The other chefs around kind of gave room to the to of them. Rocks was confused, Zeff stared at him for a long time. He finally spoke. "Are you hungry?" Rocks shook his head. "I....just heard the food was good here." If Rocks was really hungry he'd just go to the bottom of the ocean and eat whatever came his way. The man stared at him even more. Rocks wasbecoming uncomfortable. "If it's too much of a problem..." Rocks was cut off by a kick coming towards his head. He blocked it with his own leg, showing great flexibility for someone of his size.

After the clash, their legs slowly went back to the ground. Rocks had no idea why he had been attacked, but it wasn't the first time something like that had happened. He figured he had done something wrong. Zeff was about to kick Rocks out of the Baratie, but he saw his speed and skill and was impressed. Though he was a little slow, he was flexible and strong. "You shouldn't come into a restaurant asking for free food, especially when you aren't hungry." Rocks realized he was right.

A restaurant couldn't possibly survive if everyone was given free food. By this time everyone that was still in the place was looking at the two. Rocks nodded and turned to leave, before a loud noise could be heard approaching the Baratie. It was a group of pirates, coming to pillage the place. Zeff touched Rocks' shoulder. "Tell you what....if you can get rid of these guys, I'll give you all the free food you want." Rocks didn't see this as much of a problem, so he graciously accepted, stepping onto the balcony as the ship arrived.

"Hey, Turtle-Kid!" Zeff yelled. This annoyed Rocks a bit, he was probably his elder by 5 years or so, but he ignored him. "Make sure you only use your legs to beat them!" Rocks was now handicapped a bit, but with his balancing skills it shouldn't be too much of a problem. He needed to work on his technique anyway. As the crew emerged off of the ship it appeared there were more of them then Rocks first thought. The people in the shop grew quiet and watched Rocks as he stood on the deck with the approaching pirates.

Accepting Rocks' obvious challenge, the pirates head directly his way. The first one was warmly received with a quick kick to the head and then the stomach. This sent him sprawling back into some other pirates, knocking them down in the process. The rest of the first wave was taken care of shortly, this was either the pirates that got off the ship first or the fast ones. Rocks had a little rest before the next group came. The people in the ship began cheering for him a bit, since he was protecting them.

Yoh docks his boat as he step off looking upon the floating restaurant. Very much excited to get in and see what was happening. Yoh just so happen to have a big grin on his face. "I can't wait to get in here so I can learn a few skills here and there." Yoh said, as he enters looking around at the many customers wait to be seated as well as served. When it came time for you to be seat he simply made a small request. "Yes I would like to speak with chef Zeff about learning how a chef please" Yoh ask. As the waiter simply reply in a manner using no word for holding up a single finger.

Yoh was still looking around the place still impress by what he saw. "Boy this place seems like it is live and jumping every minute of the day. I wonder what it is like in the kitchen.......then again maybe that is something I will never know." Yoh said, as he saw chef Zeff walking right towards his, Peg leg and all and seems to be rather pissed. or maybe that was was just him. "How may I help you boy? you don't like like you want to be a cook." Yoh told chef Zeff the reason he was there and they both walk outside and around the corner. "Lethal Kick, a very quick, powerful kick to the opponent's head or stomach." He explain to Yoh ready to see him do the move. Yoh took a step back with his right, and quickly kick into the air at a angel.

"Now you must learn the two kick combo which similar to lethal kick. Except you will need to kick for the head then stomach, with the same leg alright?" Chef Zeff said, as he begins to play with his bead in a rather odd way. Yoh, with joy smile keeping in mind the mental notes he received from. Yoh pot his right foot on the ground as he then step back once. His leg with great force and energy quickly jet into the air. As you could see the air blow Zeff's hair back some.

After the one single kick Yoh rest his foot back on the ground not going for two kicks just yet. To him the first kick didn't feel right at all, not how he wanted to use it in battle if anything. Yoh step back with his right again, and kick into the air with great force and focus. Repeating this step over and over getting use to it, knowing that most of his moves happen the be kicks.

"I have a question Zeff, and I was wondering are most of your techniques kicks? If so this is the reason why I keep on repeating the same kick over and over." Yoh said, as he switch legs and begin to step back and kick with his left leg instead. Yoh wanted to be even out, so no one could find a blind spot in his style. As he kept on kicking the air watching the air blow againist Zeff somewhat.

"Yes you have the right idea on what my kicks are like, but try to two kick combo. I am very sure you have the skill and are ready to do so." Zeff said, as his begin to mess with his mustache some. Twisting it this way and that way watching closely. Yoh took a step back with his right leg and raise it high and quickly into the air. The kick was rapid and would surely hit a face, and right after Yoh bent his leg some and lower it to deal another kick. At the right range to hit someone in the stomach.

