Personality:cocky smart and often times angry with authority and is seen as a "problem child" for his ability to have problems listening to orders being an expert warrior he goes on his own to become the best and leaves everyone behind if need be
History: used to be part of a military academy and fought several times in several battles with his rival and former comrades and childhood friends after supposedly "betraying" them which he did for reasons which he doesnt speak of anymore being long gone from that place and having left his only two friends behind as their posse slowly lost touch and has become ever more desperate for glory and reaching his dreams Alright, Im going to comment on your profile just like I did every one else's when they joined.
smile 1. What you've got there for magic doesn't convince me that you understand how the bonding works? If he was aware of magic at all he would be hard pressed to hide it AND it would necessarily be of poor/weak quality because a strong bond is what lets your dragon lend you magic.
2. While there IS a military school that some men are sent to, your character could not get far in life without obeying orders. Few men become commanders of anything and the ones that do earn that role in part by being trustworthy. If your man won't follow orders he might be pulled out of his military job entirely and might not have ever made it to the school in the first place. They'd find a job for him that any one can do, like a wagon driver. It's fine that he doesn't want to obey, but you need to either show the consequences of that or else have him compromise a lot to save his skin. Maybe he betrayed his friends by tattling on them?
