His expression remained hard to read. He honestly didn't know if he would or not, but he certainly got sick of her saying that. He'd loved too much, too many, for her to dismiss it as just nothingess. He knew there was truth to it, yes. But, still. How could he have not loved them? As far as he was concerned, finding someone attractive, wanting to sleep with them, equalled love. His head snapped up to face her, the slightest of angered expressions on his face.
"I'm not exactly talking we have a big white wedding, or even have one at all. But I know how I feel, and if you deny me that... I'll spank you..."
Having no idea why he said that, he interestedly stared at his fingers once more, although he was actually looking past them, to the floor.

*Crim's eyes shifted to the floor, uncertain what to think about all this. So he was one of them. One of those poor fools blinded by his lust for a woman. How shallow. How utterly shallow. Crim had expected that he was one of those people ages ago when he first asked her to start dating him. That memory was so far away now, though. Seemed like it had been years ago instead of simple months. Not quite wanting to have a bullet in her brain, regardless of whether it was an empty threat or not, Crim kept her thoughts to herself. If he was indeed just after her a**, then there wasn't much doubt that he would just kill her for the hell of it. But she couldn't tell from his expression when she stared up to his face. Was it a bluff?*
Um...er...So you're a manwhore or what, and-WHAT!?! Spank me!? What the ******** style="color: darkred">*Crim's voice turned shrill, somewhat offended by that comment. Of course, her angel side was a bit of a masochist and would probably enjoy it despite the fact that her demon mentality preferred to dish the pain than take it. But because both of those secrets had yet to be revealed to Crim's full consciousness, she didn't know that.*
What the hell would spanking me do other than piss me off?

Oxy chose to ignore this. He didn't know, she didn't know, there was no need to talk about it. He kept his voice low, staring at the floor, his hands now by his sides.

His voice still low, Oxy couldn't help be reminded of the times he had used this tone before.

A shrug made the whole situation seem rather surreal, and he gazed up to Crimson, looking into her eyes.
"I'm just a guy who hates to be alone."

*One of Crim's eyebrow raised up, noting the different tone in Oxy's voice as his reddish colored eyes seemed to bore into her clear emerald ones.*
...Is that why you're here, in Gaia...leading a mafia? You just...you just want followers, don't you?...And...What do you expect me to do about that? I'm not going to take pity on you for hating to be alone. That's your own problem....but..........I just...I...I don't know...There are times when I simply can't get you out of my head...There are times that I just want to be with you...Do...do you ever feel the same way? And...what is that feeling? When you feel so incredibly happy, and yet so scared and sad at the same time?

"I am here because... I never wanted to inherit this... thing.. this cancerous ulcer of beings that calls themself a mafia. I was in the right place, at the right time. bloodshot left, I took over, since there needed to be some kind of organisation."
A small sigh punctured the breif silence he had left, as he slowly walked to the sofa Crimson was on, sitting down.
"I don't need followers. I don't need anyone beneath me, but that's the situation I'm in. And I'll live with it, until the mafia crumbles, or I die."
Again, a small pause.
"That feeling... Is Want. Need. Desire. Try and ignore it, you'll soon go mad. Worse than you are already."
He laughed a little as he remembered some of the times he had encountered her angel side, the memories bringing floods of some hormone that made him feel good. He didn't care what it was, but he was sure glad for it's presence right now. Oxy quickly stopped laughing, realising Crimson might take it the wrong way.
"Just at your angel side... She.. or it.. whatever... is crazy, y'know?"

*Crim just sat there for a few minutes, somewhat shocked at all this and yet at the same time, almost expected it. She looked at Oxy, but then looked down at her hands resting in her lap. So he never wanted to be the godfather...just like she never wanted to be the Donnita...And those feelings did have names.
She fell into thought, but was broken out of it by Oxy's laughter. Tilting her head to the side, she blinked a few times, wondering what he was laughing about before breaking into a small smirk.*
My angel side...it's...it's just a part of me...I don't know how else to explain it. But anyways, who are you calling crazy? Sanity is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose.

His head turned and he looked at her critically.
"I'm the sanest person around. Ain't no denying it."
Oxy smirked a little himself at the double negative, and relaxed slightly in the sofa, tension seeping away like a bitter tide on a new day.[Me? Using poetic similes? I don't think so...]
"How about it, Crimmy?"

*Crim blinked a few more times, Oxy's words not quite making sense for a moment because, for that moment, she had forgotten that he was the Don and she the Donnita. But at the last comment, she broke into a grin and laughed under her breath*
Well I dunno about that, I think that those Freelance cop people are still after us and probably the GFBI...Calling attention to this place wouldn't be the best idea, methinks. But meh...just my thoughts.