"Now I want you to go inside and ask for a cook, those basic kicks will last you till you are ready to learn some more." Chef Zeff said, as he nod his head at Yoh, dismissing him to do what he had ask of him. Yoh enter the restaurant as he walk up to a waiter, "Yes I will like to speak to a cook please." Yoh ask, with a small smile wiping the sweat off his head. "Which cook would you like to speak to? Carne? I think he is free right now if he could serve you." The waiter said, ready to walk away at any given minute to find him.

"Yes Carne would do fine, I hope this doesn't take too much of his free time, or break. Where ever he may be on at the moment." The waiter said as she left Yoh to go check on Carne and get him to meet with Yoh. Yoh only waited about 15 minute till Carne came to meet him finally. "Yes I am Carne and who would like to see me?" Carne said, looking around with a big question mark on his face. "It would be I, Yoh Zala and I was hoping you could teach me who to make a meal, aiding my quest to become a chef please sir. I wont take up too much of your time." Yoh said.

"Humm I think I can do that, I am Carne as you already know. Just follow me to the kitchen and I will have to creating magic in no time alright." Carne said, as he lead the way to the kitchen. Yoh simply nods his head and follow him into the kitchen ready to create some *magic* as Carne put it. Carne lead the way into the kitchen point out everything Yoh would need to know and basically all the basics. "Okay some you will be making a Eggs Benefit and it is easy as it sound. On top of that you can be creative and add extra, what ever you sole wants really okay. Now how me what you got and get started.

Yoh turn the grill on to the right temperature and sat a pan upon the stove. Waiting for it to heat up some before really getting started. He pulls out tow eggs and crack both of them, letting the sizzle around the pan some. As if the eggs were just dancing around the pan. Yoh grab the beater and stared up the eggs as he adds extra to how he would like. Flipping the pan up and send the eggs benefit into the air. Yoh sat the pan down and quickly grabs a plate, as the meal land upon it. The food was now serve and ready to go, as Yoh packs it for his trip. Carne praise him for his good doing as Yoh left to travel for his fruit finally.

The cheering made Rocks feel a lot more welcome on the floating restaurant. He could smell fish cooking, smelled like some kind of salmon. Smelled like it would taste much better than when he ate it raw, and that was delicious. He scoped out the incoming pirates with careful eyes. Since he wouldn't be using them, he tucked his hands behind his back. He would only use them for balance if needed. But he was already on a level where his balance was nearly flawless.

The second group slowed down a bit after seeing Rocks' power. They were possibly waiting for more pirates to arrive. Some even had a fearful look on their face, unable to show any bravery at all. Rocks formed his face into the gruesome grin that he needed much practice at, this scared the group even more. After a few more seconds, the group ran towards him. He kicked the first guy with another two kick combo. Then he leapt into the air and drop kicked a group of them. This was becoming fun.

Just then Rocks could hear shots being fired. Seemed the snipers of the crew were doing their job, unfortunately they were all terrible shots. This was a crew of quantity and not quality. Many of the shots bounced off of his nearly invincible shell, but Rocks put his head into the shell for protection just in case one got lucky. He even put his arms in too. Now he kicked in all directions, usually hitting. Deciding this owuld take too long, he poked his head out enough so he could see.

He had to avoid a horizontal sword coming by ducking quickly, and seeing opportunity as he came back up he kicked with great force. Unwittingly he had used kick upperuct, and it was something he would use again someday as he noted it's power. The pirate flew several feet into the air, and if Rocks had been fighting a stronger opponent he would have been able to create some kind of combo out of the kick. he watched in happiness as the pirate slammed back onto the deck. It was at this time the ship greatly quieted and the group stepped aside to make room for someone.

The man approaching was rather large, taller than Rocks by about two feet. He must have been over 8 feet tall. And he seemed to be a little muscular. This didn't really intimidate Rocks though, as long as he was the first to attack he was sure things would end up okay. If not, he always had his shell to retreat into. The man suddenly jumped into the sky as his crew cheered loudly. One of them screamed. "I haven't seen captain do this in a while!!" Rocks became a bit worried.

Just in case, Hiruma hid in his shell. From the sound of it, this would be a powerful attack and Rocks hoped his shell could take it. Coming down at breakneck speed, the man would drop his leg directly on top of Rocks shell. The shole ship shook as the hit connected. He had performed some kind of crazy atomic leg drop, a very powerful attack on a normal person. The wood paneling cracked a lot under the weight, plummeting the two underwater. This was Rocks' strong point.

Rocks left his shell as the two got deeper. He noticed a red color to the water, must have been blood. But Rocks didn't feel at all damaged by the kick, though it was very powerful. Upon inspection of the man, he had actually dropped his leg on one of Rocks' spikes, injuring himself. With a pained expression on his face he now swam towards the surface. Rocks met him before he got there and helped him to the top with a powerful underwater Kick Uppercut. The man jetted out of the water through the hole he made on deck.
