Lucian gave a howl of terror. "Lily!" Lucian grabbed up the small male and held him to his chest. "Lily? Lily, please wake up! Please! Rosemary!" Rosemary placed her hand to Leo's forehead and chuckled. "She is fine, Prince, just weak. Take her to my room to rest and get her something warm to ingest when she wakes." Lucian rose to his feet and cradled Leo's body. "I didn't mean for you to kill yourself to save my friend."
Lucian followed Rosemary to her room and laid Leo down on the bed. Rosemary handed a comb to Lucian and smiled. "Comb out her hair and then tuck her in. Maybe she'll wake before your finished. I'll go make some soup for her. Does she eat meat?" Lucian looked at Rosemary with confusion. "Why do you ask?" Rosemary looked away from his intense eyes. "Many Bentians are not given such things as meat because we are not considered people as much as pets. Some aren't even given real food and are forced to eat the same foods as the animals themselves." Lucian scoffed in disgust. "Bring her a vegetable soup so it wont be to heavy on her stomach." Rosemary bowed and left the room.
Lucian took the comb and gently began to comb through Leo's hair. You are to beautiful to be treated in such a way. I'll never let anything so foul happen to you ever again. I care for you to much." Lucian leaned down and kissed Leo's forehead.

 Leo's eyes flutter when his forehead was kissed and he looked up into the face of his master. "Lucian-sama?" he whispered softly, a confused look corssed over his face and he tried to sit up, "what happened?" he went over what he could remember and could only guess that he'd passed out. "forgive me, sir, i didn't mean to worry you." he smiled a little and glaced down at the bed he was sitting in, "oh-you didn't need to go so far for me, Lucian-sama, i would have been fine there." he blushed a little and bit his lip, "thank you for your care-" he slipped the comb from Lucian's hand and began to comb out his own hair, the water still in his long locks soaking into his skin and leavinghis hair dry while helping to sustain him. he didn't know how he'd survived so long without his abilities-but maybe they had still been there for may a times Leo'd felt better after washing, even if it was just a little ((sorry it took so long to reply and nice pic!))

Lucian took the comb back and combed Leo's hair, leaning the male's head against his chest as he did so. "You worry much to much about appearances. When it is only us, you don't have to play the helpless victim, it doesn't fit the fire that glows in those vibrant eyes." Lucian kissed the top of Leo's head, inhaling the sweet, ocean-like smell that lived within the male's body.
Rosemary came back into the room carrying a tray with a warm soup and two cups."This ought to bring her body back up to speed! This soup is homemade from Mama's garden. Shoulda seen those carrots, Lulu! They were massive!" Lucian gave a soft chuckle, pointing to the table for Rosemary to set the tray on. "Thank you so much Rosemary. We won't take up your space much longer." Rosemary chuckled. "Tis not a thing, Prince. The new Princess brought Cade back from the edge of death! Now we just have to retrain him not to be such work hog! He hasn't stopped cleaning and finding things to fix since he rose from the tub! I'm happy to have him back, but he's gonna send himself right into the grave if he doesn't calm down!"
Lucian gave a chuckle and picked up a cup. "He's just happy to be alive and well, let him work some of his new found life off." Lucian took a sip of from the cup and gave a hard cough. "What is this!?" Rosemary chuckled. "Ale of course! The best this side of the Isles! Mama's Grandfather ran an small brewery in this building before he pasted and he pasted his skills to Mama. Now she makes ale in the basement. That's her 'weary traveler' brew. The one in the other cup is the 'sweet and slow' brew, perfect for the sick or someone who had to much of the heavy stuff." Lucian shook his head then downed the rest of the cup, giving a full shudder. "Is it supposed to burn?" Rosemary nodded.
(HA! if anything i should apologize for being gone for so long XD and that picture was for another one of my RPs in the yaoi guild...had to get an autoformat for that one X_X )

Leo smiled when Rosemary described how Cade was acting. "He'll feel energized for a while, it's a side effect of the healing." he said softly, "he should be back to his usual energy levels by tomorrow." his gaze fell on the food brought in and he glanced at Lucian before dropping his eyes to the floor and folding his hands in his lap. from what Rosemary'd said he assumed the soup was for him but he didn't dare assume. even with the way Lucian had been treating him traits beaten into him for years didn't disappear so easily. the smell caressed his nose and his stomach growled loudly, causing him to blush bright red and cover his stomach with his hands, "i'm sorry, Lucian-sama!" he said quickly, horrified his body had betrayed him.

