((Thank you so much heart I finally understand your character... this is going to help me develope Yumi too. I do realize you have a lot more RPing experience than I do... I just happen to be a very curious person xd I always feel like I'm the only person who actually asks people a lot of questions about their RPing xp But I can't help it, I just want to understand what's going on... And sometimes it's actually funny to read the strange explanations they have!))
There was something... different about Yumi. It was not her stance, it was not they way she hold her katanas, neither the way she had pinned up her hair, but it was like her aura had somehow changed. Not much, there only seemed to be hint of coldness in the before so warm and friendly aura (considering she was an assassin). But the slight change in her aura was not the only thing that seemed different, something was seriously wrong. The dogs and cats could sense it, the people around her could sense it (even though they couldn't understand what the weird feeling in their stomach was).
Yumi burned her clothes once more. Now she changed into a cloak and some more practical, baggy, but still not too shabby clothes. Then she wandered through the city, aimlessly.
It took her a few hours before she suddenly stopped. She turned and glared at a small shop. This is it! I finally found it. She walked into the tiny shop, bowed to the shopkeeper. She said a few polite words before moving on to why she was actually here, the new katanas. She questioned the man about different swords and explained what she was looking for. A while the old man behind the counter stopped talking to think. He ran his fingers through his long beard, then looked up at Yumi again and smiled.
"I might have just the right thing for you... but you'll have to be prepared to pay." He smirked.
"That would be no problem." Yumi answered coldly. Impatiently she waited for the old man to show her the katanas.
"Calm down, you realize I'm not going to give these swords to just any person. I have a certain reputation to guard you know." Once more he ran his fingers through the beard, watching Yumi's reactions.
"Then what should I do?"
"Come with me." He lead her down some tiny stears and into a tiny room, with the walls covered with beautifully marked swords. "Now just answer this one riddle, it's a classic one. What walks on four legs in the morning, on two during the day and on three when it becomes evening?"
Yumi was surprised, it took her a while to actually remember the answer to the riddle. But she was sure she had heard it before. Then her face lightened up.
"I know, the human." She smiled. "Now you won't kill me, right?"
The man chuckled, "Very good, I was surprised you could actually figure it out. That riddle is one of my all time favorites, an egyptian I met many years ago told it to me, before stealing my wallet, since I didn't know the right answer. Yes, I really did enjoy travelling, but now I'm too old, travelling any further than just outside Osaka might kill me." He laughed, then walked over to a small wooden cabinet. When he turned back to Yumi he was holding two pitch black katanas in his hands.
Fascinated by the pure black color of the sword sheeths Yumi walked closer. She reached for one of the swords, lifted it up, weighed it in her hand, then finally unsheathed it. There was no sound when Yumi pulled the katana out of the sheath. On the blade there were a few delicately carved flowers in silver. The whole katana seemed to be made out of a very dark, nearly black metal, but as she asked the old man about it he only laughed and assured her there was nothing strange about it.
"Now take care of these sisters, they belong together and I haven't had the nerve to sell them separately. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a very high demand for a double pair of swords." He chuckled again.
"So how much do I owe you?"
The old mans eyes twinkled, "All those on the Shinsengumis side are my friends, don't worry, you'll need it... Yumi."
Yumi quickly left the building, so that the old man wouldn't have enough time to change his mind. After walking a few blocks she stopped and looked back, how did he know my name?
((After this I'll develope some fancy techniques for Yumi too... and from now on, she'll be a lot more nasty than she used to. IN fact, she's become quite evil by now... I guess she's finally snapped, in a weird self caused way surprised
And I'm also going on a vacation to France for 8 days today... so I'll be back on wednesday next week I think... just so that you'll be prepared!))

As she was wandering through the city, she bumped into a woman who had just come out of a small store (Mou), "Oh! Pardon me, I wasn't looking!" She grinned sheepishly at the woman and noticed the sword, "Whoa, that's gorgeous, you just got it?"

