The figure got very close to her, towering over her short size.
"Material wealth means nothing to me. I require only the red stones... so, unless you know where to find the red stones... I'm afraid your manners have earned you a free euthanasia."

Ada was now scared and backed away. She drew a transmutation circle on her hand real quick, put her hands to the ground, and made the earth under the man wrap around him. She then ran off back to her inn room.

The figure smirked from beneath his hood.
"Alchemist!"
He tore through the rock with elongated claws and dashed after the girl.

When Ada got to her room she transmutated the wood of her bed into a bracer for the door. She then blocked the window with the night stand, transmutating it into a solid block of wood.

The figure sliced through the door with his claws, shattering it into pieces.
"Fool! Doors against a homunculus a good defense does not make!"

Ada gasped as the stranger said he was a homunculus. She looked around for a way out and decided to jump through the window. She moved the block of wood out of the way and jumped. She started to run towords the headquarters, knowing that there were stronger alchemists there.

The figure's speed was too great and he caught up to her in a short time, grabbing a hold of her.
"You're mine now, human!"
He pulled her into the darkness of an alley.

Ada strugled, but it was no use. She was put up against a wall, unable to move. She then felt a water spicket(sp?) and put her hand on it. She still had the transmutation circle on her hand and made water come out. It surround the homunculus and she turned it to ice, leaving the humonculus in an ice block. She then ran behind the other man.

Tai heard the shattering of a window and awoke from his sleep. He got up and walked out into the street, careful to make sure it wasn't a trap set by a State Alchemist. He was surprised to find that his energy had returned until he saw that it was about a few hours from when he entered the alley. He ran towards the sound to find a homunculus chasing a girl. However, they were in the main part of Central. And so he was sure to be caught if he went there, even to do something good. He laughed to himself at the thought of good coming from his actions. He slowly walked back to the alleyway he had taken refuge in.