Lucian took the soup from the soup and took a quick taste. "MM, home cooking. I miss that stuff. Can you make another bowl for me before I eat my poor darling's?" Rosemary nodded and bounced from the room. Lucian turned back to Leo and smiled, offering the male a spoonful of the warm broth. "Come on darling, take a little sip and see if you're strong enough to eat.

Leo instantly opened his mouth for the broth, his eyes lifting to meet Lucian's. he leaned forward and closed his mouth slowly around the spoon and his eyes fluttered shut in happy food pleasure as the broth hit his tongue. he pulled away, his lips traveling over the spoon and finally he was sitting back in his original pose, his eyes closed now rather than just looking down. eventually they opened and he looked up at Lucian a small smile on his lips, "that was delicious...it-it tastes like home" he said softly, dropping his eyes once more and blushing lightly.

Lucian cupped Leo's face in his hand and pulled him up into a passionate kiss.
Rosemary walked in with another bowl of soup and saw the two kissing. A blush came to her cheeks and she silently set down the bowl and left the room without making another sound.
Lucian released his lover's lips and smiled. "Only look up at me. You don't have to meet my eyes but you must look to my face regardless of what others say." Lucian kissed Leo's nose. "That's a direct order Missy." Lucian gave a soft giggle and scooped more soup onto the soup and offered it to Leo.

Leo's eyes closed again at the kiss, his hands coming up to gently rest on Lucian's chest while the other kissed him. when the prince moved away, leo was flushed, but he smiled at the order and bowed his head, "yes master" his eyes lifted and looked into the other's eyes for a moment before focusing on his nose. even that felt wrong, but he forced himself to do it since it was an order. he ate the offered bite and blushed a little more, "I'm fine, Lucian-sama, i can feed myself."

Lucian gave another smile and kissed Leo's forehead, placing the tray on his lovers lap gently. "If you feel shaky at all, I'll finish feeding you. This is hot soup, I'd never forgive myself if you spilled it and harmed yourself." Lucian's fingertips brushed Leo's chest softly. "And what beautiful skin to have damaged." Lucian looked over Leo's body quickly, a bright blush coming to his cheeks as he imagined the boy without the bedsheets wrapped around him. Lucian coughed into his hand and turned to get his own soup.

Leo smiled and started to eat, "thank you, Lucian." he finished and looked up at the man who had been so kind to him all this time. "You-you have been so kind to me, Lucian-sama. i don't know what to do-how can i repay you for your kindness?" he could only think of one thing, but he wasn't sure Lucian would accept Leo using his body to repay him. it was a strange feeling, knowing he was wanted, but also knowing that Lucian wouldn't simply take what he wanted and use Leo until he was satisfied

Lucian's face lit up a bright pink. "J-J-Just having you so willing to change for me is good enough." Lucian looked away from Leo's eyes, a great shyness coming over him and stripping him of his cockyness. "I'm grateful you haven't run screaming into the night after all the madness we've been through. It's hard being heir and its even harder knowing that people only want to be around you to impress you parents, win themselves a good job, or try and wiggle themselves into power beside me." Lucian's eyes began to darken to a stormy gray color. "I'm just tired of being deceived and lied too for no damn good reason. I'm no one speical. I didn't ask to be heir, hell I'd be happy being a poor child cause I know my family would be looking to make em happy, not build their reputation." Lucian's fists knotted up in anger. "I'm sick of trying to please everyone just because thats what's right. I want to please myself and make myself feel happiness."
Lucian's hands unknotted and a great sigh came from his chest. "But I'm not strong enough to tell them no. I'm such a pushover..." His head fell into his hands and he gave a groan of defeat.

