Divena Sophie choked on a laugh. Oh that was great! She decided that she liked the yellow peg. "So you can react normally," she snickered at Tarvek.

Celeste Aragorne Inside the cave-like building, the five council members stood tall and proud with a large cache of eggs behind them. The Elder stepped forward, "The valley dwellers are here. If you would please, explain the situation to them." "With great regret, we have brought you here in hopes that you may help us," one of the council members stepped forward, "For some time now, our people have been under the effects of a curse. This curse has caused all newborns to be trapped within eggs of stone. Due to this, we have stopped breeding altogether. Many attempts have been made by our kind to try to break the curse, but all have failed. We probably would have gone forever without asking you for help; however, the situation has become dire. The volcano above us has been fuming quite feriociously as of late. All signs point to a large eruption soon, and we are without the strength to move all these eggs to safety."

Divena "Just make sure you don't crash the blasted thing!" Sophie groaned. "You'll break all the eggs." Not to mention it would take even longer to get his ship airworthy if he crashed it.

Bardess Ookami "My ship will not crash. It runs on a sensible locomotion. Steam. The volcano will help, if anything." He blinked, realizing that maybe he could capture the natural heat from the volcano.....

Celeste Aragorne "We were cursed by the evil Bone Sea sorceress, Morticia. She tried to over-run our lands. It took quite a while, but we managed to push her back. As she retreated, she placed the curse. The eggs are solid through from what we can tell. None of our magics have worked to tell much more," the Scarlet macaw sighed. "We plan to move them to the other part of the range in the Valley. The elder may trust in you, but the rest of us are quite skeptical," another spoke up, "So, we have devised a series of tests for you to prove your worth. The first of which shall be held by myself." "I come from a long line of raptors," he smiled slyly, "And as such, my food of choice is fish. My task for you is to go fishing. You are allowed 5 casts of your line. The person with the most overall wins." ((Roll 1 20-sided die. You have 5 rolls. The person with the highest total wins the Council member's trial and takes him home.))
