby you don't book flights. You get put on a standby list. You wait while the plane is boarded and then if there are open seats the Gate agent calls you to the counter and gives you a ticket to get on. So really it depends on the time of year, the day, the city, and the weather. Take for instance, I flew from my city Charlotte North Carolina to Phoinex Arizona last Monday night. Stayed there all day Tuesday doing what I had to do in town. Tuesday night I knew there was no way I could get on a direct flight from Phoinex to Charlotte so instead I caught the last plane going out to Philidelpia Pennsylvania. I arrived in Philly at 5:20am and ended up sitting in that airport for five hours because the first two flights out of there to Charlotte were packed full. I finally got on the 10am flight back to charlotte. Its almost too complicated but its better than spending loads of money