Chaos stood on a building watching her now and shook his head. He spoke and the wind carried his words to her ears before she left. "Yumi...we will fight soon...in the mountains by the waterfall where I was raised and you were trained...we will discover the truth there..." Chaos looked at Lotus and shook his head turning and disappearing from the rooftop and then racing away from the city. He had to find the only person he knew...who could fulfill the one favor he would ever ask in his whole life...he knew those swords...he had watched them be forged and watched their brothers come into existence...He had also the predecessor that they were forged after on his back...the orginal Masamune made by the master himself and not his pupils...Chaos moved faster than he had in days...few other than possibly Yumi would be able to keep up with him. Lotus' sword would stop vibrating after a bit...he was gone to get to another isle of Japan...he would find him and find out about the brothers...his weapons he had would stand no chance against the sisters...he knew that even if Yumi didn't...He stopped when he got to a port and went to find a boat...he was leaving...and he would have no distractions...they would only be vunerabilities. He sat at the front of the boat alone and in meditation and staring at the horizon as the man slowly rowed. Chaos sat in thought...

*Osaka shone bright in the dawn of the day. Houses after houses were lined up everywhere, leaving none or almost no roads. Osaka castle stood majesticly on the horizon, it's stone walls glistening under the sun's final light. Kira then looked away, as the sun finnaly set and looked to the other side. His eyes had changed and he no longer carried a white blue in them by a bloody red. His facial features changed from passive and carefree to fierce and ice cold. His right hand shook, excited as he smiled.*
Tonight is the night.........
*He sped off, left hand on his katana which now carried a white-ish glow, roof to roof headed towards the castle.*
I'm coming for you!!!!!!!!!!!..........

Chaos and his boat were approached by another with his informant on it...The man smiled slightly and spoke to him. "We have an assignment for you Chaos...you must pro" But before he could finish Chaos spoke without opening his eyes. "No...I am giving up this war...I have one fight left to finish my life...This revolution has to point to it...I kill for no reason...I was brought to change life...not destroy it...my blade is not made to kill...but you made me...I won't kill you though..." Chaos slowly looked up his normally grey eyes now a glowing gold as both their eyes connected. "Unless you don't leave me be...tell the boss I am finished...I have completed my debt and will be leaving now..." He turned his head to look at the island as the informant growled slightly but obviously shaken and scared as his boat floated off. Chaos no longer cared for this damned war...He had a fight against Yumi...but not to kill her....He couldn't lose to her...he had to show her...He had to win...he could not fight to not lose...he had to win...there was no other way...Chaos rose as the boat landed and stepped off. Chaos slowly looked back at the man and nodded to him slowly. "Thank you for your kindness and wonderful gesture...but now I must ask you to leave...I won't involve you in my matters..." He tossed much more than needed to the man and turned walking slowly toward the nearly uninhabited island and into the forest...Chaos would make his way to the village where his master had been risen...there were the great swordmakers...they were the ones who stuided to become sword masters or master smiths...There was nothing else...Chaos moved slowly now...He would have to pass their trials...and to do that...he must have his mind ready for them...He breathed deeply as he plunged into the forest...Now he was gone to the world...Only those who had already visited the village could find it...not even Lotus and her sword would find it if not lead by one who had been there...There was no way in because only Chaos' own master had left in the past 50 years...He had taken Chaos to the village to let him find it...Chaos still heard his masters' words. If ever you need a place to train...a place to lay your head...a place to find your soul weapon...come to my village...their village...our village...and find peace there. We are the People of the Sword...trust in us... So...that's what Chaos would do...and so he walked...it would be a good 4 day walk to get there...until then there was nothing he could do...

Chaos moved through the forest slowly and willfully. He had a purpose and a place to go...so he would go there. His eyes moved along the area making sure beasts didn't try to surprise him. He sighed as he walked searching for the place he had been to and then he saw it. He slowly exited the woods and there it was. The large and expanded city. People milled inside of it young and old training in the ways of the sword...these were the People of the Sword...these were the ones that people heard stories about...the few that left the isle to find better challenges...if there was such a thing...most left just to observe the outside, but were always welcomed back...Chaos slowly entered through the gate and stopped looking around for a while. He hadn't been at this village in a long time...close to 7 years or so. He smiled softly and nodded slowly as he began his descent into the village to speak with the people he knew and learn from them. Learn he would...they would teach him more than just the ways of the sword...but only minimally on that subject...they would teach him how to make the swords...the ultimate blades that were the best...he would have to learn quickly and perfect it...or else he would have to lose to Yumi...those were his choices...

