Allen let out his breath slowly. He hadn't realized how scared he'd become. What if she'd been hurt? "You scared me." He murmurred, reaching out in the darkness to touch her cheeks, turning her to face him in the dark to which his eyes were beginning to adjust. "Are you alright?" He asked softly, cold due to his lack of shirt or shoes.

"The way you were screaming..." he began, but her words about not wanting to talk about it. He laughed softly in the dark, touched by her concern. "I'm fine." He reassured her, letting her hold his hands without pulling away.

She slid out of the bed and, still holding his hands, pulled him across the room to the bed he'd chosen, not seeming bothered at all by the pitch blackness through which he stumbled. With cat-like grace she turned him around and tried to push him onto the bed, and for the first time since meeting him seemed to realize that he was physically stronger than she. But her warm hands touched his bare chest, causing his breath to catch.

He laughed, causing his chest to move, causing shivers to race down his spine, since her palms were against his skin. "And who are you to be sending me to bed?" He bantered, trying to ignore how much he enjoyed the feel of her palms against his skin. Bad, bad, Alan.

Who knew that being growled at could be such a turn-on? Bad, bad Allen. This whole mall thing was getting to his head! It couldn't be natural to want to pull her into the bed with him. And good heavens, she was cute when she pouted.

He flushed at the blunt honesty in her words, and actually had to bite his lip to keep himself from saying "that can be fixed". That was the last thing either of them needed. Instead, he meekly murmurred, "Alright, you win."

He laughed quietly as she celebrated her victory, commenting "Don't get too cocky now, sweetheart." He grinned at her as again she tried to man-handle him. "I'm still bigger than you are." He purred, caught up in the moment of light-hearted bantering. His words came out rather seductive.

"I have a right to be cocky." He teased with mock conceit, reaching for her. He hardly thought about it as he dragged her closer, then lifted her up and cradled her against his bare chest like a baby. "I'm just that good." He bantered with aggressive affection. With a nice, smooth movement he turned, dumped her on her back on the bed, and slid on top of her. They'd been in this position before - he straddling her hips with a hand at either side of her head, looking down into her eyes. For a moment he didn't speak as he tried to process what he'd just done. It had been so natural, so easy. Picking up where they left off...

The only sound was their breathing as he stared down at her, his expression unreadable. He couldn't even think what to say. No stupid excuse would make up for this. And even scarier was the fact that he didn't want an excuse. He'd just thrown her into bed and all he could think about was what to say to get her to kiss him. His emotion was obvious in his eyes, especially to the girl who could read his mind from across the room no matter what he was thinking of. Passion, wanting, thrill of danger, even a little fear. The moment seemed to stretch forever.
