Jeff smiled. "It isn't morning anymore now is it there, my dear boy?" He sighed and rested a hand on Yakov shoulder and sat up himself. His head hurt. "I think I have teh worlds worst headache!"

Yakov kissed him on the cheek again. "I think I have something that might make you feel better." He reached under the bed and pulled out Jeff's guitar.

Jeff stared at Yakov in disbelief. "You...her...my...my baby..." He reached out with a shaking hand and took his guitar in his hands. He cradled it and carressed it. A single tear fell from his eye. "Thank you!"

"Jeff.......I...um...I don't suppose you could maybe play that song that you wrote for me?"

Jeff smiled, "Of course I can. I have it memorized after all." He pulled his guitar out of the case and started tuning it. Once he was satisfied with it he began singing the song that Yakovs presence had inspired. While sining he closed his eyes and went to a special place in his mind where no one could touch him. One he was done playing he opened his eyes and looked at Yakov.

"And to think I thought it was beautiful on paper. But when you sing it...it...well...how do I explain this?" He looked up at Jeff for a second and then being very careful of the guitar, he attached his lips to Jeff's.

Jeff set her baby down on the floor next to the bed without breaking away from Yakov lips. He brought up his hands and caressed yakovs face. He needed this now more than ever if not to prove to his own brain that Yakov was worth staying alive for.

With the guitar gone, Yakov completely ignored any caution. He pressed him self as close as he could to Jeff and increased the passion of his to match how the song had really made him feel, plus a little extra for the feeling of Jeff's hands on his face.

Jeff slid his hands down to Yakov back and kissed back just as passionately. He leaned back and pulled Yakov on top of him. He was enjoying himself too much and his body rebeled against him. Jeff winced and broke the kiss. Pain shot up through his wrists and traveled up him arms and into her neck.

"Jeff, oh my god, are you okay. Did I hurt you? What happened?" He made sure that all of his weight was being supported by the bed and not Jeff.

Jeff smiled through his winceing. "I'm...ok. I forgot about my wrists..." He let go of Yakov and looked down at his wrists. They were starting to bleed through the bandages again.

"Damnit boy." Yakov went over to his sink, got some gauze and redid Jeff's bandages. "Didn't anyone ever tell you that that stuff is supposed to stay inside." He secured and kissed each wrist.

"Well yeah...my mother was pretty upset the first time she saw my scars..." Jeff sighed and wondered what his mother would do if he visited her. Jeff was supposed to be what...40 now? He looked no older than 20. He knew she was sick, his father had sent him a letter a year ago, telling hi, she didn't have much time left. But when Jeff called the house she refused to talk to him, explaining loudly that she had had no son.
