Kaleb laughed a bit. "I wonder if I could come up with a spell that would make a shiny ball change colours on it's own. If that were possible, you'd be able to give him all sorts of colourful shiny toys."

"That would be awsome." her eyes widened slightly. Something that could change colors randomly would be even better for Vivace since he couldnt get bored with it.

Kaleb grinned. "I'll try then." He looked like he was about to say something else, but then he blushed brightly. "I-I did manage to make my hair change colour once, b-but that was just an invisibility spell gone wrong."

"Really?" She picked up one of her curls and looked at the dark red color. "I think i'd be sad if this changed colors." She chuckled. "So what color did you turn it?"

Kaleb's fidgeting increased somewhat, and he adjusted his glasses before replying. "A-all sorts of colours, really. At first it was blue, but then it kinda changed to purple, and then back to blue..." He trailed off, momentarily distracting himself with the thought that Nonet's hair was a rather pretty colour.

She giggled. "So you had rainbow hair? Did it turn pink?" That would have been funny even if it was probably tramatic.

With the way he was blushing now, Kaleb probably didn't even have to answer Nonet's question. "I-It was only one colour at a time, but it did turn pink once..." Thank goodness he had been at home making dinner and not out at the park studying when that colour had appeared.

"I-it's okay, really." He assured Nonet. Of course, her pink hair comment didn't help his blush. But then again, any line about him being cute seemed to get him flustered. "I-I never really thought about it..."

"Maybe someone will convince you to do it one day" It would be intresting to see. Plus it would be intresting to see someone that could convince Kaleb to do something like that

"I-I doubt it," Kaleb said, adjusting his glasses again even though they were perfectly straight to begin with. "Anyway, I might be able to adapt that spell to work on nonliving organisms," he said hopping back to their original topic of discussion. Luckily he kept detailed notes, so he would know exactly what he had done to accidentally mess with his hair that one time.

Kaleb nodded. "I'd definitely help teach you if I can figure it out." Although it didn't quite fit in with most of his research topics, it would be good practice for his abstract thinking and problem solving skills.
