*arches eyebrows* Greediness for foals? FOr the most part, ALL my couples are roleplay couples. Crowley's my first real exception but it fits his character anyway. It is not about getting foals, period. And I am slightly offended and upset it's implied in my case to be such. And the fact that I find it disrespectful to Syrnyx as well who was asking to breed her ONE Soquili she has right now so she could HAVE a chance even.

It does NOT give you a better chance, AND it also helps promote people to STILL interact, and QUITE lastly, the fact is, 1 soq an owner punishes people from interacting with older owners with more soqs who have bad luck/older pairs who haven't mated and one at a time get stuck waiting.

I do NOT have better odds of EITHER being able to breed at ALL. Especially not in a system like this, which makes everyone already have WAY more chances to boot for roleplaying their couples and/or lifemating them.

Pardon my wording, I meant if I tried with more than one couple myself, I would consider MYSELF greedy. ::shrugs:: What anyone else does is up to them entirely. It isn't mine to dictate.

Frankly, I won't allow my soquili's to breed unless I get a basket out of it. I don't like the rule that we can only keep one. I put a lot of gold and time into my pets, too much to be forced to give a basket away.

Ah, well, sorry for misinterpreting. As a general rule I try not to think of only myself all the time, which is part of the sticking point of my argument here. I only have 3 Soqs potentially looking at relationships, and one is far from ready.

Glory is owned by rein, who DOES have a number of Soqs. The other two potentials... have 2 and 1 Soq each. If Glory/Kahaina fails AGAIN -- whcih si very likely as mu luck tends to eb fickle and LAME among other things (8, 10 pulled last raffle, I was 9 ... talk about ouch) ... well, then, at 1 soq/entered, it would hurt BOTH potential others invovled with mine. Which would SUCK to make them have to wait because of my bad luck. At least at a 2 Soq cap, then at elast one of them would be able to enter the pair.

So THEY get a chance. It's hardly MY chances I'm thinking of (and even then, it's not bettering them by much at all if you even WANT to think it does) ... it's others.

And yes - if both are RP'd and entered together, each entry hurts the other's chances, and likely STILL end up with a couple waiting some more for their chance at a family. If one of two wins, it takes those Soqs out of the next month's raffle anyway, freeing room, AND also means that the OTHER pair could have a shot.

Not that randomizers are nice. I went looking back at raffles and a lot of 1-entry couples have landed slots as well without having tried before. wink As Sayuri said, it's STILL blind luck in the end. Even with two, soeeon COULD still miss both completely.

Also, the 1 basket per thing... really kind of hurts co-owner agreements as well by forcing certain things. Although many of us with multiple soqs DO have a penchant for wanting to gift off baskets from breedings anyway.
