Minielf Chemical_Kitten I confess that I just received an academic excellence award from the uni in the mail today and i'm going to frame it xd That's so awesome Mel! biggrin You're finally been recognised for your hard work! Looks like the year of torment you suffered last year was worth it afterall. yeah.. my parents kind of are expecting me to get it again this year but i don't know.. i've gotten slack and i'm going to have to really pull myself together xp

My dad has been asking our local council to put a tree in our front nature-strip for about two years now. We finally got one today, and it's not even native.

Last year with Green Corps I got to kill a stand of non-native trees that the council planted like a year earlier xd it was fun.

I confess that I have a new addiction to cup noodles and
fortune cookies that will compefully enlighten my life and
bring uber joy to those around me.
A slightly ambitious plan, but with glue in just the right places,
it might actually be sucessful!

As for the native tree thing, me and the oldies plum on out to
the local tree-centre to pick a couple of native plants every year.
We just said: screweet, if the council ain't gonna give us a native
one, then wesa just gonna go out and choose one out selves,
dameet! *self-righteous angst*