Leo wasn't sure what to say to Luian's rant, but he also knew that words could mean next to nothing at times like this. so he did what he knew best. he put his arms around Lucian's waist, his head resting on the other's shoulder. "My master is a kind generous man. it is nothing to be ashamed of, and those who try to use your kindness against you are not worth your thoughts, Lucian-sama" he said softly.

Lucian felt Leo's body pressed to his and he instinctively wrapped his arms around the smaller male. He lifted him into his lap and kissed him with such passion and intensity it left them both breathless. Lucian stared down into Leo's eyes for a time before speaking. "...I want you to have the life you not got to have. I want to give you what they took away...but I'm afraid I'll screw it up before I have to chance and they'll send you back and lock me away. I can't let them do that...but i don't know what to do. I can't take you home now. The entire castle's in an uproar because of what I've done already..." Lucian pulled Leo close, burying his nose in Leo's hair and inhaling the sweet, watery scent that forever clung to him. Lucian felt a sharp pain in his chest at the very thought of loosing the male he held so tightly in his arms.
"They cannot have you back for they will kill you on site and if you die neither the killers nor I will live a day longer." Lucian started to cry, soft weak sobs breaking up his words. "I want...to marry you...I want to wander...the castle with you....and find things anew...I want to take you...to the Isles in the summer...and show you...the flowers....I want to have you help me make laws...that will protect more than hurt...I just want to see your pretty face in the window as I come home, smiling and excited as I approach the gates.....I want to be with you...and I don't know why...I've never felt so strongly about anything....not even defying my parents....nothing's ever meant so much to me....I want to protect you...I want to save you....i want to give you back the life they stole....I want to give you the choice....of being a boy....but I'd never force you....I want to give you the choice....to do anything..."
Lucian buried his face in Leo's hair and wept like a small child does in his mother's arms.

It was instinctual, Leo didn't even realize he was doing it until he felt the soft brush of wings against his hands. His wings hand folded out and were now encircling the two of them, surrounding them with warmth and softness. Leo smiled a little sadly, "forgive me, Lucian-sama, but it is impossible. even you cannot turn back time and prevent the Hunters from taking me. besides, if you did then i never would have met you..." he added softly. "lucian-Lulu, i want you to be happy. i want you to be able to run a kingdom with pride and if it means i must live as you bentian until the day you become king then i will gladly do so. even if it ,means i must be in hiding until the day when it is safe for me to be by your side, i am willing. and if the kingdom you dream of creating costs me my life then i would give it freely, but if i die i would wish that you would live on, lulu. because if you die then your dream dies with you." he looked into Lucian's eyes and smiled gently, "my life is not worth yours, not now, not ever. should i die, use my death to create a burning passion within yourself, make it your driving force to create a kingdom where those like me can hold their heads up and look others in the eye without fear." he said, his voice strong

Lucian's arms tightened around Leo."Thank you so much Lilly....you have no idea what you mean to me...I'll make this work for you so you can be free from these chains that hold you down. I'll free your wings and you'll fly again...I'll give you the world and then some...This I swear to you" Lucian looked up from Leo's hair and saw the soft feathers surrounding him his fingertips brushed him and he felt chills run up his spine."I promise I'll make this world better....for you..for Rose...for Cade..for all the Bentains in that house I stole you from...for the Bentains who saved me when I was young!...I will fix this broken world and set it right again!...but I don't want to have to hide you.."
"What if you don't have too?" Lucian span around, clinging to Leo's body. Rose smiled from the doorway. "Why don't you let Lily stay here? She's not gonna be locked away and she'll be in a place were people know Bentian's work. She'll be safe, fed, and loved and you can come visit anytime. She'll be hiding in plain sight and not one single person will know of her true existence." Lucian looked between Rose and Leo. "How can I be sure that my lily will go unharmed?!" Rose scoffed. "Last guy who tried to hurt me was beaten with a rolling pin, straight from Mama herself. Now with Cade back to health, he'll be our personal bodyguard. No one will even be able to think of harming her. Maybe I'll even be able to warm up her dark side while she's here. Teach her how to be," Rose gave a devious smile," a boy."