Lotus could feel Chaos' withdrawl and had excused herself quickly from the girl. She followed his aura as fast she could, Geez he's fast! She cursed him in her head but he never seemed to move out of the range of her sword. The sword always hummed faintly by her side as she moved. One day it got drastically stronger and she stood at the top of a hill and looked down at a village and there he was, on his way down, "Chaos, you b*****d!" She roared down the hill at him.

Chaos slowly looked back up at her and his eyes seemed to cut through the air and the forest between them up to the hill she was on...she would have to travel through the forest to get to the village. His eyes seemed to tell her not to follow...He then turned and began to get lost in the town and was suddenly gone...he was going to work on his skills. He met with one of his masters' friends to learn sword making. The friend agreed glad to see he was ready to learn and so quickly. He spent the time off from the sword making class learning how to fight better...this village had fighters better than even he...His movements seemed anticipated and finally he was hit down by another of his masters' old friends. The man stood up and smiled shaking his head. "You must make your movements unpredictable...your stance can tell what you will do...but your name...it was given to you because at the time it was given you were a chaotic fighter...now that you have learned to fight with power and style...you must learn to fight without a trace...you must learn to fight in harmony with chaos...you must become the ultimate oxymoron to become the ultimate fighter..." Chaos nodded and bowed before excusing himself. He would continue to work. He was a quick learner and his mistakes were quickly fixed...He was making multiple swords per day seeming to exhaust himself before he began to fight in that same exhaustion...yet he never failed to improve...despite his exhaustion and weakness he worked harder and harder making more swords and more improvements in his style...to become chaotic without being chaotic...he would do it...he wanted to...to save her?...but why would he want to save this woman who wished to kill him...He would ponder this in all his free time at night trying to understand why he cared for this killer...this woman who wished to kill him...he would do it...he would defeat her...but he would not kill her...he couldn't...he wouldn't...that he knew...

Yumi continued down the road, she now knew where she was going. Silently, without caring about all the people around her, that seemed to avoid her, even though they couldn't notice that themselves.
After a 30 min walk, Yumi stopped. She knocked on the heavy oak door.
"Yes?" the door opened and a woman glared at her. Yumi just ignored the woman, pushed open the door and entered the house. She headed towards a room from where a loud conversation could be head. She knocked on the door then entered and immediately the conversation stopped.
"Yumi?" a surprised voice could be heard from a corner of the big room filled with people, it was followed by a long silence.
"I'm back..."

Chaos trained harder putting weights upon himself and his blade, keeping it balanced as he forced himself to move faster and faster fighting in a chaotic seeming way to even those in the village yet they still were able to block a good amount of his attacks. He continued in the furnace working and making better blades letting the metal be melted back down for each of the two swords making one and then the other trying to make it the best he could. He folded the metal more each time making the metal very powerful and long. It would be a fulled blade for both...a masamune type blade just not as long as the one on his back...the fabled one. He sweated and toiled to do better than he had ever done before. He had to improve his senses and make things better to defeat Yumi...This battle would decide many factors...This would decide how things would turn out for the rest of the war...His position was already replaced...they had another working and doing the same as he was...Chaos was simply better. He continued to work though...he needed to become better than he had been and make himself the best as he claimed to be...This woman was powreful...and she would be improving...there was no doubt to that...He would have to be better than her...better than this woman who against all odds seemed to match men and kill them coldly...He would have to stop her...that was his goal now...to win and defeat her...he had to

*During the past night, Kira had entered Osaka Castle, killing nearly 200 armed men, and had slain the Daimyo of Osaka. He now stood in a Ramen bar, slurping his noodles, as his keen ears listened to the conversations nearby. Apparently, no one who had seen the murderer had lived, leaving no clues except for his style of fighting. What had been uncovered was that he mainly used high-speed battou attacks and, by the depth of the stab wounds, high-speed stabbing.*
hum.....at least they didn't find out "those other ones.."
*Kira finished his meal, paid the bartender and left into the large shop district.*

Lotus had struggled through the woods and toiled to find Choas and finally found him, he was moving he sword quite quickly adn she watched him with an air of taking notes. She had had to slip in in the guise of of a maid but she had found him in this room and nearly started crying out of relief, she had no idea why. She said nothing but she was tense, she had gotten his warnign and chose to ignore it, he wasn't getting rid of her that easily and he needed to know that. But for now she watched him very impressed.
